In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Viele Busse mit Touristen für eine Nacht. Nicht zu empfehlen. Kein Strand am Hotel. Pool eher schlecht und nicht beheizt. Personal unfreundlich. Im Hotel riecht es muffig/modrig. Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe. Keine Renovierung seit dem Bau des Hotels. Klimaanlagen funktionieren teilweise nicht. Vermehrt Müllberge auf […] den Straßen vor dem Hotel. Hier werden nur die Touristen durchgeschleust, weil es scheinbar keine anderen vernünftigen Hotels in der Nähe der "Ausgrabungsstätten / Tal der Könige" gibt. Die Zimmer des Hotels sind in einem tadellosen Zustand, etwas spießig eingerichtet. Der Zimmerservice sehr gut. Leider sind alle Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Man hört alle Geräusche aus den benachbarten Zimmer, selbst leise Gespräche. Dieses ist umso schlimmer, als dieses Hotel regelmäßig von Bustouristen angesteuert wird. Dann fallen zum Teil Nachts zwei […] Busladungen mit Touristen in das Hotel ein und für die darauffolgenden Stunden ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für ein 4-Sterne Hotel recht armseelig, insbesondere wenn die Bustouristen im Hause sind. Dann ist das Personal im Restaurant unterbesetzt und es dauert sehr lange bis das Buffet wieder aufgefüllt wird. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Liegen, Sonnenschirme und Handtücher gibt es gratis. Leider gibt es keinen Strand. Hier ist man auf einen Wagen angewiesen. Die Lage ist mittelmäßig. Siehe auch über google-maps. Schön ist die direkte Lage am Meer, die Zimmer haben (wenn überhaupt) aber nur seitlichen Meerblick. Im Mai ist der Hotelpool noch geschlossen.

Lage zum Tal der Tempel ist sehr gut. Hotel war anscheinend noch nicht auf Saisonbeginn mit Urlaubsreisenden vorbereitet und mehr mit der Ausrichtung von Hochzeiten und Firmenveranstaltungen beschäftigt. Bar- und Restaurantpersonal war daher nicht immer präsent. Das Restaurantangebot ist begrenzt, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht gut. San Leone und das Hotel sind gut erreichbar mit dem Auto, ein Hotel eigener Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend möbliert und geben den Blick zum Meer und auf den Pool frei. sehr angenehmes, gutes Hotel mit großem Pool. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht. Zimmer unbedingt zur Meerseite buchen. Zimmer zur Strassenseite sind doch laut (Tankstelle!!).

The hotel was very comfortable - situated in a prime location in San Leone, near the beach, close to restaurants and only 10 minutes by car to the Valley of the Temples. Our superior room was very clean, well equipped and spacious; fortunately situated on the top floor on the West side of the hotel, where the panoramic view from the balcony was stunning […] - across the pool, over the bay and up to Agrigento and the Temples. Although the walls were quite thin, it was quiet, but certainly rooms on all other sides of the building would have been much noisier. The pool area was superb. The staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were very helpful. However the public areas were rather impersonal, catering for large numbers of coach parties that use the hotel at this time of year, and the breakfast was a rather mediocre cold buffet. Also, the staff in the breakfast area seemed rather miserable. Given its ideal location and the need for quality hotels in the area we felt that there was great potential for making this hotel even better! Mehr

Pool is the only saving grace. Front desk clerk needs to smile. If booking on this site, please note that the Room will be poor, they worst one overlooking the post office. Very very loud hallways.

Initially I was very disappointed as I was allocated a room with a sliding door/window that opened only on to an internal corridor. There was no external light coming into the room. After complaining I was eventually allocated a better room, but as the hotel was fully booked, I assume someone else had to suffer!

We chose Dioscuri Bay Palace because we were only staying one night and it was so reasonably priced, so we were not expecting anything grand. We were surprised to find it was better than expected, situated out of city of Agrigento at San Leone Beach, fairly remote unless you have a car. Good value for money. Good quality hotel, friendly and helpful,staff, well located close to seaside and relatively easy to reach without having to deal with traffic snarls of most Sicilian cities. Approx 3 km from major tourist attraction, so own car is useful.

Great place to stay with nice pool, although I found it a bit tacky that they charge 2 Euros for towels. As with most hotels in Sicily, there is no concierge, so you should do your site research beforehand. Room was clean, location is by the beach which is littered, but that seems to be the case in Agrigento. I would recommend the hotel.

We had a room with a beautiful view of the beach. Some good restaurants and cafes on the beachfront. The bus-stop is not far from the hotel which takes you to Agrigento town and to the temples.

Hvis man liker å se utover havet, er dette hotellet utmerket. Hotellet har også gratis parkeringsplass, gratis internett (både i rommet og i fellesområdene) og frokost inkludert. Denne frokosten består riktignok ikke av annet enn hvitt brød (nærmest boller) med syltetøy og salami, eventuelt corn flakes. Rommene har balkong. Det eneste problemet vi merket, […] var de tynne veggene, som innebar at vi kunne høre hva de snakket om i naborommet. Er man uheldig og havner ved siden av noen som liker å feste om natten, kan det bli vanskelig å sove her. Et annet problem, som ikke er særegent for dette hotellet, men nærmest gjelder hele Sicilia, er alt søppelet i gatene og på stranden. Det er flott å bo tett inntil havet, men her må man godta at det ligger plasflasker, blikkbokser og annet skrot i vannkanten. Mehr

Hotel in a great position pity the personnel is useless and rude! When we arrived at 3 pm in the afternoon with my parents and my husband the receptionist checked us in and gave us the rooms keys to discover that ours was not clean. We went back to reception where the guy said the room would have been ready in 10 mins( does it really take 10 mins to […] clean a full on suite room?) we asked for another room they said there was none available ( hotel was empty and it has over 100 rooms!) The receptionist then suggested we go to the swimming pool and they will take the luggage up to the room.My husband went up to the room a couple of hours later to find out the suitcases were still at reception! On our check out the next day they could not find my parents ID cards which was quite upsetting as we arrived on the island by plane and ID are required to travel: they then found them under a different room number.They did not apologize they looked at us with a pretentious and horrible attitude and they lift their shoulder in an uncaring manner to suggest they did not mind if we were stressed or upset. The overall attitude was absolutely unacceptable from a hotel which is part of best western and accredited with 4 stars! I have travelled around the world and cannot believe I have been treated worst in my own country! Mehr

L'albergo merita le quattro stelle soprattutto per la struttura interna molto curata, pulita, ben climatizzata anche negli spazi comuni non solo nelle stanze. Ben curate e pulite anche le stanze con un'unica pecca riguardo all'insonorizzazione. Tutto va bene se non si hanno dei vicini chiacchieroni o peggio ancora(come e' capitato a noi) in vena di […] serata hard. Il personale e' sempre cortese e disponibile in modo particolare la S.ra Viola alla sala colazione sempre attenta anche a consigliare le varie escursioni nei dintorni. Altra pecca purtroppo la colazione tristemente ripetitiva soprattutto per lunghi soggiorni. Molto bella la piscina e ben curata con vista mare. Altro punto deludente la spiaggia; convinti dalle foto che ritraggono l'albergo con il mare sullo sfondo pensavamo di trovare di fronte all'albergo la spiaggia ed invece abbiamo trovato una squallidissima foce di un fiume da una parte e dall'altra un porticciolo con un insopportabile odore tutto il giorno e la notte. Ci fosse almeno una convenzione con le vicine spiagge attrezzate di S.Leone!! Buona comunque la posizione dell'hotel e soprattutto strategica per raggiungere la vicinissima valle dei templi, la citta' e le tante bellissime spiagge attrezzate e non (giallonardo, oasi torre salsa ecc.) e a due passi dalla zona pedonale della deludente San Leone. Ultima nota positiva il buon ed economico ristorante dell'albergo ma anche l'ottimo ristorantino - pizzeria "Marco Polo" proprio di fronte all'albergo. Mehr

hotel situé juste en dessous de agrigente trés commode en voiture à 5min de la vallée des temples et 10min du centre ville, facile à trouver et bien situé en bord de mer, grande piscine avec vu sur la mer turquoise (les vagues de la mer venant échoir sur le mur, tout simplement magnifique), chambre trés belle et baignoire dans la salle de bain, balcon […] (seul hic la vue du notre donnait sur un arbre), petit déjeuner buffet trés satisfaisant (beaucoup de choix : salé, sucré, fruit, suel hic comme dans tous les hotels le js de fruit n'est pas terrible), le soir petite ballade avec marché en bord de mer, faites y étapes !!! Lo staff è molto gentile, Ho avuto un problema con la macchina lo staff si è reso disponibile ed ho risolto il problema. Con 10 euro di taxi si arriva alla valle dei templi e la sera vicino ci sono buoni ristoranti dove mangiare pesce.

Ottima posizione e facilmente individuabile. Si raggiunge Agrigento con un'unica strada rettilinea, con in mezzo la splendida Valle dei Templi. Peccato per la poca cura della prima colazione, sembra di stare in un self service! Non si addice alle qualità dell'hotel.

E' andato tutto ottimamente. Abbiamo trascorso io e mio marito due notti all'hotel DIOSCURI di Agrigento per poter visitare in tutta tranquillità la valle dei Templi. L'hotel e' comodissimo come posizione, all'inizio della passeggiata a mare con numerosi ristoranti e negozi ed a circa due km dal sito archeologico. Hotel molto bello, curato, pulito, […] con una bellissima piscina che si affaccia sul mare. Nota negativa: la nostra camera non disponeva di balcone, a differenza di altre, ma solo di una veranda chiusa, dove in caso di prolungato soggiorno diventa un problema poter stendere anche solo un asciugamano.Il ristorante non e' eccezionale, poca scelta e abbastanza caro. Ottima la colazione. Ma come giudizio eccellente. Mehr
