Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Der Flughafen liegt nur 6 Meilen (10 Kilometer) westlich vom Stadtzentrum von Miami und befindet sich neben dem Geschäfts- und Wohnviertel von Coral Gables. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man die Geschäfte von Coconut Grove. Auf dem geschäftigen Flughafengelände befinden sich eine Kunstgalerie, zahlreiche Duty-Free-Shops und ein komfortables Hotel.

Das Hotel bietet alles, was für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt wichtig ist. Das einzigste, was verbesserungsfähig ist, sind die Preise fürs Internet und Parken. Ansonsten sehr gut

wir waren die letzten 3 Tage in diesem Hotel. ca. 20 minuten vom Flughafen und trotzdem ruhig. die Anlage ist umgeben von einem sehr gepflegten Golfplatz . in 2008 haben wir duch zufall auch ein größeres golfturnier beobachtet. anlage sehr gepflegt und sauber. zimmer sehr gross und meisst mit blick auf den golfplatz. in der nähe sind sehr vile restaurants […] und ein e sehr gute outlet mall (dolphin-mall). eine tolle Swimmingpoolanlage mit 2 großen in Palmen eingebetteten Pools. der einzige nachteil: ab 2009 12 dollar /tag parkplatzgebühr oder valet parking ( noch teurer) und der parkplatz ist ca. 5-10 minuten entfernt von der Lodge! - Bei Ankunft half uns niemand, unser Gepäck auf unser Zimmer zu bringen - Dann war die ganze Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes ein Lift außer Betrieb - Einige Zimmer an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße gelegen und sehr laut - um 16.00 um Babybett gebeten, erhalten um 23.00 Uhr nach dreimaligem Nachfragen erhalten - Hotelanlage sehr weitläufig, wir benötigten ein […] Shuttle zum Frühstück und zur Repzeption, auf das wir jedesmal 20 Minuten warteten, für Gehbehinderte eher ungeeignet - Frühstücksbuffet gut, das andere Essen amerikanisch und mittelmäßig - Golfplatz sehr schön - Poolanlage eher mittelmäßig - A/C im gesamten Hotel sehr kalt eingestellt - Im Spa Komplex Versprühung von Zimmerdüften in den Hotelzimmern, die nicht jedermanns Geschmack sind - Hotelanlage und Zimmer jedoch sehr schön und sauber Mehr

Mr thrifty treating myself to a little something special. No con's only this place was so nice i should of rented a luxury car. Rm was great! GYM the best i ever seen in a hotel. rooms have no insulation in walls, you get to enjoy your neighbors. Food service was poor and food quality was pedestrian. Two nice golf courses and spa but overpriced. Pass on the Doral

Charge for parking and very inconvenient to get into and out of lot, which was far from room. Also fee for internet. I did not use any of the facilities and did not have a good view of the grounds, so this was not a good choice for me.
"Very nice hotel."
This was a very nice hotel. Not too expensive and clean. There are many cool features like 5-6 restaurants and a great workout facility and bar/lounge. I would stay here again on my next trip to Miami. I was there for the Orange Bowl and it was a perfect stay. Of course WVU beat Clemson 70-33 so I was even happier.

Nice hotel. Insuffucient self parking which costs $12 per day. The maid didn't do the rooms twice out of 4 days. Only one cup of coffee was available per day for the in-room coffee maker.

Excellent stay! Gorgeous resort! From the moment we checked in the staff was top notch professional and efficient. Super busy season with two tournaments going on but check in was quick and flawless. Campus is easy to navigate through, no troubles finding our lodge. The room, bathroom and closet were all very spacious. Floor plan was well thought out […] which is nice. The resort had beautiful dining rooms, great food (a little pricy but worth it) and amazing drinks. We were a big fan of “juice of the gods” drink at the pool bar. The pool area was great! There are two main pools, a hot tub under the waterfall and a water slide! Starbucks located inside the hotel! Also the hotel is also in a nice location very central to anything you could need outside of the resort. People complained about food prices, but it’s a high caliber resort you’re not going to get fast food here. Plus if you’re resourceful like our neighbors just order a pizza from outside, they deliver. Overall we LOVED this resort and will be the place we stay every time we visit Miami. Mehr

This is a good hotel for the people who like to play golf. The rooms are away from the hotel main lobby. They charged me for parking and internet while they were not mentioned in the website.

"Nice hotel, but parking is no fun."
This is a great hotel if your only focus is golfing. Since I don't golf, I will probably never go back. The parking was a pain. If you self park there is only one parking lot ( that you have to pay for) which is not located at the building you are staying at. One of the nights we were there, they were having a party or wedding or something in which […] the self parking was full. They wanted me to valet park, which I didn't want to pay for so I ended up having words with the parking supervisor(?). All worked out but it was frustrating. The hotel could use some upgrades to the rooms and elevators. The prices for food were outrageous. The breakfast buffet was very expensive (we only did that once). The beds were very comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. Mehr
The Blue Monster course is way over priced but well maintained; the golf course staff are top notch; spa services are also overpriced but adequate and the spa facilities are very nice

"Great Hotel"
First time in the Miami area and this was a great place to start. Room was bigger than the picture. Room service was great and fast. Front desk sent someone to my room to help with luggage and to bring me new keys when mine didnt work. A+

"Doral resort Miami"
The stay at Doral was a nice experience, one thing that bothers me is the fact that while i paid full price to play the Blue Monster course i only was able to play 14 holes due darkness. There was nobody in the staff to offer any help. Olso i could not get a room to stay anhother nite.

Fot its great location I could move to the surrounding areas easy and fast. Besides that, its beautifull golf course gives to it a great peacefull environment and armony.

"All around perfect hotel"
I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Florida and this was by far the best hotel, The grounds , room and facilities were clean and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff went out of there way as much as they did. Great variety of pools and fun for all. Food in restaurants great too.Will definitely return

The hotel should off free internet access, parking and breakfast. All these services are extremelly expensive.

"Rest & Relaxation"
I visited this hotel to rest and relax after a very busy season at work. I was able to play tennis, swim in a lovely pool, and relax in my room as needed. The staff was very friendly and quick to service my needs, especially room service and the restaurant with th =e breakfast buffet. "wheelchair assesable room"
my room was very assesable for me being in a wheelchair. i had a problem getting to the fitness room. also someone need to set on the pull down bench in the shower because it is to close to the wall. the mirror in the bath was two high that i could see my self. overall my stay was very nice and the service was extremly nice. Identifying the parking area in the middle of the night, for the first visit, was confusing and inconvenient as it was dark and several steps along the way to drag your luggage. May want to consider better lighting for signs and ramps vs steps.

Badly in need of a several million dollar renovation! The adult pool and hot tub were in terrible disrepair. Crumbling and dirty so much so that they should have just put up yellow caution tape and closed it completely...yuk. Excellent service. The Hotel is an older resort but the service and the people make up for it. Excellent service in the restaurants and with the rest of the staff. Will go back again. The Spa was fabulous would recommend to do this as soon as you get in. They have great specials and the people are wonderful. Excellent time.

"Family Trip"
I stayed Marriott Doral for the first time with my family expecting a bit more. Our disappointment stem from the lack of adequate parking and overall layout of property. I expected to play a couple rounds of golf there , but found out that in order to do that, you would need to reserve your tee time well in advance. Drinks are overpriced @ $30 for two […] piña coladas. They could also improve the gaming activity and pool area as well as bedding. Mehr

I was rather disappointed with this Marriott's room cleaning service and also their customer service response to my issues. An item of mine was noticed missing after the cleaning lady was finished and I have yet to get a satisfactory response from the staff. Very disappointed.
