Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

Wir machten einen Road-Trip durch Kalifornien und verbrachten die letzte Nacht in diesem tollen Hotel. Es war eines der besten Hotels unserer Reise. Mit Abstand hat es außerdem das beste Frühstücksangebot. Leider konnten wir aus Zeitgründen Fitnessraum und Pool nicht testen, aber es sah alles super aus. "Hotel in die Jahre gekommen"
Hotel Empfang war sehr unfreundlich, das Zimmer nicht bereit, im Zimmer roch es muffig, im Bad nach Schweiss, nach Reklamation wurde uns vom Hausmeister (einzige freundliche Person) gesagt das in den anderen Zimmer änlich sei. Am 5:30 Uhr morgens fing es an stark nach Speck und Zwiebeln zu riechen, da im Atrium das Frühstück zubereitet wurde. Draussen […] roch es stark nach Kerosin der landenden Flugzeuge. "bang for your buck"
The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was much more than I expected. Enjoyed the time in the pool as well. I would stay here again and recommand it to others.
"Rocky start but a great finish"
Airport shuttle was irregularly timed - still got to the hotel but I had to wait at least 30 minutes. Check in was extremely slow (someone called off) but the front desk clerk was very friendly and comped my internet for 2 nights. Hotel bar has incredibly poor service but the view of the bay is quite beautiful. Speaking of which, there is an excellent […] walking/running path along the bay behind the hotel. The free breakfast was quite good compared to other hotel chains. Check out was a breeze and the front desk clerk allowed me access to the business center even after I did check out so I could print boarding passes. "Excellent for ovenight park and fly."
We loved the hotel even though we were there only one night. Service was excellent and the bkfst was the best. Great shuttle service to and from the airport.
"Nice spot on the Bay"
The hotel has a nice view of the Bay, and is close to the airport and BART. There is also a nice walkway along the Bay. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet, despite the proximity of landing planes and the presence of a large group of high school musicians at the hotel for a nearby competition. It is also a short drive to San Francisco and Half Moon […] Bay, and Marin is also an easy drive. One problem is the lack of free wi-fi. "Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport - Waterfront"
The double beds in a double bed room are smaller than normal beds. Fit for one adult but cramp for two adults. It is fine for two young teenagers.

Large rooms and love the breakfast, plenty to choose from. Safe area and close to freeway and other resturants to eat at. Only problem was the parking they charge you and you end up parking in the fee area, which we did not know until after we left the hotel,, and they would not refund any money and at 17.00 per night that is a rip off. other then that […] the place is great...... "Convenient to airport and clean; nice breakfast"
For the money, the Embassy Suites Waterfront hotel was a good choice. Only negatives to be aware of would be if your plane arrives later at night, the restaurant closes at 11 pm. So after a 5 hour flight, you'd better pick something up in the airport or you'll go to bed hungry. Also the complimentary shuttle can be a half hour wait and if it's pouring, […] and there isn't enough room in the covered waiting area, you and your luggage will get wet. Nice hotel. Just like every other ES you have stayed at. The location, while close to the airport, is not ideal unless the airport is the only place you want to go. All of the food we had was excellent! My only complaint is that there was not enough elevators for the amount of people that were staying and stairs were not an option. "Not impressed!"
Hotel is old and in need of updating. Staff was friendly but not very helpful with tourist type questions. Charging $17/day for parking on top of the room fee is ridiculous! It's not like parking near this hotel is a premium!!!
Here for medical reasons, surgery, rest. Very good.

"Embassy Suites SFO airport"
The staff gave exceptionally nice service, especially Tim the front desk clerk and the staff at the morning breakfast. Can't beat an evening manager's reception and cooked to order breakfast. The interior landscaping was impressive, also.

"College Auditions"
We were in town to audition for colleges for my 17 year old the front desk girl was able to check us in early. we were able to iron her clothes and eat in the resturant before her first audition.Stacy the waitress was very freindly. Great weekend even with all the stress from the auditions.
"Embassy SF Waterfront"
We had a long drive and when we arrived, the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfasts served were delicious and the bartender was so helpful and courteous. The only issue was the hotel had very few luggage carts. But I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel they matter while on vacation or business.

Loved staying there...however, had to pay extra ($17.00 a day) for parking, $15 for each internet devise (really???) extra $$ for additional kids in the pool, etc. Why don't they just add it onto the bill and be done with it. "Nickel and Dimed to death!"
Although we had stayed at the Embassy Suites several years ago and enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and were happy with the quality of the hotel, our experience this time was far different. They have begun to charge $17 a night for parking and $14 a night for internet fees. Out irritation about the fees was compounded when we advised the desk about a […] problem we had had regarding having hot water in the shower. It took nearly 15 minuted for the water to get warm and never really got hot. We were told to ask for a room not in the 40's next time as they all had that problem. This really burned me as a native Californian, knowing how precious a commodity water is and seeing it so blithely wasted like that. So my advice: with nearly 60.00 in extra fees beyond the cost of your hotel room to look forward to and a company that doesn't seem to care how that treat the environment, better to look to the neighboring hotels for a better place to stay. "beautiful hotel but we had a few problems"
The room was cold at night, the shower had no hot water. for such a beautiful place we were very disapointed with temperature control. they have thermostats in room but they are for show only, central heating controls entire hotel, changing thermostat does nothing, i asked several times why theyhave a thermostat in rom and she repeated herself that […] central heating and air conditioning id throughout hotel. she would not answer the question. also no hot water in shower after 8 pm. "More important than just the facilities"
I believe that more important than your facilities is your staff. Try to check in at this hotel: the staff sounds like robots with super fast, pre-recorded welcome message being played back to you! You hardly understand what they are saying; but you won't care anyway because they don't! What a WELCOME!

"Great Hotel!"
I really enjoyed staying here. It is in a great location with great views of the bay. Workout facility was great as was the breakfast buffet that was included in our room. Most importantly...the beds were Super Comfortable! If I ever find myself back in San Francisco, I will stay here again!

Rooms too hot as you can't control the temperature because the are controlled by computers by hotel for all rooms. Woke up and had to open slider because it was 75 degrees in the room. Also great bar and was packed until at 10pm they said last cal! What????!!!

"Great for the price"
Hotel was perfect. Rooms were nice n clean. A small 20 minute drive to SF. Free Breakfast was a plus. Staff very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Maids did not clean room temperatures in rooms could not be adjust beds small. Bedfast good but want to get there early for tables and the social hour nice.

I stayed here because we missed our connecting flight to Maui. The free airport transfer and breakfast were excellent. We survived the night without wifi (an extra charge). The only drawback was the price.
"Embassy waterfront"
Compared to other first class embassy's its not! There is no free wifi, cell phone service does not exist. The room was 82 when I arrived, I tried setting the temperature before I left for the evening, came back and it was still 82. I was told the old way to get it cooler was to open the window. The breakfast food was amazing but poorly managed in its […] setup and how long it takes to get food. And finally when I was leaving, I asked where can I print my boarding pass? I pointed to the broken printer and toward, it might work..it didn't. Mehr
