Eine absolut Absteige! Die Lage ist zwar super schön und wirklich direkt am Strand, aber das Hotel war absolut dreckig. Die Farbe an den Hotelzimmertüren ist abgeblättert, die Betten sahen auch nicht frisch aus, das Badezimmer war dreckig. Der Aufzug war kaputt, das Frühstück konnte man nicht als Frühstück bezeichnen. Außerdem bin ich abends im Flur […] auf dem Weg zu meinem Zimmer über einen stark alkoholisierten dort schlafenden Mann gestolpert. An der Rezeption habe ich Bescheid gesagt und der ältere Herr hat die Augen verdreht und ist mit äußerster Gemütlichkeit irgendwann nach oben. FÜR DEN PREIS EINE ABSOLUTE FRECHHEIT!!! Mehr

das Hotel befindet sich in einer Top Lage, direkt am Meer. die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück wie in den meisten Hotels eher spärlich. habe 2 Nächte hier verbracht und würde es zu einem angemessenen Preis auch wieder buchen

Einfaches Hotel, zwar in guter ruhiger Lage, aber maximal für zwei Nächte geeignet. Das Frühstück ist niveaulos, auf Plastikgeschirr.

Lage direkt am Strand, aber abgelegen. Man darf keine schweren Gepaeckstuecke haben, da der Aufzug nicht funktioniert (wer weiss wie lange noch). Gaenge und Zimmer bieten einen ungepflegten Zustand. Die vorhandenen grossen zwei Handtuecher bitte pfleglich behandeln. Fuer Abenteuerurlaub geeignet.

Wir haben noch einmal umgebucht. Und das war auch gut so. Wir haben uns das Hotel natürlich trotzdem angeschaut und haben auchmit Gästen gesprochen die dort wohnten. Das Frühstück im stehen zu "genießen" war noch das kleinste übel.

Also zunächst einmal: Die Lage ist wirklich schön. Direkt am North Beach, wundershöner langer Sandstrand, sauber und schön ! Das Hotel allerdings war die Hölle! Wir wurden unglaublich unfreundlich empfangen, die Lobby sah fürchterlich heruntergekommen aus. Wir bekamen dann unseren Schlüssel und mussten in den 3. Stock laufen - der Aufzug war außer […] Betrieb (die Toiletten in der Lobby auch). Das Zimmer selbst war sehr dunkel, Sonnenlicht kam nicht herein, da das Fenster nur 20 cm von der nächsten Hotelwand entfernt war. Im Bad waren mehrere Haarbüschel, das Waschbecken und die Badewanne hatten mehrere "Sprünge" und sahen nicht so aus als ob sie jemand gereinigt hätte. Auf dem Boden waren Blutspuren und andere Flüssigkeiten zu sehen. Die Betten waren zwar "gemacht" aber es waren auch hier zahlreiche Haare zu finden. Wir haben daher beschlossen erst so spät wie möglich abends in das Hotel zurückzukehren. Das haben wir dann gemacht und uns komplett angezogen ins Bett gelegt, weil man nicht wollte das Haut das Laken berührt. Die Wände waren so dünn, dass wir stundenlang die Telefongespräche unsere Zimmernachbarn mit anhören mussten. Nachts wurde eine Party auf dem Gang direkt vor unserer Tür gefeiert. Morgens sind wir dann aufgewacht, weil eine Taube in unsere Klimaanlage saß und laut gegurrt hat. Das kostenlose Frühstück haben wir uns gespart und sind dann völlig erledigt aber froh diese Nacht hinter uns zu haben wieder abgereist. Ich möchte nur jedem eindringlich ans Herz legen NIE NIE NIE in dieses Hotel zu gehen. Ich habe auch vorher die Bewertungen gelesen und gedacht dass es soooo schlimm ja nicht sein kann. Doch. Ist es. Das Hotel liegt in einer etwas "einfacheren" Umgebung von Miami Beach. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr heruntergekommen und schlichtweg verdreckt. Die Fenster ließen den Blick auf einen völlig zugemüllten Hinterhof zu ... wir zogen nach einer Nacht die Notbremse, verließen das Hotel und suchten uns eine andere Unterkunft. Schade ums Geld! was soll ich sagen: NIE Wieder trifft es am besten! Furchtbare Bude - selbst für 20€ pro Nacht eine Zumutung - der einzigste Trost: keine Mäuse oder Käfer im Zimmer... wobei ich die bei dem Anblick sofort erwartet hätte....

so billig vom niveau habe ich noch nicht gesehen,nicht mal ein sitzplatz zum essen ist vorhanden

Wir haben fünf Zimmer gebucht. In allen Zimmern war es schmutzig, die Bettdecken und die Teppiche hatten Flecken. Die Duschen waren nicht sauber und das Bad allgemein schmuddelig. In manchen Zimmern hat es dazu noch eklig gerochen. Wir würden das Hotel definitiv nicht weiter empfehlen.

We went for a weekend with two kids and it was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The elevator was out of order, the hallways smelled like marijuana and it was not at all a good place for a family. We're lucky that we only stayed a night.

Been this hotel in front of the beach is really old the cleanlines it was ok but need to renew the elevator was out of service.

First of all, the only reason I picked this hotel was for the balcony. I was guaranteed a balcony once I made the reservation. When I got there, no balcony's were available. Then the elevator wasn't working so we had to carry up our luggage to the second floor. The room was a hole in the wall. It didn't even have central A/C. It had the A/C that is […] on the wall! Who even has those anymore! We had two double beds and one of them caved in when we laid down! The bathroom was clean I must say. I wouldn't stay here again even if someone paid me to! This hotel is in ok condition, a bit ghetto, room smelled like some chemical cleaner and the smell was permanent. But service was good (well, I was there only for one night). It's located right on the beach, but North Beach sucks, too far from everything. I did not realized it's 70 blocks north of South Beach. no microwave, no wifi internet, dirty carpets on hallway, elevator is not working and we've stayed on the 3rd floor! that lady in reception area doesn't even know the meaning of customer service! oh the parking it's free from 6pm to 8am, but before 8am you have to get up just to pay for your parking or u will get fined! this hotel sucks, they should […] demolish it! : ( Mehr

Elevators not working and the room are not is good condition

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not even someone I disliked! The place was absolutely disgusting. My boyfriend and I could not even physically stay there for the week we book a room for because it was absolutely horrible. The room smelled like urine and mildew, there were holes punched in the door and walls, and the tiles were broken and […] could easily have hurt someone. Stay only if you just need a place to sleep & shower for the hotel is OLD and needs to be updated - Price right....The staff is wonderful, helpful & friendly - The location is GREAT - right across the street from the beach & around the corner from Collins Ave....The room is VERY Basic - bed, large bureau, surprisingly a large semi-walk in closet with […] safe & tiny bathroom with window....It is very clean but feel like you're in the 1950's decor .....They give a complimentary continental breakfast and have a nice size lobby & front patio to sit, relax & take in the fresh air. Hotel is veeery old and screaming for a big renovation or complete rebuild, but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay at in a more quiet area not in the crowded tourists areas around Miami beach but right AT the beach, this is where you wann to go :-)

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. They don't change the linen daily. you only get two towels per day, the bathrooms are from the dark ages, and the overall condition of the room and entire place was very dirty and un kept. As we slept I had the feeling of bed bugs crawling on us. This is an ugly place with filthy carpets […] through out the stairways and hallways. No elevator, room telephone was full of dust and security within the hotel was a joke. there is none. Oh did I mention that the area is located across from the beach, which on it's face is nice but the area is FULL of HOMELESS people hanging around the front porch of this hotel on a regular basis. This hotel was awful... The sheets had stains All over them. The walls had holes in them.. The staff was awful and rude.. I would never Recommend this hotel.. It's not worth the money.

The only benefit of this hotel was that is is close to the beach and there is parking all around. The hotel is on a desolate part of the strip and far from South beach, shopping or main venues. The rooms are old and in need of new linens and bathroom fixtures. I had to clean the bathroom and ask for towels when i arrived. Room and bed were comfortable enough, but the bathroom had definitely not been cleaned. Dirty sink and dirty shower, preferred not to use it.

Rooms was so dirty that we could not stay there even one night.

Hi, i stayed 2 nights and the elevator didn't work, the bathroom wasn't painted fully, the neighborhood wasn't great, I won't return alone to that area.

We stayed there because it was very late but as soon as we were awake we left right away.. Very dirty place...cripy!

Check-in: not welcoming, had to pay a mandatory fee for the in room safe (2.14). Kinda lame, I've never been charged for a safe before. Seems like a shistah move... Going to room on 2nd flr: elevator inoperative Room: nice view of the ocean from front circular window and balcony off the side of the room. There is a refrigerator in the room with a giant glaciar where the ice box should be & there seems to be no wifi. However, there is a continental breakfast included, it is served from 7-9AM. It wasn't exactly what look like in the pictures. The hotel is very old and I didn't feel comfortable even taking my shoes off!! It needs a HUGE update!!

I don't like to write bad reviews, but come on!!! This hotel is the worst I've stayed at EVER. We got a room on the third floor and off course the elevator was not working. As we were walking up the stairs, we noticed the dirty-ness on the walls, stairs, etc. As we were checking out the room: comforters and sheets were stained big time, there were grains […] of rice in my bed, the electric outlet was uncovered (really unsafe), there were hair strands in the towels and on the seats. There was no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so if you need to stay here because of budget reasons I highly recommend using flip-flops while taking a shower. Mehr

this is not a 2 star hotel. There are no face clothsor tissues. There is no ice in the hotel. The elevator has not worked in over a year. This 1 star hotel can be had at a good price.

Good location, parking close by, great front desk service. Hotel needs major upgrades,bad matresses broken elevator, dirty walls dirty filthy carpets in room and halls. Bad location on a ghost town section of Miami beach. The hotel is in need of repairs and renovations. It was worse than a hostel, very dirty. The air conditioner had a hole all the way around it, so you could hear all sounds from the alley and it almost broke down every five mins. The TV was from the 80's and kept shutting off. This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in in my life! Obviously I didn't expect much with the price of the hotel, but it was not worth half of what we paid! The rooms were disgusting. Housekeeping didn't know the meaning of the word 'clean'. The sheets were not changed and the bathroom was cleaned once in the week we were there. Food was stolen […] from our room. We walked past her 'cleaning' one room and she was sitting on their bed watching tv!! Everything about the hotel was skanky, there were hairs in the breakfast - I wouldn't feed it to my dogs. The room was ridiculously loud, there were children running up and down the corridors at ridiculous hours - which i believed to belong to staff of the hotel. If i could rate it minus numbers i would! There was one member of staff that was friendly and polite but we only saw her once. To give you an idea of the friendlines of the rest of the staff - I went to reception to ask about a tour - the entire time i was talking to her she was looking past me. Not surprisingly when it came to her answering my question, she had no idea as she hadn't listened to anything i said. Then when i started to explain myself for a second time she decided to start up a conversation with somebody else behind me! Needless to say i was shocked with the way she acted and left. I wouldn't want the stray cats to stay in this place. Although it is on the beach, it's not an area i felt safe in, and would not go out after dark. It really is awful. Look harder and spend a little more and get a clean room it's worth it !!!! This place is gross !!!! The breakfast offered is out of date milk and cereal in a huge plastic container , elevator out if order for over one week , painted hand rails and did not use wrt paint signs ...I have pink paint all over my luggage . The hotel was horrible! The staff was rude, the hotel was filthy, the sheets in room had stains on them, the towels in bath were rough and no wash clothes. if you looking for a save place to stay. good dont expect much from the place.

first of all they were not like the rooms that we booked on line. but the water stayed hot no promblems there. my friend was very mad but over all it was okay to me because i went to party not sleep.

Its definitely cheap, but I loved being beach front. Its a local neighborhoood, plan to drive and pay for parking if you want to go out or see anything. The one lady at the front desk was very rude. Also, the breakfast isn't good. Bagels and cream cheese (my bagel was soggy), mini pecan pinwheels and juice and coffee. This was a classy dive hotel. For one night it was fine but I will not be staying there again. It is need need for an updated as everything is outdated. For an Art Decor hotel it looks like the last update might have been the late 60's/early 70's. I spent two nights and i had great time. The location es perfect in front of the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. Rooms are not luxury but there are clean and beds comfortables, so by the price is really a good deal. I recommend it if you are looking for a clean and comfortable place with good location.. This hotel is inexpensive, and when you get there you can see why. It's not kept up well (e.g., sloppy interior, ugly rooms, and elevator that looks like it's been out-of-service forever), the staff aren't especially friendly, and it's far from South Beach.
