Ramada Inn - Antioch

Terrible!!! Super noise outside in the parking lot until 4AM. Promised "quiet" room not ready when we checked in officially at 4:30PM, so settled for another room that proved to be the noise capital of the world.

The beds were not comfortable I barely got any sleep that night. Some random person knocked on my door in the middle of the night. The shower was not the best and the hairdryer did not work.

My room faced the freeway overpass that was being demolished that night. From 9pm till 3:30 am the freeway overpass 50 yards from my room was being demolished with a huge jackhammer machine as big as a house. Couldn't sleep till 430am saturday morning to return Saturday night to the same issue but till 230 sunday morning. The lock on the door required […] help from the front desk twice. I was instructed that you had to jimmy the door as you put the card in the slot. Tried and tried and finally figured it out the third time after fifteen minutes of jimming the door. Mehr

The room was old, dingy, and we felt like we were going to catch some sort of disease. Stains and splotches on the walls. Just a creepy feeling all around.

pre ordered ground floor room. When arrived I had to take a 3rd floor room. Homeless family's stayiing next door had children trying to keep out of parents way and stay warm by riding elevator hour after hour. Families next door woke us up at 5 am fighting drunk . screaming, punching walls, etc. The inside of our bathroom had the door and walls eaten […] off by an animal. The bathroom had been used as a cage. Instead of getting caught ratting on them we just left. Mehr

I was there for three stays, room was clean and comfortable the clerk at the desk were polite and very helpful..had issues with the key card but overall a good experience. If I come back to antioch will definitely will stay there again

This facility should be called a motel and not a good one. Lots of construction in the area and some of the worker live there on a wkly bases. The grounds are not well kept. It appears to be a property that is struggling to survive. The rate paid per night based on conditions was quite generous.

Good price point at the right location, not far from BART and a variety of restaurants and shopping, right of highway 4

This is by far the worst hotel i've ever stayed. I arrived really late in the evening and was so tired I fell asleep so I did not get a chance to look around. When I woke up I went to take a shower and it was as if no one had cleaned it from the last occupant, there was hair and dirt in the tub and on the wall! The face towel by the sink looked used […] as well. The couch was stained and I was scared to look at the sheets I had just slept in! When I complained the clerk just said "i'll let maintenance know" there was no compensation and she acted as if this was normal around there.. I know this is not the best hotel but they could at least be sanitary! I will definitely never stay here again!!! Mehr

I was charged when I checked out!! The hotel is in bad shape. They told us they had to hault renovations I was almost afraid to take a shower the tub looked so bad

this hotel is clean and have a nice staff. I like this hotel.

No hot water.Loud neighbors.Walls too thin.And to make matters worse the toilet was not working, had to move to another room.

except for the housekeeping carts at 6am, pool side near kitchen woke me. which i used as an alarm clock.....it was a very nice stay.. It was a nice hotel; we were on the ground floor,couldn't see the pool. it looks like someone brokee a hotel door to a room, you see wood pieces all over the door frame. We did enjoy the breakfast, we got to make a waffle ,and cold cerceal, doughnuts and juice and hot coffiee. the tub was dirty .

I pre-paid for my room and when I got there was told that they had a new policy that I had to put down a 200.00 cash deposit. I dont like credit cards so I had to put the money down to get the room I already paid for. Then I get to the room and the walls were filthy and the beds were very uncomfortable. they put me in a room right next to the elevator […] so I got to hear the dinging of the elevator all night along with a party of tean agers till about 3am. This was an ok place to stay. The rate was fair and the sevice was not unpleasant. Every shopping opportunity was within walking distance.

totally over price and when i walk in to the room it was no light and the smell bad the room did not look clean at all

There was alot of noise outside at night and in the morning there was vomit on the lawn and smelt like alcohol. The fridge was broken with a bunch of towels inside. Had only 2 towels to be shared by 5 people and never got any more even after requesting one. Can't recommend.

I have never styaed in a hotel who puts $50.00 on your card just in case you break or steal something. When I checked in I didn't have a coffee pot so I certainly wanted to be sure they knew I didn'tt take it. I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. When I went down to the desk I was told they would bring the pot and a new phone. The […] pot arrived 2 hours later but a phone never showed up. The ice machine was broken and the pool closed. It only needs a good remolding w new furniture and shower curtains

Base on the standards we have here in California this Ramada Inn should be closed down. This hotel is very dirty, unsafe for the people staying there, there rooms has bed bugs and smells of smoke. If one is not careful, you can contact diseases there. I recommend that this hotel should be closed down due to the unsafe environment they have.

Booked last minute, rooms were okay, Nintendo 64 didn't work and we had to wait till the next day to get it changed. Sheets didn't stay on the bed properly and the pillows were too small. Although the hotel was close to the freeway you couldn't really hear the noise and it was close to several major restaurants/fast food outlets. Pool and spa were okay […] for the kids. Receptionist wasn't very helpful and knowlegable and be warned you have to put down a large deposit which was only refunded when they checked that our room was okay. Wouldn't stay here again! Mehr

Unfortunately I can not recommend this establishment. It is true what they said that you get what you pay for. Price was low and so was everything else. The carpet was filthy, towels were thin as tissue paper and rough,walls were dirty and had to qait an hour for a little shampoo bottle. The stay was nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. But the near by neighborhood not so good. If it was fenced in better I think it would help. But over all nice.

Hotel staff were very helpful and kind during our stay. Continental breakfast was good and well stocked, only complaint is pool was closed when we wanted to use it and staff could not tell us why it was or when it would open up again.

well desk lady spent alot of extra time time with me as I wanted room that was quiet and on 2nd floor away from the traffic. it was quiet and really good mattress as slept like a baby.Nice pool also and definetly best price in area. Thanks

This Hotel is the worst place ever, its durty, nasty, they have bugs, the beds are horrible, the carpet floors are durty, and the Hotel smell's really bad, it is the worst experience ever... I will never recomend this place. WOW, NASTY, NASTY PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff was very friendly, but the room was terrible. I didn't arrive until 11pm, and since it was late & I was tired & didn't know the area, I stayed. The security "Latch" above the standard lock had been torn off or kicked in, so it was missing, the pillow cases were stained so I slept on the outside of the bed with rolled up tee shirts as a pilow, […] wall paper was peeling off, shower barley worked, & one of the lamps didnt work & the lamp shade was just "Balanced" in place & fell off if a breeze hit it. This hotel is right next to the freeway and an incredibly busy intersection so I got little to no sleep. That one is mostly my fault because I should have done more research about the location but if you want to sleep, this isn't the place to do it. Also, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The air conditioner was really old […] and very loud contributing to the already problematic noise issue. There were stains on the sheets, pillow cases and towels. It was bad enough that we weren't really sure if the towels were stained or just dirty. The carpet near our bathroom sink looked like it had blood stains on it and the bathroom sink was clogged therefore, you could only use the sink for a very short period of time. The continental breakfast would have been just fine if it was clean. It was tolerable until a hotel employee started spraying chemicals near the food. The hotel is located very close to the freeway and to many restaurants and stores so it seems that it would be in a safe, nice area. This is not the case. It is evident that many people live at this hotel and most of these permanent residents seem to be of suspicious character. There was a lot of yelling, late night noise, and people hanging out in the parking lot. I am not one of those people that expects a five-star quality room for the price of a two-star. I never spend copious amounts of money on my hotel rooms. Basically, if it has a bed and it's clean and I don't feel like I'm going to be murdered or have my car stolen, I'm OK. This is the first and only hotel that I have found to be truly unacceptable. Mehr

Nice hotel, great staff.

The location was convenient to to our business in the area. The condition and comfort of the facility was less than desireable. Suggest one use this facility if nothing else is available.

Hotel is old, but clean. Could use some upgrades, but was an enjoyable stay.

The best that can be said is that the motel is reasonably priced and pet friendly. The worst that can be said is that it was run down, dirty and flea infested (I'm still itching). Find another place to stay.

A bit run down, ice machine on first floor, beds old school hard, refrigerator in room seal fallng off, no knob for temperature control, room smelled a bit, great TV selection. I would NOT stay here again.

One would think that the name say's it all. Not so, not in this case. The first room they put me into has the handi-cap shower, where you just walk in, no bath tub. All over the walls, shower head, shower curtain, floors, etc was what appeared to be splattered blood or coffee. I called the front desk and they sent the head maid to look at it. She said […] that they would clean it up for me. I said no thank you I want another room. Not only was the bathroom unhealthy and unsafe, but all 4 pillows had some sort of grease or mildew on the pilow cases. I took pictures of all of this. They moved me into the room right next door. At approximately 6:30AM the next morning I was woken up by a clatter. There was a man with his shoppig cart walking down the breezway and every 3 feet there are the crakes in the sidewalk. Then the man decided to go digging in the garbage can outside my room by the staircase. I asked the manager to tell who ever this is not to come so early in the morning as I'm on vacation and stay up late and like to sleep in. The next morning again with the clattrer and if that wasn't enough noise Cal-Trans is working on the freeway 100' from the hotel room. So between 5:45AM and 6:30AM I was woken up every day for 5 days by the heavy equipment operator running his tractor with the medal tracks and the garbage bandit and his shopping cart. I was also overcharged on my credit card that I gave for a security deposit. The hotel told me one price and charged me $21.00 more. Never again. Mehr
