This was the perfect hotel for our one night stop in Kansas City. It was near several sites we wanted to visit. Close to highways and restaurants. The room was clean and the hotel staff friendly and professional at all times. I would highly recommend this place and I would stay there again.

My husband and I were traveling from Minnesota and got a flat tire there. We were still able to check in to the hotel even though we arrived at 2am instead of 10pm. The service at the front desk was pleasant, but when we were given our room, it had not been cleaned. The bed was not made and there was visible garbage form the last occupant. That was […] the last thing we wanted after a 6 hour rushed drive! The fire alarm also went off at around 8am, though no one at the front desk offered an apology or explanation for it when we checked out. I do not think I'll be going back to this hotel. Mehr

We got to the Hotel at 2pm and they would not let us get into our room till 3pm. check in time is 3pm and your room is not ready. Noise was at a low level . We used it as a week-end get away. BUT house keeping knocked on the door @ 8:30 am on a SAT. :( Then after we said we did not need anything they came into the room after we left for the day. Moved […] a lot of things around. When we got back to the Hotel our keys would not work, We had to walk all the around the building for OOPS our bad sorry about the key . Then we went to the pool to find no towel ( the sign in room said towel's would be at the pool.) OOPS our bad sorry about the Towel's. Well OOPS your bad we have to many other Hotels to choose from and will not be back to that one Mehr

Very pleased with the breakfast! So many choices! So easy to just stay in for breakfast. I have several picky eaters and going out is usually a hassle. The Fairfield had a huge selection and everyone was pleased!

The Fairfeild Inn is located just off of the freeway, and in a location that was close to lots of restaurants and shopping as well as the reason that we were visiting the area (my daughter). The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable ~ a small refridgerator as well as a microwave ~ all things we look for in a weekend stay. Very Happy and will […] return. Mehr

Great hotel. good value

It was a nice place to stay. No issues during our stay. The continental breakfast had a good variety.

Very nice for the price and surrounding competition. The staff are friendly. The food is good. The noise is quiet. Nice place to stay b ut like to see the price a little less expensive.

We were visiting Worlds of Fun; Oceans of Fun and KC Zoo and we were staying two nights in the hotel. Hotel was very clean and complementary breakfest was great. Room was clean and small. Two beads standard queens look like two tween size beds. Front desk people were not very pleasent. One day couldn't open side door with key card and had to walk around […] to main enterance. Front desk guy did not know why my key card wouldn't open side door. This place is ok to stay if you cannot find better place for same money. Mehr

Not the best hotel in the world but it did the job. Would say your average hotel.

Very clean, comfortable spacious room. They thought of everything you needed. I would come back anytime.

I booked this hotel because of my experience with other Fairfield Inn hotels in other locations. This one was not as nice. The room was small, especially for the price, and the bathroom was so small you literally had to squeeze your way in if you wanted to shut the door without scraping yourself. There was some dirt and hair on the bathroom floor. The […] bed was uncomfortable, the blanket and the walls were both entirely too thin, and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. There are other, undoubtedly nicer, hotels in the neighborhood. Stay at one of them instead. Alternately, the staff was very nice. Mehr

From the exterior the hotel looks a little dated but it is not that way on the inside at all. The hotel is very nicely updated and has an outstanding pool area which is one of the main factors on us selecting a hotel. Very clean rooms, nice/huge breakfast area and a great staff. We arrived around noon and I thought I may need to kill a couple of hours […] before checking in but to my surprise they got us into a room right away. This hotel is also walking distance to Walmart and a ton of resturants. Outstanding location and hotel. Mehr

Most everything about the hotel was great. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms, very helpful staff, and a convenient locale. My only objection was that this hotel is right beside the interstate and the rooms were not as insulated as I had hoped. I woke up a few times at night from the sound. The hotel was very clean and the rooms comfortable. Convenient to shopping centers and highway entrance. The staff was very pleasant. We will be returning to this hotel in May 2011.

I must admit this was the first hotel room I ever stayed in that didn't have a closet. There was just an armoire crammed next to the TV. The bathroom was so small, I had to shower with the door open or else I would have had to stand on the toilet in order to close the door. The shower was pretty grimy. Seriously, how cheap is caulk? Use it! Not sure […] what was up with the A/C. I couldn't get it to cool to the right temperature. I definitely didnt appreciate the dead spider on the wall or the stained desk chair. In this day and age, why is there still green carpet in hotel rooms? I did learn one thing though, once you've stayed in nice hotels, you can't go back to these rinky dink ones. I overspent for this cardboard box. Mehr
