Wir haben das Hotel als erste Übernachtung nach dem Flug von Zürich nach Miami mit Kleinkindern 9 & 11 Monate gebucht. Das Hotel hat seinen Zweck bestens erfüllt, da es in der Nähe des Flughafens liegt, gute Zimmer für Kinder und die Infrastruktur stimmt. Hotel ist nah am Flughafen, daduch hört man die Flieger sehr gut (nur die starts). Keine lange fahrt zum Hotel mit eigenem Shuttelbus (Gratis) vom Hotel. Gutes Morgenessen.

Da das Hotel sehr nah am Flughafen liegt, ist es für Ankommende und Abreisende sehr gut gelegen. Als wir jetzt dort waren, fand gerade eine grosse Tagung statt, bei der sehr viele Kinder anwesend waren. The Motel was great and the staff even better . The only trouble being to close to the airport and every time you were out by the pool every ten minutes a plane would go over and the noise was to great to talk .

I stayed for one night before leaving on a cruise. I was very pleased with the hotel's staff in particular. They were the most courteous and helpful group that I have encountered in a long time. Had a tooth problem while there and they not only recommended a dental practice, they drove me there and back. The hotel also had a shuttle that would take […] you anywhere within a 3 mile radius for free. This was especially helpful going to dinner if you wanted to leave the hotel. The free buffet breakfast in the morning was the best I have seen at a chain hotel. I have traveled frequently for both business and pleasure and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was large, clean and had all the conveniences. Hotel is a bit 'Old Miami", but was in good repair. The pool is also very nice, as was the manager's cocktail party on Wednesday night. It had free drinks, snacks and music set it an atrium of greenery with indoor fish ponds. Nice touches like that make this hotel stand out. Mehr

good for access to Miami airport. as we waited on our afternoon flight we could enjoy the outdoor pool which was a quite nice area. also had a gym. a little worn down in the rooms, but ok for one night. big and good breakfast buffet with cold and hot disces was included in the room rate. good value

We arrived at 10:30 pm and had to leave at 7:00 am the next morning. They upgraded us to a suite so our 3 kids would each have a bed. I knew at booking it would be a squeeze in a double queen. That was very kind of them! We had a nice meal at closing time in their restaurant. The hotel was a little hard to get to if you aren't coming right from the airport. The front desk didn;t give the best directions when we asked them for a location but other than that it was a typical Embassy Suites stay. Love the manager's reception and the best hotel breakfast around.

Overall everything was OK, except the room had an old musty smell and the pull out bed was horrible. We tried to put the mattress on the floor, but the springs were in the mattress. The regular beds were comfortable. We had to get a rollaway bed brought in to replace the pull out sofa. Breakfast was good.

I really loved staying here. My travel agent had booked us with the El Plalacio. We did not stay there. Bad area. We did not want to stay there. No check in until 3pm. Call your hotel got right in. We will be staying again. Thanks again

Bad part is the mandatory paid parking $10 per day on top of hotel fees. No other parking is available

Great hotel for arriving a day before/after a cruise. Hotel provides free shuttle service to/from hotel, and free full breakfast. The cost to take a shuttle to the Port of Miami is $10/pp. The suites are spacious, with 2 queen beds and a bathroom in one area, and a 4 person dining table with a pullout sofa in another area. My only complaint of this […] hotel is the bathroom tubs and wall tiles needs to be replaces. They are showing signs of aging. Very dissatified with the condition of the plumbing in the bathroom. when flushing the toilet and turning off the shower a loud ginding noise was heard. no response was received from housekeeping when called.

Bring your own pillows!! Bed was a king..and very comfortable, BUT the pillows were the size of throw pillow. There was 4 on the bed, but they need normal, king pillows to fit the king beds!!

After all the rave about this hotel I was surprised to find 1980's decore in much need of a renovation project. The property is located in a neighborhood that I would tank twice about walking night. The rooms are dark and the atrium has a water feature that make if feel like its raining outside. The only sound that over powers the artifical rain sound […] is the block partly that takes place in the social area in the middle of the hotel which is in full swing well past midnite on a weekday night. Nothing like screaming drunk people when you have a meeting in the morning. The staff were friendly enough but with all the great hotels in Miami I know I can do better for the price next time. Mehr

Of course the breakfast was fantastic. We liked the transportation that took us to the mall. It was very thoughtfull to have bottles of water for the guest as they waited to be tranported to the cruise line. The lady that provided the water was so delightful to talk to. The front desk personel were very helpful. I concluded that Embassey Suites must […] treat their employees well, it shows in their attitude their friendliness, the neatness and fresh appearence of their clothing. All levels of personel that I encounted had a very pleasant aura about them and thatis very good for the guest and is an enhancement for the hotel. Mehr

The hotel was generally in good condition. The updated restaurant was okay but a bit on the pricey side for the quality of food. There is a charge for parking which we were not aware. The hotel is very close to most sites with only a fifteen minute drive to downtown Miami (in good traffic) and twenty minutes to South Beach. My biggest complaint, […] not something they can help, was the exact location to the airport. The hotel very close to the end of an active runway. Consequently, when you are trying to enjoy their nice pool area you have a 757 or 747 coming over your head at fairly low altitude at high volume every two to three minutes. In the hotel lobby area you cannot hear the aircraft but in our room, which happened to face the pool, you could hear the aircraft. It was not too much in the room but if you are a light sleeper it would be a problem. Overall a nice stay and the hotel served as a great launching point. The breakfast was great to provide us with the energy to go exploring. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, pancakes, omelets to order, and everything else. On our last stay we where very happy to find out that this hotel has been completely remodeled. The rooms are fresh and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a full breakfast evey morning. The parking is safe and well-lit. There is a parking fee which will be billed to your room. The internet speed for my laptop was fast. This is my choice while in Miami and needing to stay near airport. Hotel staff is fantasic! This is our second time here within a few weeks and since we cruise from Miami often (and therefore fly into Miami), we will continue to come back. Free transfers from the airport, GREAT breakfast, nice pool, good gym.

We selected this hotel because it was near the airport and had shuttles to the ship terminal. We were taking a cruise and wanted to be in the area the night before the ship left. This was a great location, and we would definitely stay there again.

Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were great, room was great, breakfast was great and as always service was outstanding.

Hotel is clean and the service is typical of Embassy Suites. Great breakfast and free drinks from 5pm to 7pm. The only restaurant within walking distance is Bennigans, so if you are looking for good sea food or a great steak, it's going to be 30 minute plus taxi ride.

Overall great experience, really enjoyed myself and loved my stay at the hotel!!!!

The hotel is located close to the airport and they do offer a shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel was nice and set up well, but it seemed as though they did not have enough staff to keep up with the number of guest staying there. My room was not made up until almost 6:00 pm. When going for breakfast, the line-up where outrageous. The line […] up to get a hot meal was over 1/2 hour. There was a charge of $13 for internet. I left my prescription pills in the room when leaving.They were never turned in.

Loved staying @ Embassy Suites. Good food @ resturant and hotel close enough for our cruise the next day. Took a short cab ride over to the port of Miami.

Very Nice place. Pleasantly surprised will return if ever in Miami.

booked the hotel room for an overnight stay via hotels .com. the room was prepaid at this time. on arrival my credit card information was retained for any service charges we checked out there were no charges i received a zero bill at the end of the stay over.only to check my credit card statement and found that t he hotel charged the card.

Hotel was okay - room was good size but thought it was a little dated and dark for my taste. The guest services were great and very helpful. Thought parking costs were high. Miami is confusing to get around and due to construction hotel was hard to find. Overall - it worked fine for one night.

Free cocktails....Great Breakfast made to order.. outstanding bed!!! I would stay there again...

as a business traveler for many yrs, nothing has compared yet to the service I received from this hotel. Top notch professionalism coupled with genuine smiles. I would recommend this facility without hesitation!

Loved every aspect of this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
