The hotel was good, but there was not good directions to get to it. The highways are very confusing for someone out of town. They need to have very definite step by step directions from the airport to the motel. And they need to have it by the phone, and at the airport.

I WAS VERY SURPRISED THERE WAS NO TABLE AND CHAIR, INCOMPLETE COFFEE SUPPLIES, I REALLY EXPECTED BETTER.

Rooms really need updating. Tiles in bathroom in poor condition. Front door had gap at bottom and didn't seal so there was tons of road noise and loud guests were easily heard. Room only had 1 chair.

Stayed here for 3 nights during the NCAA Tourney. It was what I expected for a hotel. The price was perfect and it was in a great location. It was between a $10-$12 cab ride to get downtown. I would stay here again for sure.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I stood at the front desk while the Desk Clerk continued her obviously personal phone call. The check in process, despite the fact that I had booked everything through Hotels.com took well over a half an hour. The clerk was abrasive and brash. Upon getting to my room, you could tell it had not had a thorough cleaning in a […] while. The toilet ran almost constantly. There were stains on every wall in the room. When I checked the coffee pot, the coffee from the last person using the room was still in the machine. The mini fridge was dirty and my room was apparently next to some kind of maintenance closet. This was, without a doubt one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. I strongly recommend that you do not use this hotel for your stay in Pittsburgh. I know I won't ever stay there again. The room was clean, but the hallway outside was not very aesthetically pleasing--the floor in front of our room was very dirty and had a huge water spot. The hotel is on the side of the street...there is nothing nearby but a gas station. So, if you are looking for a place with a view ,this isn't it. The door would not shut all the way and let in cold air. We couldnt get the deadlock to work cause the door wouldnt shut all the way. The hotel is right by a busy road and you could the traffic through the door/walks all night. The lighting was terrible and I had to move a light bulb and take off a shade for my daughter to do her hair and make-up for […] her college audition. Check in time was at 3pm and me and my girlfriend arrived at around 9pm.. The woman at the front desk proceeded to tell us that she mistakenly let another gentleman check into our room and settle in. He sighned our recipt which was pre paid. She didn't ID him or anything. Then she told us to go get dinner for a couple of hours and come back. Unacceptable […] after driving for 9 hours. When we finally got our room we were basically in the basement. The room was filthy and the carpet was pulled up.. Horrible experience!!! Mehr

I cannot believe that this hotel could charge what they did for this room. At check in, I was told the water would be turned off at 5:30 the next morning. When we saw our room, the bathroom was recently cleaned, but stained and mildewed. We only slept there but could hear every movement outside. There was no way to wash up or brush our teeth in the […] morning but we were directed to the free continental breakfast. This included paper bowls and plates that you could eat your cereal with. When a guest asked the front desk for more milk, she was not very pleasant. We decided to have a weak cup of coffee and lost our appetite. I have NEVER stayed at such a horrible place and would severely warn anyone from ever staying there, If I had had my minivan, I would have felt better sleeping in the back of the van. Mehr

buddy of mine & I went on an overnight trip to see a baseball game. Place was clean and the breakfast was pretty good.

Good price...Linda at front desk was helpful...room and beds weren't the most comfortable but bathroom And room were clean. Good for one night for the price, probably wouldn't stay here if it was an extended stay. But I am pretty picky.

The Days Inn Hotel was not near the Pittsburg Pirates baseball park, especially not walking distance. Pittsburg is not a visitor friendly town if you're driving. It's to easy to get lost. It took me a while to find the hotel. Once I found it, I loved the room and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little out of the way. My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night while we were in Pittsburgh for a concert. We had a little bit of trouble checking in; they did not immediately have my reservation, but it was soon found. The room was nice, big, & clean. This was close by downtown Pittsburgh. Just have to watch out for the traffic. The only real drawbacks were that […] the restaurant onsite was an Indian restaurant and the only other ones around were Eat n' Park and a BBQ place. Visiting my son in college in the city while living in South Side. The hotel is convenient to school and his place, right off the highway. Happy to get the bed that I need for short stays without the downtown price. Not a fancy hotel but clean and priced about where I expect for what it offers. Check in and check out are easy and quick.

Our room wasn't 100% clean when we got in. It was a bit dingy, and the power kept on going off. Most annoying was the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. This would have been a decent hotel for $50.00/night, but not for what we paid for.

The Days Inn was very close to Pittsburgh and it was easy to wake up and go straight into the city.

Nice and clean room,traffic a little busy than I expect in the morning to the tunnel that brought me to the University of Pittsburgh.Staff are friendly.Highly recommend to visitor who stay in the area.

Things went well. The room is small but sufficient. The hotel staff were very friendly and did what they could to accommodate me. I requested to stay an extra night due to travel complications and things were taken care of very quickly. Said they had internet. It was not functional. Staff no help. Needed to check out at noon and staff was going to charge half day for hour later checkout. Crappy service. Don't stay unless you get a REALLY good deal. Not worth it.

This hotel was adequate, but not much more. Odor in the hallways/room, crumbs on the chair when we checked in, dark and run-down, and in a poor section of town. However, for one night and just a place to sleep, it was OK. I would recommend this hotel with a qualifier, don't expect much, but you will save money over others in the area.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this loation and again we were absolutely thrilled by the nice room they gave us, even though we got there late. The staff was awesome and extremely accomodating to our needs. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast bhefore our trip home and great service. Very poor accommodations. Lobby area in need of update/repair. Terrible smell throughout entire hotel. Room access was stairs only. Dirty carpet throughout. We booked 2 double rooms. Both rooms were dirty and need of repair. Dated decor which could have been overlooked had the rooms been clean. Bathroom floors disgusting. In one of the rooms one bed […] did not have a top sheet, blanket only. In the other room the coffee maker was filthy. Bed spreads were dirty with holes. The room next to the hallway exit was filled with stink bugs. My mother in law complained to the front desk and tried to get us to register our complaints as well but we were in Pittsburgh to visit my daughter in college and didn't want to use any of our short weekend visit to complain to the front desk. Plus, quite frankly, I just wanted to get out and away from that filthy place. The front desk clerk was very polite and professional when we checked in. I felt sorry for him because he was too good to be employed in that nasty hotel. I must say it was conveniently close to our destination in the city however. Mehr

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Nothing fancy. But the price is right. Flat screen TV is nice. Free wireless internet access is easy to access and reliable to use. Overall, a good value as long as you're not expecting on the "Ritz".

The noise in the hall seemed to be right in our room, we could hear every conversation word for word in the other room and in the hallway. The people next door were extremely loud, their door slammed every 10 minutes for hours, from about 10:30 pm - 3am. When I checked-in, I had to ask about a posted sign at the reception desk that said customers from Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas couldn't stay for more than one consecutive night. I was told that this was because they wanted to keep rooms available for their out-of-town guests. I'm not sure I understand the business reason behind it. The hotel […] was in a very convenient location near downtown Pittsburgh and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the room wasn't too nicely furnished and seemed a bit dark. The nearby busy road cleared out at night, but traffic crawled along it during rush hour. When I arrived, my card key didn't open my room. The receptionist tried putting me in the adjacent room, then came by a minute later to move me to my original room with a new card key. Not a big deal, though I'm glad she came by quickly before I started unpacking my things. Mehr

This place is a little run down and the restaurant has distinct odors of Indian cuisine which might put some people off.

This hotel felt like it was on the outskirts of a ghetto. There were no obvious restaurants (other than one in the hotel) within sight nor any other hotels. I went with my BFF and we both felt that neither of us would venture outside alone for safety. The bathroom shower/tub either had mold or the caulking needs replaced. Either way it didn't look […] clean as there were black and yellow areas all around. The refrigerator was unbalanced which made it difficult to open and close. The staff was friendly and greeted us warmly after our long drive and late check in. The continental breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. Could have use a little more substance like yogurt. We were just stopping overnight to break up a long drive. The location is not great for seeing pittsburgh, but that didnt matter for us. We paid about $10 for a cab to the baseball stadium. Service was good. We would recommend this to others who need a decent place to stay for a night.

Nicer than we first thought. Seemed somewhat in a desolate location at night, but it was safe and clean.

Location of the hotel was convenient to the downtown area of Pittsburgh. Dining was nearby should you need a quick meal. I personally chose to walk in the surrounding area. I felt comfortable in my surroundings. I did not feel threatened to walk in a new area since I was not familiar with the surrounding area of the hotel. Accommodations were found […] online and the stay worked out very well. This was a birthday celebration weekend as well as a sporting event involvement. We'll be back to your location. There is so much more to see in Pittsburgh. Been there twice and I can attest to the growth of Pittsburgh. Can't wait to see the opening of the Hockey arena but sad about the demise of the Igloo. Mehr
