Von einer langen Fahrt von der Interstate runter und gut übernachten.

Gut geführt und sauber, würde es jeder Zeit wieder auf der Durchreise dort einbuchen.

Close to turnpike exit

I was traveling with a group of friends and we needed a place to crash for the night. Nice place with friendly service.

I thought the staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is great for the price.

The hotel was clean and quiet despite being next to the NYS Thruway. Definitely would stay again.

Red Roof Inn (Utica) -- Close to the Thruway, very decent room for the price. No continental breakfast, just coffee w/ artificial creamer. Other than that, no complaints.

Very pleasantly surprized. Considerable work being done on grounds and surrounding areas, looks like someone giving property a nice going over. Fresh plantings and mulch. Looked good, clean parking areas, not usual run down roadside stop.

This is an excellent no-frills option for those on a budget just looking for a clean safe place to shower and sleep. The beds were comfortable and I have no complaints. Bring your own shampoo if you want to use more than the tiny sample size they provide. There was no coffee or hairdryer in the room, which was fine for me, but just so you know. This very basic hotel served our needs with simple accommodations and simple breakfast.

we stayed one nite on our way to Niagara Falls... It was a Friday nite... awoke every hour to some college kids yelling. BUT immediately all became quiet again. This was on a holiday weekend. in a college town.. I'd still recommend this place.

The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. For the price, I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel was clean, quiet and affordable, all we were looking for.

I have to admit; I was surprised at the value I got for what I paid. While they didn't offer a freebie breakfast (which is never much of anything anyway...), I appreciated the fact that the room had a refrigerator & microwave. And even though the hotel was pretty close to the Thruway, it was relatively quiet.

Clean and comfortable room, good value. Staaf is friendly. We have stayed here before and would do so again.

Had we known what this would be like...we never would have made this reservation. Upon arrival at 5pm, there were "guests" disrobing right outside their rooms, in clear view of the public. The clientele looked sketchy at best. We were given keys to our 2 rooms only to find that one room was still full of men smoking, and drinking (A non-smoking room!) […] The receptionist gave us new rooms (not near one another) with the explanation that there were many late check-outs that day. What kind of a way is this to run a hotel. Steer clear of this one! Mehr

Room clean, close drive to restaurants...beds horridly uncomfortable. Lumpy, poor nights sleep.

Booked a nonsmoking room, reeked of stale cigs. When I called the front desk they assured me that it was a non-smoking room. They offered to move me but the room would be a downgrade and since I had my children with me that wasn't an option. There was graffiti of the grim reaper on the bathroom door, CREEPY! The "pillow-top mattresses" were NOT worth […] the upgrade fee. Over-all not a pleasant stay. Would NOT book with Red Roof again! Mehr

Staff super friendly but this will not compensate for lumpy bed and flat pillows.

Basic room to sleep in. Room and bathroom were clean. My only complaint was poor lighting (very dim bulbs in all the lights). But I would stay there again.

Hotel was basic, comfortable for what I needed. No coffee maker in room but had microwave and fridge nothing to make tea/coffe Coffee in morning was gone by 8.30am A few big trucks overnight. I was passing thro' from Canada back home to MA needed a place to sleep. Bed was comfy.

great pric e,just off the highway-clean-it wasnt fancy price was great ..the small restaurant at beginning of the street-great wings..pizza excellentmy stay was a good 1/2 stop before cape cod..

The people were very nice and when we had a problem they fixed it.

I was delighted to see upon arrival that it looks like the motel had recently have a makeover. The location is close to eateries of all types, high end, moderately priced and many varieties of fast food. The price was fair and room was clean and kept nicely through our stay. The only downside (which we very minor), the volume control on the remote control […] for the T.V. did not work properl. Wonderful stay, right off the NY thruway. Mehr

The Red Roof staff were very nice. Unfortunately the non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke and the beds were lumpy. The sink is in the bedroom, not the bathroom.

The room was very clean and adequate for our halfway point on our trip. The bed and pillows were very comfy and we slept great. I would recommend this hotel to others. Thank you.

Cozy room, but shower water speed was way slow compared to other Red Roof Inns. That was disappointing...

On a Road Trip to Las Vegas, Excellent room for the price, would def recomend

The staff was helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with. Funny that the next night we stayed in a hotel that was 3 times the money and were very unhappy with it. The price, position next to the hiway, cleanliness and friendliness make this a great deal.

We stayed here on our way from CT to a lacrosse tournament in Syracuse. Very conveinent off the highway, great food in area, friendly hotel staff. Our room was super cold which is exactly how we like to sleep and the beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and had all the basics you need for a one night stay. Very comfortable, convenient to our visiting location. And, quiet. Did not hear the semi truck leave in the morning!!! Convenient to food and ice cream. Good value for a little cash.

Very surprised by how clean the room was. We were in for energy conference and had to book last minute. There weren't many hotels available in the area so we had to stay at this hotel which I never stayed at Ref Roof in before.. Very good deal for the price...

The room rate was really good. Room ammenities were sufficient. The Staff was really friendly. The manager really wanted to make sure I was checked in and happy with the room.

Avoid if possible. Good rate, but horrible service! Our tv remote wouldn't work. The young (kid) at the desk said she'd bring a new one. She never did, so my husband had to walk to the office and get it. There ants all over the bathroom floor and the bathroom was just big enough to walk in and take half a step in either direction before you were in […] the bathtub or toilet. The room was clean for the most part. There was a couple small burn holes in the sheets and the bed was HARD as a rock. Seriously, my husband and I are in our late 20's and woke up hunched over with back pain. I would say if you can afford a better hotel, look into The Radisson. Much better!!!! Mehr

A little hard to miss unless you have a GPS! But other than that, a great hotel stay!
