Comfort Suites Airport and Cruise Port - Fort Lauderdale

Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht. Dafuer ist dieses Hotel gut geeignet. Liegt in der Naehe vom Flughafen und nahe des alten Stadtteils und fruehstueck Optionen um die Ecke. Im Hotel bot man uns auch eine Fahrt durch die Stadt um zu wissen wo was ist und hat uns waehrend der fahrt hilfreiche tipps gegeben. War ein sehr netter Aufenthalt.

Sehr schönes Hotelzimmer, nettes Personal, Frühstück abwechslungsreich, Strand in ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Zimmer etwas hellhörig, abber noch ok.

Das Hotel liegt etwas Abseits (Ostseite) von der Altstadt + Hafen, aber direkt neben dem Hotel kann man Mopeds / Fahrräder ausleihen. Das Zimmer war vollkommend ausreichend + sauber, mit Pool, sowie amerkanisches Frühstück. In der nahen Umgebung sind Malls + Restaurants.

AC didn't work well - didn't cool. Room had a musty, almost moldy smell. Overall stay rating 3 out of 5.

Our stay was short but pleasant. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good as well. Shuttle to cruise port, although not included, was appreciated.

We flew into FLL late and stayed one night before leaving for the Bahama's in the AM, The hotel room was clean and looked as if it had recently been remodeled. For a one night stay, the hotel was fine. However, the staff lacked customer service but that could be because of under-staffing. I called the hotel the day before we arrived because our flight […] was going to arrive at 1:00am and I wanted to make sure our hotel room would be available to check into. The woman who answered the phone was rude, ending the short phone call with "you're fine" then click and hung up. There was only 1 person on duty in the AM when cruise ship people were checking out. She was not able to answer the phone and wait on people at the front desk. Breakfast was supposed to be available at 6:30 am. We went down at 7:00am and breakfast was still being set up. The hotel overall was very good. However, at breakfast in the morning, they ran out of scrambled eggs and sausage, and I was told that they did not order enough food for all the guest who were staying at the hotel. Further, there was no coffee available in the lobby. Also, the PARKING and transpot to the cruise ship that was advertised was not FREE. […] The parking was $10.00 per day, and the transportation was only free to the airport. It cost $6.00 per person to be driven to the ship, and $6.00 per person to be driven back feom the ship to the hotel to pick up your car. On my six day cruise this ca,e to $104.00. Parking at the cruise terminal was only $90.00 for my six day cruise, and a shuttle took me to my car. Will not stay at this hotel again. It was not what I expected and was disappointed. Mehr

It was good but outlets did not work, blow dryer did not work.....room was ok walls very dirty and put out bed was so dirty they people working were wondeful and very helpful!!!

We were staying in a moderate Disney hotel prior to checking in this hotel, and we were very pleased with how comfortable and spacious our room was compared to the Disney hotel. Our family of four all agreed it was the best night that we slept during our trip. The only complaint that I have is the street noise, but that's not a big issue cuz we were […] all fast asleep in no time. I chose this hotel for a one day stay between my cruise arrival and my departure flight the day after. Overall condition of this hotel, for the price, is at best average. Info asked from the desk was not accurate most of the time, breakfast was OK only, room cleanliness was deficient as the bath and the floor were full of body (?) hair. Asked the desk […] to send someone to clean it and she told me that she was alone and can't do it. She did not believe, at the phone, that it would be that bad. She phoned me back few minutes after that she was coming to my room and she agreed that it was disgusting ! Also, even if my room was in the back, a lot of traffic noise could be heard. The hotel is a great hotel to stay at before or after cruising. The hotel staff is very friendly and excellent. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we would again. It is in a great location and you can take the city bus or trolley over to the beach area.

We booked this hotel as we were going on a cruise leaving from Port Everglades. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. Really close to the cruise port and located on the main road which was easy to find.

The Good: Good location from airport and timely airport transfers. Transfer drivers were nice and did not stand there as you exited the vehicle expecting a tip. Front desk was helpful and polite. Neighborhood seemed okay. Didn't walk around much except to taco bell next store. The bad: I swear the hardest bed I have ever layed on. I think the floor […] would have been more comfortable. I tried the couch, and that was about as bad. AC would not stay on and fan only setting did not work. Overall: I would stay here again if I was in a pinch just like I did this time. Mehr

excellent breakfast bar, coffee pot in room was inoperative but staff replaced it rite away, bed was comfortable overall clean comfortable room, staff very friendly and polite :)

I used this hotel because of the shuttle to the cruise line. I have to say the shuttle service was very professional. The delivery and pick up were reliable. My only concern was the cost. The distance was less than 2 miles and it cost $64 roundtrip for 4 people. A cab would have been minimal.

After being told that it was newly renovated, and having had a previously wonderful impression of this chain, I was shocked to find that on our arrival the carpet in the room was not vacuumed (right at the entrance)-terrible 2nd impression. The bathroom was not cleaned properly (seemed like a shoe brushed against the toilet seat, leaving a dark mark, […] and the soap dish had remnants- YUCK) It seemed like they just did not look over the place before they left it for our use. The hotel is in a very good location (very close access to the beach and within walking distance to many dining choices and shopping). All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk guy gave very good advice about how to get around Fort Lauderdale easily and inexpensively. The room was well furnished with a microwave and refrigerator […] and the free breakfast choices were a bonus. The room and bathroom were clean and presentable unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable (it felt like sleeping on a box spring). The hotel overall was "OK" ... Location was OK--lots of places to chose from to eat at... Breakfast choice was really limited... but the staff was really friendly, professional and extremely pleasant and helpful... That was a HUGE plus....

The place was located convenient, very busy, nice continental breakfast. Small but private pool area. the hallways and elevators were a bit worn, but clean. Good stay.

Checked into hotel night before cruise. room seemed clean. when opening up covers found a small bug in the bedding. called down stairs and they ensured me they never had any issues with bedbugs. my wife and child went to sleep i watched television on the couch. an hour later i flashed a light . bed bugs everywhere some already bitting my wife and child […] they were so fat with blood they could barley move. Called downstairs they moved us into a new room. i wish they would have moved us initially. bad start to trip. Mehr

The hotel was situated in a great place about $10.00 for taxi from Port Everglades. Not far to walk to some good eating places Outback etc as well as about 4 blocks to catch the trolley car that you can ride for $1.00 each way up to the beach. The staff were so awesome they were so busy with people arriving & leaving at the same time and the cleaning […] staff worked hard to get rooms ready for those that arrived from the Cruise Ship. We left the next morning on the 5 am Shuttle which is free to the airport and the most unbelievable suprise they had packed everyone leaving a goodie bag which had an apple, small H2O, granola bar and a candy. This hotel is in a great location particularly if you take public transit! The hotel does provide a good shuttle service to both airport and cruise port. Restuarants and shops are walking distance away. The included breakfast was excellent. aThe staff was very pleasant.

Hotel feels, looks and smells aged. Needs renovation. Continental breakfast was clean and not busy at the time I was there. Did not like that they charge for the cruise shuttle service which was not written anywhere. Shuttle service to airport is complimentary. I feel that there way better hotels out there for the price range.

Great hotel overall. Breakfast was so-s, what you would expect from this class of hotel. Interesting that No Smoking signs are posted up everywhere, yet smoking is permitted because the signs will be taken down soon... Seems a little backwards with the times!

The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions and the best mode of transportation to get where you are going. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definatley stay here again!

This hotel is looking tired and in need of remodeling. Free breakfast was poor. Over use of airfreshener in room and windows that wouldn't open. The shuttle service is very pricey. Use it as a second choice, but there are better qulaity offerings in the area at similar price.

This was our first visit to this hotel and we will definitely be back. I was a little concerned when I read some of the reviews from others when I reserved this hotel but we were very pleased with our stay. There is also a great restaurant nearby called Chucks that has great food and entertainment.

Starting with a $32 charge for a pick-up at the cruise port, and ending with a $70 bill for two calls on a pre-paid telephone card, this left us with a bad taste in our mouths. No one likes to be taken advantage of, with an imprint of your credit card, you have no recourse but to pay through the nose.

I chose this hotel because it was priced more reasonably that many others in the area, which during high season are very overpriced for the amenities provided. This hotel is average in quality and not one that I would prefer to stay in, if I had my choice.
