Red Roof Inn Orlando Convention Center - Orlando

This hotel was only five minutes from Sea World, the convention center was in walking distance. Every time I ask for something from te front desk they were very accommodating. For they price and area it could not be bear.

Not fancy at all, but clean enough, and close the convention center. Places to eat less than a mile walk, so that was nice. Housekeeping staff were great, friendly and helpful. I was a bit surprised that they put a single women on the first floor on the end, but I kept my door locked at all times and felt pretty safe.

If you're traveling on a tight budget to an event at the Orlando Convention Center, and don't need to stay in fancy surroundings, this hotel is an excellent choice. The staff is outstandingly friendly and attentive, much above and beyond the level you would usually find in a budget hotel - they volunteered to print my airline boarding pass, gave me […] very helpful advice about shopping in the area, and even microwaved my frozen dinner with a smile. The room and the community areas of the hotel were very clean, and the furnishings were in very good condition. There are two stores right outside the hotel that offer groceries etc. and several restaurants within close walking distance so you can survive pretty well without a rental car. I would highly recommend this hotel for graduate students and other travelers on a budget. Mehr

The hotel is very close to convention center. clean and staff is very friendly. Its not a 4 star, but for the price - its right. Rooms are somewhat old. The only problem i had was with the internet, their support could not fix it, but i used the next door hotel internet.. Something to note. Good clean room. Right across from the convention center.

Everything was great except for one thing. The room smelled like s our sponge. I think it was from moldy carpets, from guests wet clothes from the pool. Everything else was perfect. I hated to rate them as low as I did on cleanliness, 'cuz the maid service was excellent.

We have been staying at the Red Roof Hawaiian Court for 10+ years have seen it through a renovation 5 years ago and it is in need of some serious rework. Broken glass bottles on walk ways, roaches in room on upper floor (it is Florida and a roach or two will get in but we had 5 on the second floor). Cig butts everywhere, just plain dirty. Steps need […] to be cleaned. Room smelled, no shampoo, no towels we had to keep asking for room to be cleaned and towels to be left. We were there for a convention which we attend every year and took all of our staff for the price we will look at the other hotels the Red Roof has seen better days and with newer hotels the same distance from the convention center there is no need to stay here any more. I was attending a conference at another local hotel only .3 of a mile away. The conference hotel was four times the price of the Red Roof. My Red Roof room had been recently renovated and was very nice and clean. Parking was included. The wireless internet worked great. There was a Denny's, Red Lobster, and McDonalds within an easy walk. close to Sea world, but i think they forgot to Vac the floor and Not sure about one bed sheets!!

Super convienent location for OCCC events (right across street). Very helpful staff (called and offered to print my boarding passes for me). The place is nothing fancy but it was comfortable, functional, and a great value.

Room austrere (old TV) but clean and acceptable. Lobby very clean and personnel outstanding.

Great location. Clean and safe. A good value.

Good location, but hotel needed painting on balcony rails and looked shabby. No safe in room. Twice the price, and not worth the value because it was a popular weekend. Postage Stamp Pool.

Choose this hotel because of its location, within walking distance of the convention center. I made a last minute reservation for a conference I was attending and my normal location was sold out. Since I didn't want to pay $300/night, but wanted to be close this was really my only choice. The room was ok (about what one would expect for the price). […] It was clean, and the carpet was in good shape. No coffee maker in the room is disappointing. And I normally don't stay anywhere with exterior entrances to the room. But the location is safe. No frills. No luxury. But clean enough and very convenient location. Staff was nice enough. Mehr

Being on business travel it would have been nice to know that there wasn't an exercise facility. Though I was given the number to the Rosen next door and for a fee I used their facility. The laundry that is advertised is not free nor is there a working lock so anyone can gain entrance. I looked for a "do not disturb" sign to find the entire hotel has […] none. They did place a note in my file which stopped none of the housekeepers from entering the room. It wasn't that they came to clean the room but left the blinds wide open so that all of my personal belongings could be seen to anyone. This happened twice before the manager finally spoke to the staff and it ceased. For the price I would recommend going to any of the other local hotels that offer a gym, breakfast, free laundry and many other amenities a traveler (business or recreation) usually looks for. The hotel was ok. There were cigarette burn holes in the bed spread and the room smelled a little. One of the sheets smelled like cat urine.

The room was like pictured. However, it had a musty smell. The linens did not look very clean nor smell clean even when I asked for new sheets. Place was very convenient which was the reason I chose this hotel. I cannot complain too much because the price was so reasonable.

Good value for the convenience to the Orange County Convention Center, 2 minutes walking distance. One problem is that the vent in bathroom is VERY loud.

I've stayed at both Rosens near the convention center for tradeshows but haven't gotten a good night's sleep at either. Tried the Red Roof Inn this time and I will definitely be going back. The location is walking distance to the convention center and the beds are much more comfortable than either Rosen! Room was clean and had a small fridge.

Rooms were very clean and well kept, great location for Sea World, Discovery Cove. Easy access to 528, I4, and International for convenient resturants and outlet malls. Great place if you plan to be out most of the time and need a comfortable place to crash.

If you're in Orlando for a convention and need an inexpensive place to stay, the Red Roof Inn is the place. It lacks a lot of the ammeneties that more expensive hotels may have (like free WiFi for everyone, flat screen TV's, free breakfast), but the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the A/C works well in the hot days of Summer. It's easy walking […] distance to the Convention Center, and the local trolly can take you up and down International Drive for a wide variety of food and activities. Mehr

The room was clean and the location was great. There's a supermarket across the parking lot as well as a McDonald's, which was very convenient. We enjoyed the pool and spa which were clean as well. I would stay there again.

The Red Roof Inn near the convention center in Orlando, FL. was NOT what we had expected. It is ONLY a place to sleep and to take a bath/shower. There are no frills--NO in-room coffee maker, microwave oven, refrigerator, hair dryer, ironing board, iron or free Wifi. To be sure, there was no breakfast.

Good place to sleep, silently, and close to the Convention Center and quite in the middle of the railway of the IRideTrolley a special line that connect quite all the major actraction in Orlando along the International Drive, good fun and cheep (Keep the ticket on line in advance!!!). No breakfast or meal available but close there is a grocery, Wallsmart […] and a couple of restorants (Red Lobster and Denny's). Mehr
