Bodily fluids on the blanket(and thats being polite), stains on comforter, ripped sheets, toilet not bolted down and wobbling like a teeter totter. There was not a restaurant as advertised and "hot buffet breakfast" was pathetic. Also hot tub didn't work. Good location.

"Short overnight stay"
While the Super 8 was convenient off the 401, that was its only advantage. The room was "tired" and smelled of smoke. Toiletries were sparse. The complimentary breakfast the following morning was poor. Try elsewhere - there is more selection in the area.

The front desk staff was obviously stressed and understaffed. The room was supposed to be non-smoking with two queen beds. Instead, it was one queen bed with a pull-out couch (no bedding) and it reeked of stale smoke. The towel rack was broken out of the wall. There was a mouse-repellent gadget plugged into the wall socket (!)

It was okay and the low rate was reasonable. Check in took a little while. Breakfast was pretty good, but the hot tub was broken and did not look like it was being fixed anytime soon.

The main wall light didn't work in the room. One of the face towels looked tea stained. The heater in the room didn't have a working thermosate, so it was either on or off, so you heat up the room till you can't stand it then you turn it off until you start to freeze. The furniture and room in general were poorly maintained. I had a smoking room with […] 2 double beds. There was only 1 ashtray in the whole room. Which is likely why the night table was covered with cigarette burn marks all along the edge. Even the hallways had obvious neglect with holes (too many through out to be new). When we checked in we were given our room number we were simply set off to find it ourselves. Any other hotel of this size we have stayed in have provided a map. Also to our surprise on check in we were told that because it was New Years they wouldn't be offering the breakfast buffet (which is offered on their listing, no mention of exceptions). There was no mention of times or how to find their other on site facilities such as hotel and pool. (again any other hotel of this size has this info available in the room, but not here). When I first sat down on the edge of the bed I thought I was going to sink to the floor. Through out the night it sounded like some sort of vibrating bed going on. The maid haddent finished with the room at 3:30 pm when we arrived (half hour after check in time). I have stayed in back water cheap motels that were of far better quality then this. I will never stay in or recommend a DUMPY 8 to anyone. Mehr

Very affordable and includes a hot breakfast, Hot Tub and Pool. We have stayed in many hotels in London and many are double the price and still not as nice. Some things look a little dated like older Tube TV's in the rooms instead of Flat HDTV's and some of the furniture has the finish peeling off but those are just a couple small issues that definitely […] don't take away from all the extra services and the affordable price to the rooms. The staff and the room were excellent but it was misreprentive about the amenities. There was no coffee maker and no jetted tub that was listed on line. The buffet breakfast was very good except there was no fresh fruit which I like to start the day. I had asked if my son could share the buffet with me and they told me no unless I paid for having 2 […] people in the room instead of 1, which there was only 1. "Nice stay for the price"
The breakfast for the price was very good. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation so there was painting supplies out in the open everywhere. That is to be expected... The only downside was the broken Hot Tub which I assume also heats the pool which was way to cold for anyone to swim in. Close to Hwy. 401. Close to White Oaks Mall. 10 min drive to downtown London. Public transit at the door. Hotel was quite clean and modern. Would stay here again.

I guess I asked for it - but the choice of a smoking accommodation put me in a very dirty part of the hotel and my room was dirty, the hair dryer missing - yanked off the wall, looked like - the TV outmoded and the back door was left open all night, despirt a sign that warned people that it should be secured after hours. The other part of the hotel […] looked renovated (at least the hall I went through) and inviting. So, don't ask for a smoker's room. And don't agree to take a room at the very back of the building. The girl that checked in, did not smile once, she put me on the 2nd floor so had to carry everything up the stairs by myself, the room was 84 as they hadn's turned the air on yet, the towel bar in the bathroom was broken and sitting on the counter, the fridge was on its lowest setting, the ice machine was broken on the 2nd floor, I told her and she […] said well did you try the one on the first floor, no smile no apology no nothing, she was think and long blond hair and so snotty, geez, the mattress was too soft, the breakfast (free) was really bad! the room was boiling hot 86 degrees at 7.pm ,the toilet was stained yuck. We paid for 2 queen beds and got 2 double beds. The pool was ok the spay was not open

"Great for a one night stay"
Only stayed for one night, but overall it was a great experience. Staff was friendly and the motel was kept rather nice. Room was clean and didn't really have any flaws. Rooms had a mini fridge and a microwave. Only downside... No remote control for the TV.

The room and bathroom was spacious and the vanity in the bathroom was wonderful but the toilet was disgusting having rust stains in the bowl from top to bottom. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the front desk clerks were very friendly. The location is very central to White Oaks Mall and all the amenities of Wellington Street. The hotel was dated and kind of shabby. The swimming pool water was very cold, spa tub didn't work and the pool had weird hours (pool open til 10 but only for adults 18 and older from 9 to 10). We (me and my two kids ages 16 and 19) arrived after traveling all day at 8 pm, so that doesn't give you alot of time to enjoy the cold pool and the spa tub […] that doesn't work. This is a grip of mine with many hotels though. The hot breakfast was cold. The hallway to the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I am amazed that hotels still allow smoking in their rooms. After this trip I will not patronize hotels that have smoking rooms. On the upside the beds were comfortable enough, the staff was super nice, helpfull and friendly. They had a great sushi place in the hotel. Overall I would not stay here again for the price I paid. If it had been cheaper i would have been less disappointed. I have learned alot on this trip, as I stayed in 5 different hotels along the way. Mehr

We had a problem, as they didn't have our reservation. They were going to give us a lesser room than we booked, which was a king rm with jaccuzzi tube.. Management got involved, and we got our room but they seem to make us feel like they were doing it as a favour. The room was nice, but this was clearly a smoking room, and we had requested a non-smoking […] room. The TV didn;t work properly, poor quality pillow and the bed sloped towards the head. The Jaccuzzi tub didn;t work, so I called the front desk and they hadn't a clue. Fortunately I have skills and found the GFI breaker tripped. Mehr
"For Convience not comfort"
Well what can i say except that the room was ok just to sleep in if you can get comfortable on the very old soft mattresses that are sagging in the middle. But the over all appreance of the Hotel was not bad the pool was refreshing having a fridge and microwave was great. the bathroom was a disgrace, the fan sounded like a jet trying to take off.... […] the room had a weird smell to it. and the air-conditioner was not worth its weight in gold. But like i said at the beginning it was ok for what it was and i was allowed to have my dog with me. One night only is good more then one you would be better off somewhere else. Mehr

We informed our agent we would be riding all day and a hot tub was the main focus of the hotel. He stated it might be possible that we would be upgraded when we got there. First our NON SMOKING room stunk of smoke. The next room was great. We were sent upstairs for ice (after getting a bucket from the front desk...not in the room...they got it from […] another room)found out later there was on next to our room. Went to the hot tub...major joke...luke warm bath water. after a few minutes it stopped...girl at desk states it happens when it over heats( put in proper overloads) and she could get someone to fix it within a 1/2 hr. We were on a pre trip for a Harley group from the states and super8 just lost our approval Mehr

The staff in the front desk were very helpful and easy to talk to. The room we got was fine but some of the things in the room were broken and they offered to change us to another room but we stayed in that room because we were only staying for one night. The hotel is being repainted at this time so the halls had masking tape around the doors. all in […] all it was well worth the price. Mehr
