gut gelegenes Hotel, sauberes, frisch renoviertes Zimmer, für den Klappsessel ("Couch") eigentlich zu klein, seitlicher Meerblick (wenn man auf dem Balkon steht), Badezimmer- Installation und Badmöbel grenzwertig, freundliche Mitarbeiter, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Der Pool war nicht benutzbar, angeblich wegen Arbeiten (Ende April nicht so schlimm); Abwassergeruch in Eingangsbereich (vielleicht auch wegen Reparaturarbeiten). Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wir waren zufrieden.

Das Zimmer war komfortabel. Die Hotenangestellten waren sehr bemüht und aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Putzfrau nahm es nicht zu genau mit dem Reinlichkeit der Fliesen, da waren auf dem Boden noch vereinzelt Haare vom Vormieter zu sehen, daher nur 4 Punkte, dieser Mangel wurde aber nach Aufmerksammachen sofort beseitigt. Das Frühstück schlägt mit 27€ zu Buche, hält aber dem Vergleich international im 5* Niveau nicht Stand, da erwartet man etwas mehr. Das a la carte Restaurant hingegen ist wirklich erste Klasse, die Qualität der Speisen ist wirklich super. Alles in Allem muß man sagen, ein tolles Hotel und ich komme gern wieder, wenn es mich aml in die Ecke zieht.

Für diesen Preis war das OK! Hotel befindet sich nicht weit von Zentrum, zu fuß 15 Minuten, aber die merkt man nicht, weil die Natur, Architektur lenken sehr gut ab! Zimmer für 4 Personen war nicht groß, aber nicht vergessen über Anzahl der Sterne, dafür war die sauber. Wer sparen will ist das das richtige. Wir waren zufrieden. Danke Hotels.com

Hotel Beau Rivage liegt mitten in Nizza und befindet sich gleichzeitig in Strandnähe. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar: Place Massena und Jardin Albert 1er. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Promenade des Anglais und Cours Saleya.
Ausstattung
Der private Kieselstrand ist nur 30 Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Dieses Hotel im romantischen Stil verfügt über folgende gastronomische Angebote: Restaurant, Strandbar und Bar/Lounge. Ein kostenloser W-LAN-Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 4-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Konferenzraum, Technik-Helpdesk und Tagungstechnik. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Es gibt ein Menü à la carte für Mittagessen und Abendessen mit Spezialitäten wie frisch gegrilltes Fleisch oder Meeresfrüchte. Kindermenüs sind erhältlich. Es ist geöffnet von April bis Oktober mit einer Terrasse im Freien von Mai bis September.
Piano Bar – Leichte Mittagessen und Abendessen werden wie Tapas in der zeitgenössischen Umgebung dieser schicken Bar serviert, welche sich durch taupefarbene Sofas, Strandfotos und sanftes Licht auszeichnet. Es werden Cocktails, Weine und eine umfangreiche Auswahl an Whiskeys angeboten.
Restaurant de la Plage – Das Strandrestaurant ist zum Mittagessen geöffnet und bietet abends die Möglichkeit, im Freien zu speisen. Am Wochenende wird Brunch angeboten.
Gäste haben Exklusiv-Zutritt zum hoteleigenen Kieselstrand an der berühmten Promenade des Anglais.Sonnenschirme, Sonnenliegen und Handtücher werden von April bis Oktober am Strand bereitgestellt (Zutritt zum Privatstrand nur gegen Aufpreis).
In der Bucht und in ihrer Umgebung werden in den Sommermonaten zahlreiche Wassersportarten angeboten. Am an den Strand Beau Rivage angrenzenden Strand kann Sportausrüstung für Sportarten wie Jetski-Fahren und Windsurfen ausgeliehen werden.

"Das Beau Rivage ist exzellent gelegen"
Sehr gute Lage, nur eine Strasse vom Strand entfernt, direkt im Zentrum. Empfang sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Hotel allgemein sehr sauber, die Zimmer sind aber sehr klein. Leider hatte unser Zimmer kein schallisoliertes Fenster, so dass man das Gefühl hatte, mitten auf der Strasse zu sein. Ich würde trotzdem wieder hingehen und nach einem […] ruhiger gelegenen Zimmer fragen. Mehr
"Beau Rivage in Nizza direkt in Altstadt & am Meer"
Insgesamt sehr gefreuter Eindruck, sauber gehalten und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist mit unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand mit der Promenade des Anglais, Altstadt und Marché aux Fleurs perfekt. Kleiner Nachteil ist der sehr enge Eingangsbereich der Zimmer.

"1a Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis"
Wir haben 1 Woche im Hotel verbracht. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein (Doppelzimmer, Twin-Betten 5cm von einander getrennt) aber wer will an der Cotè Zeit im Zimmer verbringen also für uns war es in Ordnung. Im Juni konnte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht besser sein! 1a Lage, Privater Strand (Essen und Cocktails schlecht, freundliche Bedienung), […] Parkplatz um die Ecke, wenn man Glück hat, da er oft voll ist. Leider wurde unsere Navigationssystem aus dem Zimmer gestollen aber die Schuld tragen wir selber (für die Wertsachen gibt es ein Safe). Mehr

"Kleine Zimmer, sogar in der Superior Klasse"
In der Nebenstrasse befindet sich eine lärmige Bar, welche um 02.30 Uhr schliesst.
"Optimale Lage direkt an der Promenade"
Der Privatstrand Beau Rivage ist leider nicht exklusiv für die Hotelgäste des Beau Rivage und auch mit 19 Euro pro Tag sehr teuer.
"Super Ausgangslage...."
Das Hotel BeauRivage liegt sehr zentral. Zum Beach braucht man nur eine Strasse zu überqueren, einige Sehenswürdigkeiten & die Shoppingstrassen sind in 5min. zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal ist freundlich, jedoch nicht überschwenglich. Sehr mühsam waren die Liegen am Strand, diese sollte man unbedingt immer einen Tag vor reservieren, es war immer ein […] grosses Gedränge. Schade finde ich auch, dass die Liegen pro Tag 19Euro kosten. Diese sind im Zimmerpreis nicht inklusive. Ansonsten ist das Preisleistungsverhältniss ziemlich gut! Mehr
"Hotel gut. Sauberkeit und Service bescheiden."
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen - eine MInute zum Strand - drei Minuten vom berühmten Blumenmarkt, fünf Minuten vor der Fussgängerzone und dem Zentrum entfernt. Unsere Junior-Suite war für drei Personen ok (35m2) hat aber kein separates Zimmer und wirkt lieblos eingerichtet. Sowohl im Badezimmer als auch im Schlafbereich wirkt das Mobiliar schon arg […] belastet. Das Zimmer ist mit zwei kleinen Fenster sehr dunkel. ES war weder im Bad noch in den Kästchen sauber. Das Personal wirkt unmotiviert. Eine direkte Preisanfrage wurde nach zwei Tagen beantwortet. Schmutziges Geschirr wurde im Zimmer stehen gelassen - eine Bitte um sauberes Geschirr wurde nach DREI Mal nachfragen erfüllt - es wurden aber nicht alle Stücke ersetzt. Eine Bitte um ein zweites Fauteille in einem Dreibett-Zimmer wurde mit einem Stuhl erfüllt. Das dritte Bett war bei der Anreise nicht bereit... So fühlt man sich "nur" als geduldet und nicht willkommen. Schade, die Hotelinfrastruktur hätte einen besseren Service verdient - da ist noch reichlich Potential. Gruss Danny Mehr

The hotel is nice and clean. It is on a great location a few minutes from the beach and from the center which is really good. The most of the staff is kindly and helpful except one who was very phlegmatic and uncooperative. We had no hot water on one night and the next morning. "Hotel Beau Rivage - near perfect location in Nice!"
Stayed four nights at the Hotel Beau Rivage during Easter weekend 2012. Chose this hotel because of the location near the water, didn't imagine the location would be this good...right near old town Nice and the flower market, lovely alleyways with incredible restaurants. We had three adults in one room, which worked fine with a roll away bed. Very clean […] and comfortable, really good breakfast buffet, too. FREE internet, which was a welcome surprise! Make sure you wander through the alleys to find good food and shops, we had a wonderful time wandering. This hotel is also near the tram and bus stops at Place Massena. Easy to get to main train station from there. Took day trips to Monaco (1 Euro for bus each way), and Cannes (via train). This is a great place to stay in Nice and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the city. Mehr

I found it to be a great hotel with a great location and friendly people. They knew all of the good places to eat and see. Short walk to the beach, town center and the old port. Staff was very friendly and can speak many languages. Room was clean and tidy and very welcoming. Would recommend this hotel to anyone
"Hotel Beau Rivage Nice: Needs Improvement"
The Hotel Beau Rivage Nice is not up to four star standards, except for the price. The receptionist was rude and could not look at her clients in the face. The rooms are in desperate need of update. A paint job, and dusting goes a long way. The bathroom is not well designed. If you want to take a shower, there is no way to do so without flooding the […] bathroom floor. We stayed in this hotel only one night in December 2011 and would not go back. The one saving grace is the location. As it is situated directly between the Old City and the Commercial shopping area, and about 100m from the local market, it couldn't be in a better place. However, over all, not worth the money spent. "Hotel Beau Rivage in Nice"
An excellent Hotel with an excellent location in the hearth of the old town in Nice. If it was not for an issue we had with the hot water, we would have recommended this Hotel to others. The hot water broke down during one morning with the effect that we could not take a shower. No compensation was offered to us from the personell on this matter.

"Great Location, a little tired hotel"
The make over of Berau Rivage taht happened just a few years ago is ready to be refreshed. The odern style is excellent, but as we might expect after a couple of years it's getting tired. Just needs a bit of paint etc. Do take note, the hotel s now on the back side of teh original Beau Rivage. The beachfront structure has been converted to residences […] and the hotel is the smaller building in back. No views, but perfect location for exploring Nice. Mehr

"Great location but dirty room..."
At first glance the hotel is modern, but upon closer inspection there was visible mold on the shower wall and the tub. There was mold and someone else's hair on the counter near the sink and the drawer in the bathroom didn't stay shut. There were spots on the carpet that were wet by the bed, you felt like you didn't want to walk on the carpet with your […] bare feet. Location was great, steps to the beach-even though it was over 20 euros to sit at it and there was no half day price-you can sit on the public beach close by but know that it is a rocky beach-no sand. The staff were all very helpful, were fluent English speakers. We liked the decor and location , one block from the sea. walking distance to flower market and old town etc. However, the TV in my room did not work the first night was repaired by second. The TV in my sister's room despite several complaints never worked properly. Also there was no shampoo […] after first night. apparently hotel had run out of it. Parking is several blocks away in underground garage which was very difficult to navigate one's way out because of narrow driveway. Mehr

We couldn't have asked for a better location. Lots of restaurants and shopping up and down the street ... plus the hotel is right next to the beach boardwalk. The hotels restaurant is across the street - right on the beach. Beautiful and great food. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size for European standards. My […] only complain really was the bed. It was very uncomfortable. It slopped down really bad on both sides so we had to squeeze in the middle to keep from falling off the bed. Another thing that was a little strange is that there weren't any drawers anywhere. We had enough hanging closet space but no drawers. So I ended up piling my folded items in the small area next to the nightstand. Both of these items would be an easy fix for the hotel... New mattress and a small dresser. One final note, which applies to almost every French or Italian hotel we stayed in.... no outlet in the bathroom..... What's with that! Mehr
"Great location"
The hotel is on a great location on Veccia Venice in Nice. The place that everythings happens, so I have the covenience to be close nice restaurants, flower market,etc... you can go walk everywhere. The hotel is very nice but they charge to be on his private beach I though the guests could enjoy it with no charge. I had a good time there, my room was […] big for a french hotel. Just have no luck to the guy on reception he was very unpolite. But the others was nice people. Mehr

Both my husband , who travels & stays in 5 star hotels, booked last minute and came across Beau Rivage. We were very impressed with this boutique type hotel. Great location to centre ville, a step away to lots of restaurants & block away from beach. The beds were so comfortable, conceirge staff provided superior customer service ~ they were very trustworthy […] of us when we borrowed a converter for our blackberry; very accommodating with our requests, very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. I will definitely recommend this Hotel!! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Mehr

"Excellent position for the markets & waterfront"
Lovely hotel - went there for a girls holiday, twin beds were pushed together, wasn't any room to have them apart though. we were good friends so didn't matter to much.not much room to have two suitcases, but a good size bathroom. Very clean. only down side, on the first day rang to request room service, were asked what we wanted (Fries) to be told […] there is no room service! there are plenty of places to eat and small supermarkets - but you HAVE to go to the Street Markets! A-Mazing! from flavored sugar to pastries, to flowers, to meats, I could go on... fresh fruit was excellent to pick up for breakfast when you're sightseeing. Mehr

"Beau Rivage - Great for an introduction to Nice"
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Beau Rivage. The hotel was clean and convenient to Old Town Nice, and the employees were very helpful. The only drawback that we found was that it appeared from the website that private beach access was included with a room, but there is only a slight discount. We went to the private beach once and then just walked down […] 100 yards to the public beach the next time. Overall, though, we would definitely stay here again. Mehr

Loved our stay here. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful (not always the case in France!) and the room clean and comfortable. Location was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the brunch on the the hotels beach! We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is pretty low key but in an ideal spot in nice. Has its own beach area which is nice. Don't go for the breakfast because it simply isn't good or worth it. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff was great..

This was a great hotel, with a fantastic location across the street from the Sea. Very modern. The hotel staff were awesome. We arrived way early, and they made sure we could get into our room early. That was so helpful, as we were tired travelers and ready to crash. Furthermore, they were kind about storing our luggage for several additional hours […] after check out. we had to change rooms four times. 1st room, the TV didn't work. The 2nd room the A/C didn't work. The 3rd room was so small one person had to stay on the bed so the other one could get to the other side of the room. the 4th room didn't have sound proof windows even though they said they were.

It was a great newly renoveated hotel just steps from Old Town Nice. Easy walk to restaurants, markets, beach and historical sites.

Stayed here a few times and got a room upgrade which was lovely as standard rooms can be a tad small but with so much on your doorstop you don't stay at this hotel to sit in your room! Service was good though why champagne bucket and soiled glasses not removed by housekeeping still a puzzle. This however was the only problem we had. Use the slippers […] provided as the carpet in the room was a bit grubby looking but the room itself was more than adequate cleanliness wise. Would I recommend you stay? Oh Yes... Mehr
"Perfect spot"
We loved this hotel. We booked two rooms, a double and triple, full breakfast included, close to everything. Stayed two nights, then two nights in avignon, and two more nights here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. From here you can walk to the old town, the place Messina, Jean medicine, the beach in one block although we were here in December, […] still nice for walking.
