This was a nice hotel, no complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

In town for business, hotel room was very quiet, very clean and very comfortable. I had to contact the Hotel to get directions, due to getting myself lost in DC. Staff gave great directions and I was resting in my romm less than an hour later. I was not impressed with the resturant, expensive and food quality soso. Convenience, Comfort, Cleaniness and great location.

This was a good choice of hotel for a visit to Washington DC. We had a car so needed a hotel with parking. This was easy to get to from the Capital Beltway (I 95). Washington is a short metro ride away. The hotel provides a shuttle to Eisenhower metro station but it is also walkable. We were at the White House within half an hour. The rooms at the hotel […] are big, clean and nicely decorated. Only downside was the interconnecting door between our room and next door. We could hear them talking. Other than that it was great. I absolutely love this hotel. It was very nice from the outside and inside. Very affordable for the location. The rooms were very clean, the staff was excellent, everything was absolutely perfect during my stay.

I was looking for a place that I could get some rest, do some work and have a nice meal......got all three!! The location is right off the beltway, but you could not hear one tire screech. The staff are awesome and very attentive. I will be back.

Nice location and great lobby, room was very nice and great customer service.

We have stayed at this facility probably 7 or 8 times in the past 10 years. We were one of about 10 rooms filled on Thursday night.....not a good sign. The weekend it doubled.....the word is out obviously. I'm spoiled and find a pool and hot tub basic requirements. None were there. Advertising for Free Breaksfast should not mean FOR ONE PERSON ! The […] staff recinded but it took fenessing the issue. The last time I had such a cold shower was in Haiti. As a 3 star hotel there had to be quite a bit of rounding up. I really enjoy myself everytime I stay at this hotel. The king size bed is so comfortable and I luv the balcony.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff excellent, will do anything to assist you! Room very comfortable. Interior of hotel lobby and rooms contemporary. Looked recently updated. Can walk to metro in 5 minutes. Good restaurants moments away. Right near metro or can go a few miles into old Alaxandria for many more. A fab Whole Foods Market is about 2 miles away. Only […] down side to hotel is that the hotel restaurant is only good to have a snack at not a great meal. However, they will make you a great cup of Starbucks coffee even with steamed milk! Mehr

The location of this hotel was very close to our son's apartment and ease of access was good. Our only complaint was that the restaurant and lounge were closed except for breakfast due to low census over the Thanksgiving Day holiday. We were not told this until the Monday after the weekend making it very frustrating. my only complaint is 6 days later charges still pending on my card as temporary authorization,instead of finalizing the charge.

The hotel suited our needs for a one night stay. Tasteful, clean, comfortable bed. Only negative things were-- water was not hot enough for early morning shower and the iron was corroded and marked a shirt..

Great place to stay. You can walk to the metro,and very close to Old Town Alexandria.Starbucks right up the street or great coffee at the hotel. The staff is very nice and great to chat with!!!!

There was a problem with the heat in our room, but once informed about the problem, it was addressed and we were moved to another room on the same floor which we were well pleased with.

After spending a week at a Fairfield Inn and Suites in Germantown that was clean, and conveniently located to stores and restuarants I was excited to spend a weekend at the Courtyard in Alexandria. The hote is not in a convenient location. The room we were put in on the 3rd floor was cold, drafty and had a hole in the ceiling above the window. There […] was a group of rowdy, obnoxious college kids that ran up and down our hallway shouting, laughing, and banging on eachother's doors. After calling the front desk they offered to move us to the 7th flooor. When going for keys for the new room I was rudely ignored by the person at the front desk as he ran around taking care of everyone else but me. Finally a different desk person arrived. When we got into the quieter room, we were sorely disappointed to find that the room had no microwave or fridge. We took a shuttle to the metro to see the sights but sat waiting for the return shuttle for over a half hour in the freezing cold. Do not stay here!!! Mehr

for the group of rowdy bus tour/college? kids shouting and running up and down the halls till 4AM!! One guy at the front desk in the morning tried to get his room comped, the "Supervisor" balked at that and offered to ask the manager for 1/2....I hope he got it! I wasn't paying for my room, so it wasn't worth the hassle, I just ended up working on little […] sleep. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel often, it's right across the road from my office, and this is my first bad experience there. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet hotel. Rooms were clean, parking was free and the breakfast at The Bistro in the morning was convienent. Double bed was a little small for two. Hotle is 20 min from Downtown DC and 20 min from Mount Vernon. Worked well with our schedule.

I was only 5-10 from my little brothers wedding and when I reach the hotel it was late I was tired and check in was fast which I liked. Leaving the room in the morning and check was a no hassle I would stay again.

Great hotel convenient to King Street. Hotel staff exemplary in service.

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott was fantatic. The room was very clean and comfortable. Marriott is the only place I stay when traveling. There is nothing you all need to change.

It was a fine room as was expected from Marriott. The staff was kind and very helpful. The Metro was very close and had a parking lot right next door or hotel shuttle.

The Hotel is very convenient if you're going to DC, the metro is very accessible and the hotel offers free shuttle. The restaurant is good. The only thing is there's no swimming pool but it don't really matter because you're too tired to swim anyway, if i we need to go back to DC i would stay in Marriot again!!

The location and price make this a hotel a very good value. Front desk was always busy, but they were responsive.

Not too critical of them, only for the the lack of a refrigerator and a microwave. Also for the "incidental charges." (like they don't trust us or something!) Just a little heads-up- if you're not using a major credit card for the "incidentals," cash is required (or a debit card; you'll get reimbursed in a few days). If none of that is a big deal to […] you, then by all means stay here! It's convenient to many places, even if the endless Beltway construction gets to be a bit much. If you're taking the Metro subway, drive to the Huntington station. I think there's a shuttle to the Eisenhower Ave. station; check at the front desk. Overall, I'd recommend it. Mehr

The room was great, as one would expect at a Marriott Hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I went down to the front desk the first night to get something for an upset stomach. With all the new road construction going on, you may find it hard to actually get to the hotel. You can clearly see it from the highway but can't get there. Otherwise, an Okay stay.
