Das Hotel hat bessere Zeiten gesehen, ist nicht gerade top gepflegt, aber sehr angenehm, vor allem weil es kein rundum luftdicht verschlossener Bunker ist. Die Zimmer sind riesig, die Betten sehr gut. Unten gibt es einen sehr netten Pub, in dem außer Getränken auch wirklich gutes Essen serviert wird. Die Hotelhalle mit riesigen Palmen und Teichen mit […] lebenden Enten ist eine Schau. We have enjoyed Embassy Suites in St. Paul in the past. The last two times we have stayed there, large events filled the place and it was very noisy. We like the rooms and the space. The manager's reception was far from inviting. This last stay, there was a large wedding in the ballroom which took most of the supplies for the reception. The only wine […] available was white zinfandel, the beer a light beer. There were a few chips and pretzels available, popcorn was gone.The hallways were noisy until near midnight. I tried to work but it was too noisy and no free wi-fi. Next time we'll stay somewhere else. Mehr

Went for the weekend to attend a college event.This was a good hotel choice because it was best and most convenient lodging to visit MacAlister College. Also same could be said for other St. Paul colleges. The breakfast and happy hour was fair. I have had better at similar facilities. You are pretty much stuck with eating breakfast there as there are […] no close by restaurants. A car is needed to get to the college areas. Shuttle to/from airport is good idea but the undefined schedule makes it problematic. Mehr

Some furnishings show their age quite a bit, but this is truly an elegant hotel and one at which we will be staying again. The king suites are large and comfy, they have a very nice free breakfast, and I love to walk through the atrium with the fountains and duck pond. Reception staff were not friendly, but weren't rude, either. Just a business transaction […] for them. We loved the room service Buffalo wings, but the Cobb salad left a great deal to be desired. For the most part we loved the hotel and service. The major inconvenience was the chaos arriving and departing. The hotel had 4 elevator which were all packed during prime arriving and departing times. After waiting quite a long time, we decided to take the stairs. there were 2 STAIRWAY signs which both led to emergency fire exits..none led to the main […] floor or lobby. Also, there is a $10/day parking fee they do not tell you about till you check out...that was not cool!!! Mehr

The exterior of this hotel is great. That's where it all ends. The bedding was yellowed, the lamp shades were torn and yellowed, two light fixtures wouldn't work, the TV in the bedroom didn't work, the remote in the living space didn't work, I was late to my meeting because my wake up call didn't get made, and the street sweeper kept me up (once a year […] event). the room was like a sauna. I called the front desk and they told me to open a window,which i did , but nothing helped. They were not very helpful.

The hotel was close to everything food, family fun, an easy excess to the hiway. The breakfast was free an cooked to order it was great we loved it the only problem I had was the pool was kinda.small.

Booked here due to proximity to Minnesota History Center and local dining possibilities with shuttle service. Had to call engineering for a couple of minor things but otherwise the accommodations were just fine. Front desk and courtesy drive staff were all exceptional. Took about an hour to get breakfast on Sunday morning, however, due to a very poorly […] planned layout and staffing for a full house. Pity to end a nice weekend on that lousy note. Mehr

This hotel was nice and relaxing. The manger hours was worth the line. The bartenders sure do take care of you. The breakfast was as wonderful!. The only down fall was the night I stayed there had been a concert at the Xcel Center. There was slamming of doors everywhere. The security was high which made you feel safe. But also afraid to go get ice. […] At one point I walked out just to see how crazy the hallways were. I had secuirty start shining flashlights on me and pointing to go back in the room. I feel that for the price of the hotel I shouldn't be treated as a young, drunk, concert goer just because I walk out my room at night. Mehr

While at the hotel in January, it snowed lightly three times. NOT ONCE DID THE HOTEL CLEAR OFF, SALT, SAND OR OTHERWISE PREVENT THE PARKING LOT FROM TURNING FROM SLUSH TO ICE. Walking to and from my car was HAZARDOUS. I complained to the desk to no avail. I was told they didn't clear snow because it would just snow some more the next day! Overall a very nice experince. The hotel was very clean, and upkept. Breakfast was very good, and free at the time.

The hotel is showing its age, I know it is over 20 years old. Just showing wear and tear but still a place I would stay again.

I stayed here while interviewing at Regions Hospital and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Room was very nice and extremely comfortable with mmore room than I knew what to do with. Easy check-out and convenient parking.

I reserved a smoking room well in advance. When I checked in around 4:30 PM, the parking lot was almost empty. When I checked in I was told that no smoking rooms were available even though the hotel appearred no to have many people. Later that even at the manager's reception, the hotel still appearred not to have many people. I am very disappointed […] that even the room was booked well in advance that the hotel could not honor my room request. This is not the first time this has happened at this hotel. Mehr

Clean, no smells, quiet and lots of pillows. Perfect!

Our family has stayed at this hotel several times. It is a clean hotel in a good location...on a nice day it is definitely walking distance from downtown. Staff has always been friendly and courteous. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast is fine, not high quality but it is free and fills you up. The pool is small but our dughters enjoy it. The […] atrium style design of the hotel tends to amplify the noise you can hear in the room...we asked for a fan to drown some of it out. Parking is $10 but you can come and go as much as you want. Wi-fi is $9.95 but there is a complimentary office room with computers for use. All in all a good value and tolerable for a one night stay...obviously, as we have returned several times. Oh, and our daughters just live watching the ducks swim around in the ponds! Mehr

Not sure if it was the way the air vents worked or if they had recently switched some rooms from smoking to non, but our room REEKED of smoke. As soon as you walked in, you smelled it. Unfortunately there was nowhere to move us as it was a busy weekend in St. Paul. We had one person sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room, and she said she […] heard dishes clanking around loudly for breakfast as early as 5am. Also, the air vents weren't working and our room was super hot. We had to open the balcony door to cool it off. And the toilet barely worked, which is always fun with 5 people in a room. Disappointing considering Embassy Suites generally ranks as a nice place to stay. The breakfast was great and the manager's reception was great, just disappointed with the smoky room, lack of cool air, and noise. Mehr

This was a great place to stay from all angles: Food, bar, room was a fully equipped suite, pool, sauna. I was disappointed that there was no shuttle service. Taxis were readly available.

Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help. From the managers evening get together to the cook to order breakfast, this was one of the best hotel stays my wife and I have ever had.

Very spacious and comfortable room for the price. There was a bar and kitchen area, seating area and separate bedroom. The breakfast was very good-fruit, freshly made omelets, etc.

This hotel, although not in the heart of all the action, gets snaps from me for their excellent service. I checked in to my suite, and there was an awful, constant noise. I called the desk and they moved me to a new room immediately, no question. The new room was quiet, spacious, clean and luxurious! I wish I had taken advantage of the cocktail hour […] as it looked great, but I had work to do. The breakfast was plentiful. When I tried to "bus" my own table, a staff member gushed a bit, telling me I didn't have to do that! What can I say, I'm a Minnesotan! Thanks for a great experience! Mehr

We had a great stay & were really impressed that there was a complimentary drinks & complimentary home cooked breakfast offered. The only disappointing thing was that we had to pay for parking usually hotels offer this service for free when you are staying with them.

The neigorhood was so so the hotel was very good. The services it offered was very enjoyable. Had a great selection for the contential breakfast.

Very nice hotel with great rooms. Pretty lobby and good free happy hour at night. Very private.

Embassy provided a car service till midnight, but when we called at 11pm the driver had already gone home. A little dissappointed. Breakfast line way too long in the morning. needs a better set up.

We travel to St. Paul, MN 3-4 times a year to visit family. We have stayed in different hotels in the past but they do not include a great breakfast like Embassy offers. We were very happy with the price that we paid and the value we received. Thank you. We WILL stay at Embassy again if the price is right, like it was this past visit. Thank you!

My only complaint with this hotel is that they appear to only have 5 smoking rooms. On the two times that I have stayed there I have not been able to get a smoking room even though that is what I requested in the reservation.

we enjoyed our stay at your hotels. The service was great. It was close to the quilt show we were attending and it was easy to get to and from it.

I went to see Taylor swift with 4 other girls, and we stayed in a deluxe suite at embassy. The visual is an experience of it's own! Staff was curtious and prompt, also very helpful with information. The food for breakfast was tasteful, and the cocktail hour was a perk :). My only dissatisfaction: double beds are not really double, bigger than a twin, […] but not quite a full size...so if you are sleeping with someone, prepare to be close! Otherwise, the atmosphere was great! I didn't utilize the pool or fitness center, but it appeared nice and cleanly. Mehr

Had a great stay at your hotel. We used your shuttle service twice each day to go to a conference being held at another hotel. You drivers and staff were absolutely great. It was a really big help to us because I am disabled. Thanks for your great staff!

Is a very nice hotel. Beds are comfortable, lots of room in the suites, but it the rooms need to be updated. Breakfast is always great and Happy Hour was fun. Went to a concert and a shuttle was available to bring us to the Excel Center, this was an excellent choice.

Best part was that they lent us a corkscrew and let us stay up all night drinking wine and talking in the courtyard. Also, I liked the ducks in the pond. Funky in a frumpy kind of way... just like St. Paul itself.

The hotel is very well kept and I had an enjoyable stay until 3 AM when the people in the room above me started to make a lot of noise. I called the front desk every half hour from 3 am to 5 am when shortly after a security guard knocked on my door and rudely, very rudely informed me there was no noise above me. I was promised the rooms would be comped. […] as I had two rooms and we were all up from 3 to well after 5 am. But to this point no comp. of the rooms or response from hotel management!! Suprise suprise. I would not waste my time, money ot stay with this hotel chain again!! Mehr

Convenient location - edge of downtown St. Paul and EZ access to the Interstates Helpful staff - we needed an extra blanket and they showed up in 5 minutes with one. Nice made-to-order breakfast included - omelettes, waffles, pancakes, fresh fuit, cereals, juices, etc. We enjoyed them!! Nice cocktail hour included - nice to have a free glass(es) […] of wine in the evening! Clean room - Uncomfortable beds - mattresses were too hard Pullout sofa bed was horrible - you could feel all of the springs. Nice Irish restaurant in the lobby - we had 2 dinners there and enjoyed them very much. Fairly priced, large portions (too large for us), good quality home-made food. The indoor pool was enjoyed by our kids. There's an adult swim on Friday/Saturday nights from 10p-midnight; it seemed pretty packed then. The duck ponds in the atrium were a unique touch of nature ot have and enjoy. We'd stay here again. Mehr
