Das war ein super Wochenende, in einem super Hotel. Essen und Getränke waren auch super, aber sehr Preisintensiv. Wir kommen auf jedenfall nächstes Jahr wieder...

Negativ fand ich, dass wenn Allergikerbettwaesche bestellt war, dass der Housekeeping-Bereich nur eine Polyester-Decke brachte und alle Kopfkissen in Federn blieben, den Sinn versteht hier wohl keiner, somit habe ich die halbe Nacht wach gelegen. Keine Rücksicht auf Allergiker wird hier genommen. Das Frühstück ist mit 28Euro berechnet, viel zu hoch, es gibt kein frisches Obst, nur aus der Dose, den frischgepressten Orangensaft muss man suchen, auf dem Tisch fehlte die Karte, was das Hotel an Eierspeisen so zu bieten hat. Der Pool ist viel zu klein für die Groesse dieses Hotels, ebenfalls auch die Sauna. Am Eingang befindet sich der Fitnessbereich, dieser Bereich sieht gut aus, aber weiter hinten wird's peinlich, grad mal 6 Liegen zum Relaxen, was ist das denn?

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Flughafen und ist praktisch, wenn man morgens nicht mehr zu seinen frühen Fliegern anreisen will. Wir haben das Frühstück nicht genutzt, da es uns zu teuer erschien. Im Squaire, in dem Gebäude, in dem das Hotel liegt, gibt es aber bereits ab 5 Uhr morgens Frühstück. Das hat uns gefallen. Gut ist auch, dass man den Rail-Check-In für Star Alliance-Flüge nutzen kann. da muss man das Gepäck nicht bis in den Terminal schleppen, sondern kann gemütlich schon vorher und ohne die langen Schlangen sein Gepäck abgeben. Das Zimmer Fiel etwas klein aus, länger als 1/2 Nächte würde ich es nicht aushalten. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schick und die Betten sehr bequem. Leider lag ein altes Taschentuch hinterm Sessel und am Duschvorhang befand sich ein schwarzes Haar. Wir fanden es nicht so schlimm. Klasse ist, dass man gar keinen Lärm hört,weder von den Fliegern noch von Bundesstraße und Autobahn, zwischen denen das Gebäude liegt. Die Klimaanlage ist nachts angenehm leise. Die Aussicht auf Taunus und Frankfurt ist toll, wenn man ein Zimmer nach außen und nicht in den Innenhof bekommt.

"Great hotel - Great location"
Breakfast is very rich and is 15EUR Hotel is located in a great location near the river. Nice staff and rooms were great Very easy to get there (located on the central train station)

"Easy walk to the main station"
Convenient, clean and helpfull staff. Has an odd knock on the door in the middle of the night and no peep hole to see who was knocking. Did not open the door to find out.

Hotel is across the street from the main train station and within walking distance of shopping areas and good restaurants. Room was comfortable, very clean- lovely pool on the top floor with a really nice view of the city.

I chose the hotel for it is very close to the central station, which I discovered later also means close to the red light district. The hotel is good, but nothing special. On the negative side, the noises from nrighbouring rooms were quite sharp, also, I smelled smoke more than once in the halls.

"it was a horrible stay"
this hotel is not very clean and advertise wrongly. the quality of the service, rooms and everything is less than 2 star not 4 star.
"Savoy Frankfurt - Convenient to Airport, but..."
We stayed at this hotel before an international flight home. The hotel is very conveniently located walking distance from the Main Train Station and is a short cab/train ride to the airport. In this sense it very much served our purpose going in and out of Frankfurt. All other aspects were rather lacklustre or mildly unpleasant. Our room was located […] directly behind the elevator shaft and four elevators make a lot of noise especially at night. The sliding shower door kept falling off its rails and the fixture for the shower nozzle was broken so you had to constantly hold the nozzle when washing. We informed a gentleman at reception who seemed less than interested. The staff in general were helpful with most things but generally distant. The food looked good but was rather bland and the piano bar was only open for breakfast (go figure). Overall, not the worst place i have ever stayed but the least impressive on this trip and thats compared to several hostel stays as well. Despite the convenient location, there are several hotels nearby that may well be better. The general area itself has limited eating-out options aside from Kebab/pizza shops, though the quality was very good considering. Mehr

This hotel was very convenient to the main train station, very clean, quite comfortable and a very reasonable price. The only draw backs was that the trolley outside was very loud and the surrounding neighborhood ( just a few streets away from the hotel) was quite an undesirable area. "covenient for airport stopover"
We stayed for one night as we were flying out the next day. This hotel is across the street from the main station in Frankfurt and adjacent to a metro stop. Frankfurt airport is about 15km away but is exceedingly well connected to just about anywhere. Taking a local train S lines from the airport took only about 20 mins and we were at the main station. […] Buy tickets from machine on shopping level before going down to platform. On arrival at the station, you can use the underground mall to cross the busy street above and exit using one of the escalators. The hotel was very nice with complementary beers in the bar fridge. A very nice way to welome you to their establishment. The swimming pool and suana is on the ninth floor which you can reach using the large elevator and your card. The room had electrically operated shutters. Switches on wall to left in our room which made the room very dark which was perfect. They had a happy hour for guests with 2for1 cocktails. Very good value. Breakfast could not be booked using hotels.com but they offer an extensive buffet breakfast with lots of cooked items for 15 euro. About 1km away is a reconstructed old part of town called Roemer which is a great place to visit. Mehr
Pretty basic hotel, far from the standard of a 4 star hotel. Bathroom door (sliding one) got jammed and in general furniture was very old. Location is excellent though, 3 minutes walk from the main train station and close to the centre of the city.
I looked around the room and there were little dead bugs on the ceiling or in the bathroom, once I got over that I was fine. The tub was too high so taking a shower was almost impossible!

"Savoy Hotel"
The location is great if you are using the train station. You don't hear the trains but the trollies in the street. Very comfortable and a daily English Wall Street Journal which was a nice amenity.

We had booked one room for 1 adult and 1 kid. We got a twin (single) bed. When asked they said we needed to get two. The clerk was unrelenting, unhelpful and inconsiderate. If they want American customers they need to either adapt or explain how they do it.

"It does the job"
The hotel is close to the station so very easy for travel into and out of Frankfurt. The surrounding streets don't have much to offer but it's easy enough to get elsewhere in Frankfurt. The room was basic - fairly small (I had single) and low-average quality fittings - but it was quiet, the staff were friendly enough and it did the job. "Interesting"
Ok in saying the the below i enjoyed the below and it was a GREAT value a twin bed in a 4 star was a real shocker for me but the biggest shocker was NO AC the bed was actually very comfortable and the hotel quite the staff was very nice I would not go with the 15 Euro breakfast package much better deals near by
"Hotel Savoy - Near Train; Decent Rooms"
+ very near train station, convenience store near the area, and several restaurants which is a close block away - very thin and almost useless curtains; if you can't sleep well with light, this might be a big problem, wash room is a bit small, i have to keep the door open to make it feel big.

I was there only one night. Something happened that night. First, I heard some noisy, like banging sound from next room, I thought some neighbors were fighting. On and off, it quiet down. Suddenly, a man showed up outside my room window as I kept the window a little open. It shocked me. The guy said he fell from the floor above and try to get back in […] hotel. I told him to back up a little and I would try to help him. He did so. I walked up to the window and closed it. I did know what would happen next, but I walked out my room and went down to the front desk and reported the incident. The representative acted quick. She called out a man to escorted me back up to my room. Next, he opened my room window and let the outside man entered my room and then left with him. I did believe that we had language barrier, but in anyway, did the hotel supposed to let me knew what was the story about the man? Why and how he could fell out from his room from his floor? And then bothered each rooms under his with no suspicions? Even though I am an old and strong lady, but there was no followed up explanation is unacceptable. I was wondering why there was nobody else answered this man even he banged so loud. Am I supposed to moved to other floor to avoid this kind things happen to me? - Nothing. I think this kind of things happened too often, that is why no one would concern my feelings. The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the central train station and hotel itself is nice too. I will still recommend it to my friend but I will let them know never get a room on the first floor. Mehr

"Awesome location"
This is not a five star hotel by any means. What the Savot hotel is though, is a hotel with the best location if you are arriving at the main train station in Frankfurt. Irish Pub "O'reilly's" is right around the corner and the train station is literally right across the street. Rooms are a bit small which is normal in Europe, but the bed is comfy and […] the bathroom is very modern and clean. I've stayed here many times and have always been satisfied. Two things I don't like: no free wi-fi and you must present a credit card at check in for "just-in-case" extra charges. No other hotels I stayed at in Europe did that. Not a big deal though. Mehr
overall is good hotel. Information pack says that hotel sauna is working from 07.00 till 22.00, but we were told sauna only works betweeen 17.00 till 22.00.

This hotel is very easy to find being located right next to the Hauptbahnhof in Frankfurt. The area is a bit seedy, and I wouldn't recommend spending to much time outside after dark being that it is near the red light district. When I was there the hotels hot water pipe broke so I didn't have a warm shower. The elevators were out of service, and breakfast […] was moved to another hotel, which still cost me 15 euro for cold cuts and bread. A days worth of internet was 12 euro as well. If you are looking simply for a place to sleep, this hotel might be for you, but then again that might be hard, considering that you hear trains coming and going at all hours of the night. Other then that, the hotel was actually very nice. It had a comfortable lobby. The rooms were small, even by European standards. They have small T.Vs in the room but there is a "pay tv" button on the remote, and if you press that then you get billed for that as well. All in all, if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep before you fly out in the morning, it might not be a bad place. If you are looking for anything complementary, you will not find that here (except the newspapers in the lobby) Mehr

hotel service and reception are good two main bad things in the hotel: 1- no room service 2- curtains in the room are very transparent which makes you wake with the sun rise , it needs black out actually this is a serious disadvantage. safe box wasn't working , I left a notice many times , no reply.
"VERY clean hotel"
This hotel seemed to take pride in making the guests feel comfortable. We stayed in this hotel two nights on our trip but with space between the two visits. The first time we checked in the room was not ready, so they gave us a space to put our bags and explore the city while we were waiting for the room to be made ready. When we got to the room it […] was extremely clean. Plus, the room (on our first stay only for some reason) had a free mini bar stocked with a couple beers, juices, waters, and a coke. This was a nice surprise in making your guests feel comfortable. We did have to pay for the mini bar on our second trip and we are actually not sure why as we reserved a nicer room for the second stay of our trip. The bar staff was nice and diligent in bringing drinks out the the patio where we could people watch. The staff at the front desk help us discover an amazing German Style restaurant. Overall this was a great hotel. I would easily go out of my way to seek it out on future trips to Frankfurt. Mehr

I needed a room for one night that would be conveniently located near the train station and this was perfect. The price was reasonable compared to others located in the area. The room was small was small and I got the twin bed, but that was ok because I was traveling alone. I could hear sounds from outside, but it was acceptable. Considering the price and location of the hotel, this was a great deal, the receptionist friendly, the room small but tidy and clean, quiet and the choices of the breakfast buffet really good, overall a good experience for a good price.

"Savoy Hotel in Frankfurt"
For a one day stay coming to or from Europe it is okay. They don't have free internet use for hotel guests - all the other hotels we used in Europe had at least one in the lobby if not in our room. The charge to use theirs was over 12 euros for 24 hours. I only needed to use it for less than 5 minutes to send an e-mail to family - better for me to make […] a phone call and check than pay this high fee. Not far from the hotel is a internet fee for use and it was very reasonable. The hotel drapes in our room were very dirty and didn't close - the lights from all the buildings was quite bright. The redeeming quality about this hotel is that it is less than a block from the train station to take us to and from the airport. Mehr

"little on the seedy side"
I can say the breakfast was good. The room cleaning person was friendly and did a good job. That's about all I can say positive. The bar attendant was cheating customers - short shots, beer glasses with 1/3 foam. and to top it off, most unfriendly. The safe in the room was inoperative. The steam bath and sauna were inoperative. The pool seemed full […] of an excessive amount of slimy chemicals. The hotel was situated near the red light district. For certain, I will never stay at this hotel again. Biggest complaint is the bartender who thinks a double shot is equivalent to about 1/2 shot, then charges for a double. Mehr

"Great Hotel"
Flew into Frankfurt for one night stay and needed a place close to the train station. This hotel was perfect for my needs and the price was right. Right across the street from the train station, so it was cheap and easy to get to from the airport. Bed was comfortable and quiet. I slept like a rock and would stay there again.

"Very Unsatisfied Guest - Savoy Hotel Frankfurt"
This hotel is sold as a 4 star hotel. I would say that it would struggle to receive a 2 star rating in the US. There is no AC in the rooms, which in the summer months makes for a very hot, stuffy stay. Being on one of the main streets in Frankfurt, opening the window to let in air also lets in noise from the street, road and tram line. There are no […] curtains on the windows, only a see through net curtain. My room was at the same level as a street light, so the whole room was an orange glow all night. Location is good for access to railway and therefore airport. Room small, no central heating, given heater that did not work, blind did not go down therefore no block out at night. Staff did nothing about the central heating. Very expensive internet compared with Berlin.

"Great room for the money."
Great price! Very convenient to the main train station which is across the street. Bed for two was only a double bed and was expecting a king size. Room size was tiny but clean. Breakfast was 16 Euro's so we opted out. The Red Light disctrict is only 3 blocks away and some of the guest looked questionable. Wouldn't take my kids to this area of town.
