Sehr saubere und gut eingerichtete Zimmer.Nettes und sich kümmerndes Personal. Liegt allerdings etwas sehr außerhalb.Für einen Zwischenstopp, um noch ein anderes Ziel zu erreichen, Klasse.

Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.Das .Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Föhn, Bügeleisen und -brett, Mikrowelle.Heiswasserbereiter. TV. In San Antonio ist man ohne Auto wie im Gefängnis -total unbeweglich. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns optimal in der Nähe unserer Verwandten, das heisst 10 Minuten Autofahrt mit Tempo 100 kmh.oder 15 Minuten bis Downtown

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht da (Rückflug), aber das Hotel hat direkt überzeugt und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Super eingerichtete Zimmer. Alles wirkte wie neu renoviert. Bequeme Betten und viel Platz. Sehr empfehlenswert. In Deutschland wäre das Hotel locker ein 4-Sterne-Hotel.

Sehr schoenes Hotel, toller Service und rund herum alles in Ordnung. Babybettchen verlangt, kam 10 Minuten spaeter aufs Zimmer (ohne extra Kosten). Fitnesscenter ist vom besten, sehr neue Geraete. Die Lage vom Hotel ist mit einer der besten am San Antonio Riverwalk,Zimmer mit Balkon empfehlenswert, ist oft mit drei Hotelzimmern verbunden was aber OK ist.
Lage
DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport liegt in Flughafennähe in San Antonio in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Einkaufszentrum North Star, Quarry Golf Club und Alamo Quarry Market. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: Marion Koogler McNay Art Museum und San Antonio Zoo.

"close to must -see sights"
The staff was friendly, helpful and had a really great attitude along with very clean and comfortable rooms. I will stay here again...
I was a little disappointed that the crew didn't make sure everything in the room was in proper and working order. We came to find out that the refrigerator in the room didn't work. It was replaced by a smaller one, the size of a microwave where hardly anything fit. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at the Doubletree Hotel. The people working the front desk at check-in were excellent and easy to deal with. The room was very comfortable and the house cleaning lady did a wonderful job cleaning the room, providing adequate towels, etc. We look forward to staying in other Doubletree Hotels.

stayed here several times years ago but now the remodel makes room so much nicer and updated unfortunately had to go on week b4 Easter for business and found hotel too noisy with kids for my taste nice pool area which i do not use--great hotel for families--not so great for biz stationary bike in fitness room not working but overall good experience
My wife and I had a great clean and comfortable room at the Double Tree Hotel at the airport in San Antonio Texas. The only two problems were the difficulty of pick-up at the airport, a very late response time and second, the hallways both times we rented a room, at 4 p.m. had the morning room service trays sitting on the floor outside the rooms! iron towel rack where towels are stored needs to be cleaned. Floors in the corners need extra attention. Pest control as there were several bugs in our room. Hotel is what I expect from a great chain. However the restaurant does not open for breakfast till 6:30 which is a little late for serious business people. I showed up a little early and was seated. Coffee and juice came quickly but still had to wait for the buffet to be set up. I noted that room service would deliver at 6am. "San Antonio Double Tree by airport"
As a frequent traveler, I would recommend this hotel (The chocolate chip cookies are awesome!) however there is a Crowne Plaza and a Drury Inn (obviously I'm not a hotel snob! lol) that are within a mile of each other that you can pay less for and end up with the same value... and at the Drury Inn you get 3 free drinks at happy hour per person and finger […] foods! This hotel was beautiful from the outside and from the website. I was under the impression that we booked a "double" room that would actually sleep 4 people. The beds were tiny and the bathroom was so small even one person had a hard time maneuvering around in there (no we are not fat). This is basically an old hotel that did some small renovations […] to try to keep up with the big dogs. Not gonna work....i'll never stay here again with my family. Mehr

It was obvious to me that the hotel was a bit older, but regardless it was very comfortable and very clean. It's a beautiful hotel, especially if you get a room overlooking the courtyard/pool area. The restaurant food was not all that great, but there's a TGI Fridays literally right across the street, so there are options. The hotel was fine. It's pretty dated but it's clean. The hallways were a little crazy, but my son figured out a quicker way to get from our room to the lobby and it was fine. Would definitely stay again. Not for someone who needs the finest of everything - it is outdated in decor, but has beautiful waterfalls in the lobby and the pool/hottub area is […] really nice. Needed 1 night to attend a wedding and the marathon had all downtown hotels booked. This was a fine property. Room was satisfactory, staff were efficient. Bed was comfortable to sleep in and room temp was OK. Only complaint was the bathroom water. The shower pressure was ridiculously low and the the temp would go up to scaldingly hot. This hotel was clean, pleasant, and charming- I absolutely LOVED the courtyard area. I'm from San Antonio so I wasn't there for the downtown tourist spots. If you are, this will be a little out of the way, but everything in San Antonio is close by and 410 highway right at your doorway will give you easy access to most places you need.

"Double Tree pay for internet"
I thought it was ridiculous that I had to pay to use the internet when 99% of other hotels and restaurants/coffee shops offer FREE internet. I was charged extra for "additional fees," I don't see why they still need to charge for internet usage. When people travel for business they need the internet, it should be free.
"Horrible Experience"
Shower didn't work, no water. Hotel refused at first to move us to a different room, then upon 3 request moved us to another room and the tub didn't drain, no towels at the pool, horrible service in the bar and restaurant. Had the breakfast buffet in morning which was horrible, food wasn't fresh and a server came out to refill the scrambled eggs and […] dropped a large serving spoon on the floor and picked it up and placed it back in the eggs, we left and will NEVER go back Mehr
They really need to update the decor, and get new carpet! Staff was very friendly and helpful which made up for all of that.... I had trouble finding parking, and a staff member even offered to move their car so I could take that spot.

"double tree in san antonio"
the hotel is a older hotel and they were having issues with the a/c and had to change rooms and had to work on that one, did get it fixed some what. they get the a/c fixed i will stay with the dt again. everything was great. Thanks
