Comfort Suites Airport and Cruise Port - Fort Lauderdale

Hotel feels, looks and smells aged. Needs renovation. Continental breakfast was clean and not busy at the time I was there. Did not like that they charge for the cruise shuttle service which was not written anywhere. Shuttle service to airport is complimentary. I feel that there way better hotels out there for the price range.

Great hotel overall. Breakfast was so-s, what you would expect from this class of hotel. Interesting that No Smoking signs are posted up everywhere, yet smoking is permitted because the signs will be taken down soon... Seems a little backwards with the times!

The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions and the best mode of transportation to get where you are going. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definatley stay here again!

This hotel is looking tired and in need of remodeling. Free breakfast was poor. Over use of airfreshener in room and windows that wouldn't open. The shuttle service is very pricey. Use it as a second choice, but there are better qulaity offerings in the area at similar price.

I chose this hotel because it was priced more reasonably that many others in the area, which during high season are very overpriced for the amenities provided. This hotel is average in quality and not one that I would prefer to stay in, if I had my choice. We checked in late after checking into a nightmare of a hotel down the street. The front desk attendant was helpful and courteous. Our room was clean although there was a very strong air freshener that had been sprayed up and down the hallway that was a little unpleasant. The beds were comfortable. Room had microwave and mini fridge, too. The free continental […] breakfast was free and boasted cold cereal as well as fresh fruit, waffles and scrambled eggs. It was a quick ride about 1 mile to the Fort Lauderdale airport. I would stay here again. Mehr

Elevator needs to be repaired. It went to floors that were not requested and didn't go to floors we needed. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location to the cruise port. It was run down and one of the worst shape hotels I have ever stayed at. The people at the front desk were pleasant but overwhelmed. They false advertise the free shuttle service. The only free shuttle was from the airport to the hotel. For convenience and comfort, and price, we were satisfied with our accommodations. Walking distance to reataurants and port of Ft. Lauderdale where we connected with our cruise.

The horel is worn. I was disappointed in the overall condition of the hotel. The location was great. We could walk to drug store and restaurant,

Room was not made up one night and the desk clerk didn't help much. Not a bargain for a bargain place. Breakfast was ok.

The room was not a suite. It was dusty. Only two of the lights were working. In the halls the paint job was sloppy. Renovation was going on and it was noisy. Free breakfast was good.

The room didn't feel clean. Needed to be updated and could have smelled better.

room smelled like mildew and the showers had mold around it. the customer service was very unprofessional and so was the driver.the room attendant was very apologetic and was extremly nice shout out to (ROMONA).

This hotel was very conveniently located. Lots of places to eat and the shuttle bus to the airport runs every hour. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Pricing was reasonable

The toilet ran all night. A Chiffarobe sat in front of the a/c blocking the air from circulating. The traffic noise outside the window was deafening, as the hotel should have been built sideways, but a noise reducing wall will need to be constructed to resolve this matter. I was looking for a good night sleep ahead of a test administration at the convention center. I was ready to go for the cheapest option available but was encouraged by my nervous mother to spend the extra couple bucks for a more reliable option. The Comfort Suites struck the balance perfectly between cost-savings and reliability. The gentleman at the […] front desk was very pleasant, and described the elaborate breakfast that was included in my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area left a bit to be desired, but the ample-sized parking lot is directly in front of the front desk and I therefore never feared for the security of my car or my person. Plenty close to the airport and the convention center, and the price is right. Very solid experience for what I was looking for. I'd call it no-frills if not for the extensive breakfast buffet. Plenty of fast food options nearby and a 24-hour CVS right next door. Highly recommended considering how economical it is. Mehr

This motel is slowly deteriorating and needs some maintenance if it wants to stay competitive. the front desk service is a little sloppy (forgot to wake me up). It is OK because close to the airport.

Fine to stay at for a night or so. Clean Quite Room. Close to the Airport

The air conditioner unit made so much noise that I couldn't sleep. Carpeting in the hallways must date back to the 70's, it's totally filthy. Should've been replaced years ago. The television reception was fuzzy and the remote had an annoying built-in delay. Elevator was the slowest I've ever been in, and noisy too. Overall a very unpleasant experience. […] I'd never stay here again, and cannot understand how Choice Hotels hasn't required a total update from the franchisees. Mehr

We needed a place to stay for one night on our way to other Florida destinations, and chose this hotel based on price and the fact that we'd stayed in other Comfort Suites. This particular hotel was on a busy street, it was definitely showing signs of wear (worn or not functioning elevator buttons, mildew in the bathtub, dated furniture). We also could […] not access the WiFi from our room and the staff's solution was to come to the lobby and use it. None of this was gross or unsafe, but I feel certain that you could find a better hotel for what we paid. Mehr

All was perfect; no luxury but practical for sure. The breakfast buffet was very tidy and good.

It did the job for overnight between flights, but I would try someplace else next time. The lobby and room smelled mildewy, and while everything was tolerably clean nothing was in good condition. The continental breakfast was not impressive. I'm not a very picky eater and there wasn't really anything there I wanted (when I went down, around 9 AM, just […] some tired looking hashbrowns and some powdered donuts). To get the airport shuttle to leave at the time we needed (9:30 instead of 9 or 10) we had to pay extra. There is a conveniently located CVS if you forgot toiletries. It's not a terrible idea to stay here. It just isn't a great one either. Mehr

The hotel itself is mediocre, the front desk staff is rude and very unhelpful. I ended up not using the shuttle to the port because I could not get any information from the staff. And a month later, when I checked my credit card statement, they had charged me twice for my stay! The only saving grace for this place was the polite manager who helped me […] on the phone. Elevator broken, had to walk up 6 floors after having had an evening meal. also following morning at 8:30 breakfast area was missing most food options and was 'dirty' with left-overs. In general common areas (lobby by elevators) it was unclean. Noise of room airconditioner was unbearable could not sleep. Grass was uncut at outside parking (about 1ft […] long). Large rooms. Clean. But TV's are old and selection of channels very limited and quite frankly , conservative. They brag about the breakfast , but it is absolutely nothing special.Overall just what I expected.

We stayed at this hotel right before our cruise. The hotel is very close to the cruise ports. It could use a little updating and a little better cleaning. It worked for us for the few hrs that we were there.

They had overbooked the hotel and we were upgraded to a Suite, which was very nice!

Great location but for the price I expected it to be nicer

The location is conveinent to the airport and the shuttle was helpful. The overall hotel was much less than expected. The pool was dirty and kids were swimming with diapers off. The breakfast was average and the room was no "SUITE". I was nerveous in the area to walk out for food and we heard sirens and motorcycles ALL night. We received extremely good service from the check in desk and were very satisfied with the standard of the room at the rate we paid. As we are CHOICE card holders in Scandinavia we were given an upgraded room - would recommend this hotel to others

This hotel is great for the Discovery Cruise to the Bahama,but they have been very late picking us up both times. The last time because their phones were out. They seem to be doing their best, but something always gets messed up.

hôtel spécialisé dans les aller retour de croisières,bien situé,transfert gratuit de l'aéroport et 10 dollards pour transfert au port,bus à proximité pour la plage et centre ville.

Dette er et greit hotell. Vi hadde 3 overnattinger her. Rommet var stort! Eget soverom, stue med kjøkkenkrok og greit bad. Rent og pent! De serverer enkel, men god frokost. Det er også en god shuttle-service til og fra hotellet. Vi brukte denne for å komme oss fra flyplassen, til sumpene, Miami og til cruiseskipet. Nous avons séjourné à cet hotel avant de faire une croisière. Nous avons été agréablement surpris. La proximité du port et de l'aéroport international est parfaite. Le système de navette est bien rodée. La propreté de l'hotel est adéquate. Le décor est bien. Le service de déjeuner inclut dans le prix est très bien et offre une grande variété. Le matelas […] était très confortable. Notre chambre était sur le côté d'une rue passante, donc un peu bruyant pour quelqu'un ayant le sommeil léger. Le rapport qualité-prisx était excellent. Il y a aussi des magasins à proximité pour des emplettes de dernière minute, incluant une épicerie, magasin du dollar et magamsin pour ahcat de boissons alcoolisé à 5 minutes de marche.Nous retournerons certainement à cet hôtel.
