Sehr zentral gelegen,man ist in wenigen Mnuten im Gotischen VIertel, auf der Rambla, usw. Einrichtung seh modern, etwaszu durchgestyled velleicht, Wasserkocher auf dm Zimmer, guter Service. Bar auf dem Dach ist Fr-So geöffnet. Der Pool ist mit 1 m Tiefe sehr flach, aber durchaus ok. Auch gratis Sauna vorhanden.

Für ein so zentrales Hotel und dann auch ein 4**** , hätte wir mehr Hygiene erwartet. Tisch und telefon etc. wurden nie abgestaubt.

We found the Silken Gran Havana to not only be a nice hotel, with clean rooms of decent size, but the location couldn't be beat. Convenient for walking to key city sites, easy metro access, but in a quiet area. We were very happy with our stay there and would recommend if visiting Barcelona.

Staff was helpful in booking tours and accessing wifi. The hotel had two small elevators for a large hotel. This was inadequate. One was out of service the entire three days we were there resulting in long waits each time you needed the elevator. When your room is on the 7th floor taking the stairs was not an option . We were there during the work week […] so I don't understand why they they couldn't get it fixed. It made the hotel operation seem amateurish and blew any pretense of being a high end luxury hotel. Hotel air conditioning not turned on so room temperature could not be adjusted. Mehr

Brilliant location, 1930's style hotel, a little wear and tear in parts but this should not put anyone off. Really helpful and friendly staff. Some street noise at night as on a busy road but again this should not put you off as the general look, feel, comfort and location of the hotel was very worth the stay. Didn't sample any of the food as there […] were too many places to eat nearby. After months of searching for a hotel on trip advisor I think we found the best one for the money. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the city center, paseo de gracia, la pedrera, la rambla and casa batllo. There are many restaurants near so you have plenty of choice.

Very nice hotel, personnel polite and available for any needs. Good position, variegate breakfast, clean rooms. Only remark: room too hot in the night, not possible to set the temperature.

This is a nice hotel with helpful staff. But what is the greatest selling point is the hotel's location -- basically a 5-15 walk from almost all the key sites in Barcelona. As some of the other reviews have noted, the rooms facing the street can be noisy (due to traffic and subway), so light-sleepers should listen to the hotel staff and take a room […] in the back. Service was great but the rooms had an old air-conditioner, which made it a little uncomfortable.

comfortable, clean, close the the Gothic quarter and Rambla and Plaza Cataluna...A perfect home base to explore this beautiful city. Front desk very helpful. Taxi stand right outside the hotel for easy return to airport. We stayed in a family room, actually two adjoining rooms.

This hotel is located near bus terminal from the airport and subway. Also walking distance to Temple de la Sagurada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo and Placa de toros Monumental. The room was nice & clean and the stuffs were friendly.

The hotel overall is fine however; the air conditioning in our room did not really cool the room even though we set it to the coldest setting. The coffee and pastries were gone by 8:00 AM. This is an extra perk in the concierge floor.

This hotel was a very nice. The reception staff were very helpful. We arrived in the rain at 10.00am and wasn't due to check-in till 2. They were very helpful in finding out that our rooms were ready and gave them to us early. The rooms were lovely very modern. stayed for 2 nights prior to cruise, 1 night after. We enjoyed the hotel, a convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, great entertainment in the lobby, as we were fortunate enough to be there twice on a Friday night for a jazz show. I hope that I have the opportunity to visit again.

We reserved the Havana Club expecting a much better experience. Usually a Club level means you have coffee, juices and a variety of cheeses, fruits, even cereals and breads. DO not expect that in the Silken Havana. Coffee yes and some cruisants and sweet cakes. Not worth the additional charge. if you can get your room with Breakfast is worth it. By […] the way several times during our stay there were no cups and nothing to eat. They do not maintained stocked or clean and when you ask them, it takes a long time to be corrected., otherwise just take the room. Location is good but you need to work at least 3 or more blocks to get something to eat, for the Metro. There is nothing right next to it. We liked the Hotel, the location is good but not great, the neighborhood is kind of dead and the Havana Club definitively not worthed. Everything you could possibly want, was within walking distance or within walking distance to a mode of transportation to get you there. Taxi's are reasonable, bus (hop on hop off) is very convenient and the Metro (subway) is extremely "user friendly". Hotel itself was very nice. There were no frills, but everything you needed was there and it was clean. […] Staff all spoke English to some degree and were very helpful. This hotel was clean, modern and conveniently located; however, some of the staff were a bit unfriendly. I would not reccommend eating in the restaurant as it was devoid of people, no music and the food was not even average. Our room was not large, but adequate. It was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The front desk was very helpful. They noticed one of us had a birthday during our stay. We were only in Barcelona for 24 hours...the Silken Gran was a nice hotel. Close to Metro.

Staff friendly and helpful

The Silken hotels should be rated 5 stars - they are so helpful, caring, warm and take care of their clients. I will never stay anywhere else but the Silken hotels when I visit Spain again. We stayed in the Silken Ramblas, WOW, that was great and convenient at the time, then we stayed at the Silken at the Gran Via, WOW that was also the best experience […] in Barcelona. The hotel is absolutely great, the location could not be better, the service and quality is par excelelence I would without any reservation recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, better than four star facility.

In terms of staff efficiency and organization, this is the worst hotel I ever stayed at! I booked a "Silken Club Room" with a special promotional package. At check-in, the clerk didn't want to give me the room which I had reserved, and refused the wine and breakfast which were supposed to be included. She blamed "the new computer system." After considerable […] arguing, I did receive the room but not the wine and breakfast. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel. We arrived very early and the staff was courteous and accommodating. Our room was not available but they held our luggage and we were able to start our exploration of their beautiful city. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The Silken Gran Havana is an excellent hotel. The building itself is beautiful, particularly at night. Rooms were stylish and minimal - typical Barcelona style. Service was friendly and helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and price was fair. Breakfast buffet was good and the dinner meal in the dining room was also. Wait staff was efficient and friendly.

This was way too expensive for the location which is outside of Las Ramblas and most other tourist attractions. You have to pay for ice at this hotel! Bed was comfortable, but no way to adjust the thermostat setting!

Great hotel, clean, great location but perhaps a little pricey

Excellent hotel;very helpful staff;very good location; beautifully refurbished. Polished floors with no carpets so if you are noise sensitive be aware.However for us we would have no hesitation in rebooking when we next plan to be in Barcelona. Good local cafes available nearby for a light breakfast if you do not want to pay hotel prices.

This hotel was excellent..a great location in the centre of Barcelona but also a quiet spot. A few minutes walk to three metro stations make it easy to get to/from airports and further afield in Spain. A short 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of La Rambla. The roof top pool and sun bed area were a great escape for a relaxing afternoon soaking up the sun with amazing views. The breakfast in the hotel was very expensive (about 18euros a head) so I did not have any but there are plenty of local coffee bars around the corner serving excellent coffee and croissants very cheaply. I have stayed in silken hotels before and have never been disapointed. I am looking forward to staying in another one of their hotels. Mehr

This was my first time to Barcelona and I must say that the Silken Gran Hotel Havana exceeded my expectation after visiting Paris and Venice. The hotel is in a great location for dining. We were also in walking distance to get on the different tour buses. When I do return to Barcelona and I will return, I will come back to this hotel. At the hotel, […] I liked going to the roof where we had fun drinking and dancing once we got out the pool. I didn't eat at the hotel but my sister and friend enjoyed all the meals they had there. Bra hotell, centralt men ändå i ett lugnt område. Bra frukost. Allt fungerade bra och vi skulle gärna åka hit igen.

Loistava runsas buffet aamiainen, mm erilaisia munakkaita pyynnöstä sekä kuohuviiniä tarjolla.

Bra beliggenhet, gangavstand til La Rambla og Plaza de Catalonya. Hyggelig betjening, men de kunne godt opplyst om at hvis man bestiller frokost kvelden før, så betaler man 1/4 mindre.

Quarto reformado,mas os corredores, bar e o lobby muito velho, sem conservação. O ar condicionado não funcionou nenhuma vez, apesar de ter pedido várias vezes.
