Super ausblick auf den bosperus, SUPER Service. Lage für Istanbul zu weit außerhalb, da man spontan fussläufig nichts erreichen kann und der Straßenverkehr ständig brachliegt.

Etwas am Rande der Altstadt gelegen, dafür einigermassen ruhig und (je nach Zimmer) mit schöner Sicht auf Bosporus und die Minarette der antiken Stadt. Für die Zu- und Wegfahrt ist man fast auf ein Auto oder Taxi angewiesen -- es sei denn, man macht sich zu Fuss auf den Weg, was aber in Anbetracht des rasenden Verkehrs gefährlich sein kann. Schöne Wellness-Anlage, […] jedoch (wie in islam. Ländern üblich) nach Geschlechtern getrennt. Frühstück- und ev. Abendbuffet sind im Zimmerpreis nicht enthalten und werden mit 30 resp. 42 Euro pro Person extra berechnet. Dafür hat man eine herrliche Auswahl im schön gelegenen Restaurant mit Aussichtsterrasse. Das Restaurant im obersten Stock hält nicht ganz, was es verspricht. Das Essen wird schön angerichtet, ist aber teuer und hat wenig Geschmack. Mehr

Hotel Aussenansicht ist ein klassischer Bunker Preis für Zimmer sehr teuer. Preise im Rest sehr hoch. Qualiät ist auch sehr gut. Servicepersonal sehr gut!

Leider ist das sehr gute Hotel ein "wenig" abgelegen. Wenn man am Abend zurück will, muss man immer das Taxi nehmen. Ich hatte drei erfolglose Versuche, da es für die Taxis wieder zu wenig weit weg war, und sie dadurch ein bisschen weniger verdienten. Sonst ist alles sehr 5 Sterne mässig. Ich bin nun schon zum zweitenmal hier gewesen.

User Zimmer war nicht das Beste im Hotel, dennoch gut genug. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage zu Sehenswuerdigkeiten und zum Bosporos

Schönes Hotel, besonders das Spa und Poolbereich ist herausragend! Service hat sich wirklich sehr um alles bemüht und auch umgesetzt! kein langes Warten, das geht nciht oder so - einfach gut!

The hotel was amazing, the apartment is very modern and we had a nice viwe of the Bosphorus sea , and also the location of the hotel is perfect and easy to get to the popular areas in Istanbul.

Excellent journey. I would recommand this choice to all my friends. At the reception we were upgraded on proposition of the staff, they were very friendly and very helpfull with consistent advices. Can't get enough of Istanbul.

Great hotel, location, amazing spa and gym with classes and Reformer Pilates. The little touches make you feel very comfortable and at home like Turkish Delight treats at your turndown service, bathrooms have everything you need, extent of Q-tips cotton pads, nail file, mouthwash (shavers, shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste if requested). Food everywhere […] in Turkey is delicious mediterranean and fresh. Would love to stay here again! Last thing we just spent the 2013 new year there and they definitely hosted a great evening on the heights of the city bar and restaurant. but be ready to pay the price as things add up quickly! Be sure to have a traditional Turkish Hammam. Its a great experience! Mehr

Excellent swimming pool and spa. Very good view over the Bosphoros.Well run with good sevices and staff. Services and meals are expensive but good quality food and character can be found in local cafes at better vfm.

Enjoyed our stay. Great service, nice property, wonderful breakfast and amenities. Lighting at the property however leaves a lot to be desired. Design gone wild putting looks over function. Otherwise this was a great property and we had a great stay. The staff and the service were impeccable.

This hotel runs like clockwork with an abundance of properly trained staff in all areas from doormen, concierge,restaurants to pool area. The standard rooms are spacious and comfortable and many have excellent views of the Bospherous. The bathroom was large and had all mod cons but maybe not ultra modern. A coffee machine is provided but a slight downside […] is that the pods for it are charged as a mini bar item! We ate in the Cafe Suisse restaurant on two evenings and found the buffet option to be varied and good value, with the outside veranda offering fabulous views. Security is tight with boot and undercar searches for every vehicle and a body scanner in the front entrance. Good english waas spoken by the reception and concierge staff who were very helpful in booking trips and providing information. Would definitely book this hotel again! Mehr

Lack of guests, meant there was not as much atmosphere as expected (compared to say, Hilton which we visited). However my wife and I had a fine 6 days in early September in a very good deal which included a lovely breakfast (otherwise pricey) and Executive Lounge. The latter gave us superb views over the Bosphorus, excellent service including fast check-in, […] free papers and free drink and food at certain times. This was slightly offset by an unexpected number of young (mainly M Eastern) children, often too noisy and not able to be corrected by nannies. This at times also meant getting onto the single PC was impossible as children were playing games thereon. The room was fine though some bathroom equipment was rather dated. We did have a bathroom leak from above coming through the lighting on our last day, requiring a room change but this was handled briskly. In fact the best feature throughout was the staff. Almost all very keen to help, always available and friendly with good English (not necessarily the case at the Hilton at dinner).Location meant taxis needed a lot but their cost was effectively controlled by the hotel's front staff, Shame not to give 5 stars for such wonderful staff but the other aspects above explain why. Given the Executive lounge, we would recommend the hotel thoroughly. As a footnote, we feel the critical comments below should have been addressed on this site by the hotel management which incidentally, was not much in evidence during our 6 days. Mehr

In short this hotel has the best views of Istanbul. Great service. But some minor changes can make the stay perfect, renovation of the rooms with newer furniture. We requested an extra blanket, and the quality of the blanket they gave was of very low quality, a quilt or comforter would have been a better option to maintain the greatness of our visit. […] Also we had dinner at the Gaja Roof restaurant because of its reviews and we were stunned with the setting and views but I was hoping to eat an amazing meal for the almost $100 per person without the drinks, yes it expensive, I must say the seafood soup was great as well as the deserts, but the main course was normal since I had high expectations, nevertheless, Swiss Hotel is a great hotel and it's garden is sttunning. Great hotel, beautiful and comfortable room, delicious food! The spa is simply to die for! My husband and i went to the hammam, a must do during your stay, got massages and facials! The massage was divine, the rooms very peaceful, the swimming pools just excellent, especially after a long day of touring around istanbul! We had dinner at their rooftop […] hotel, another must do! not only great food but amazing view! The location is ok, close to nisantasi where you have great restaurants, but need to take cab there. Not necessarily close to night scene, but id stay here again just for the spa! Mehr

In general a nice hotel. Check in and check out staff are notorious in making mistakes! However, overall facility is nice. The rooms need renewal as furniture is extremely old and bathrooms a bit old as well. Excellent location, beautiful views and very nice lobby. The terrace on the 16th floor is out of this world. The hotel is very nice overall. The lobby is quite good, there are excelent views from the rooms and the restaurants are also good. The condition of the room itself is not bad, but i must say that the bathroom is not in a good condition and needs to be refurbushed. Everything else is up to the Swissotel standarts.

Incredible hotel- we were upgraded to a suite without asking because they were out of non smoking rooms. The spa was really incredible, heated pool, work-out facility, steam, sauna etc... Room was clean and very comfortable, the view was spectacular! Amazing buffet lunch. All round terrific service. Great location. Highly recommend Swissotel!

Hotel location is great, most rooms are located very nicely with sea view, breakfast bufee is excellent. The SPA is v good. One thing is not acceptable- and I have clearly mentioned this at reception desk when check out- and that is the room air conditioning status, it is not adjustable to one's comfort conditions.

This our last stay in this hotel, we used to love the hotel and comfort of the rooms, but quality and maintenance of the rooms is coming down.
