The Marmara Taksim - Istanbul

alles passte recht gut, obwohl es zu den älteren Luxushotels in Istanbul gehört,ist es noch in gutem Zustand. Die einzige Kritik setzte ich an der unbrauchbaren Abtrennung zwischen Bad und Hotelzimmer an. Eine Schiebetüre aus Glas ist hierfür ungeeignet.

Sehr zufrieden mit der Lage, Hotel, Sauberkeit und die Angestellten sehr sehr nette Leute. Kann ich wirklich nur weiter empfehlen.

During my stay the concierge did their best to accommodate my request.

Didnt came to my minde that a hotel is providing post service. It is unusual to me. But i have experienced an after sales service with this hotel which makes me satisfied. I had a problem between website and credit card but the hotwl and the website team followed up for a week after my stay until the problem is being solved.

Near Taksim so ok but nothing special

The Mamara Taksim Hotel is second to none, its a good value for money, nice workers with good characters, always ready to assist. Good food too.

Spent 4 days here. Check in and check out was as easy as a breeze. Location was superb for my purpose - right in the middle of Taskim square. I love this hotel

Spent 3 days there ,arrived at 12 noon and had to wait till 2:00 pm for my room... rooms were clean but doesn't look like 5 star one ( small area & instead of the queen bed 2 twins were gathered which was not professional in styling ), it was located in a busy & crowdy district ( Taksim area ) with all those busses,Taxis , cars & people all around the […] place, i think if you are there for vacation only you can reach all nearby areas easily, but not for business purposes, Small lobby area with inappropriate red colour furniture , i think a 4 star was more appropriate for this hotel.. The hotel location is superb. Service wonderful particularly the Conciearge and reception staff. View from rooms excellent, suggest you sleep with open curtains to take full advantage of City

Secure, comfortable, great views of the whole city and conveniently located. The metro/subway is directly across from the hotel that takes you to Topkapi Palace, The Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar for cheap. Taxi's are lined up outside the hotel and are very reasonably priced to take you to the sites as well. Around the corner from the hotel, down […] the street, are coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores. Feels like a neighborhood versus a tourist trap. There's also an airport shuttle that leaves the hotel every morning for the airport for very cheap! The staff is friendly, professional and the concierge has an interactive, touchscreen overview of restaurants, points of interest, nightlife and information about the city. I like this hotel, since it was my second stay in Istanbul, and I could compare two hotels. Some of the draw backs of the Hotel are: Breakfast has an amazing view but the quality and diversity of the buffet is not up to the 20 euros price. Problem is that the personnel does not know that when a customer ask a question it is a polite request, and not […] only a question. I ask for a bigger glass to take water and the waitress brought me the bigger glass and then told me where to get the water. For a "5 star" hotel it is kind of weird I guess some training is needed. The choice of restaurant in the Hotel is just one with one menu and prices that makes you feel like skip the night snack. too bad since I was on a business trip and wanted only a light fare for diner. The room was very clean, trouble is that the second day the cleaning person did the room but forgot to put new towels in the bathroom which means an unpleasant surprise when you are already in the shower. The deco is good but the whole desk is occupied by a giant lamp and the tray with the coffee maker, I guess because of the plug location. In order to work you have to kind of moving everything. I have to say that I was happy with my stay. the hotel is well located and the room is comfortable. all inconvenience were minor but have to be mentioned since they should not have happened in a 5 stars Hotel. A little attention to the details, a light fare menu in the restaurant and a breakfast maybe more lit, I guess the fact that the breakfast room was poorly lit contributed to the unpleasant feeling, even though the view is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors or business travelers in Istanbul, but I would advise the management to care about the warmth of the dining room and the poor lighting which brings dullness to the food served. Also tell the pastry chef that danishes are supposed to be fresh not from the fridge nor freezer. Mehr

we stayed here for new years. this place is an excellent location. right outside is taksim square (new city) which is kinda like the times square of NY. very busy and very safe. however, do not eat at this hotel, the food is very expensive and not very good. Just go out of the hotel to down the street (literally 1 minute walk) and eat the gyro, rolls, […] sandwichs (all chicken or lamb), fresh squeezed orange juice/pomegranate juice. nothing like fresh street food, which Istanbul is known for. Only thing that stopped this place from getting 5 stars is the concierge staff. they are paid to send you to only certain tours,restaurants etc etc....in other words, do your research online and book everything online or in person, it will be cheaper and you will get a better authentic experience in turkey Istanbul. Very friendly, courteous staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Extremely accommodating to all our needs. Great views, great location.

Somewhat noisy from plaza just outside hotel. Otherwise great for the price.

you will be surprised at the entry because the lobby is not famous,and eventhougt i arrive earlier,the charming staff make all he can to check-in. when entering in my room,i forgot all my tired travel,and appreciate the wonderful flying carpet suite,clean,spacious,.me and my family had aprreciate all the services of the hotel(fitness,pool,sauna,hammam),the […] friendliness and charming,helpful mstaff.we really enjoyed our stay and the best of all was the location.i will not stay anywhere else at istanbul Mehr

Poor service. Got back from a day full of meetings at around 4 PM - the room still had'nt been cleaned by housekeeping. Called reception and asked why. The cause was, that they were fully booked! That is, in my opinion, a bad excuse. No pay-TV. Marmara viste seg å være et meget godt hotell, nær bussstasjon og metro. Sentralt på Taksim Square med mye som skjer i området. Fikk ikke brukt alle fasiliteter, men straks det blir varmere så svømmebassenget ut til å være veldig forlokkende. Veldig mange tv-kanaler, dog ingen engelskspråklige.

夫婦二人での旅行で利用しました。 アメニティは必要分は揃っていますし、サウナ・ハマムの利用は無料（マッサージは別）、ビジネスセンターの利用も無料でした。 ただやはりイスタンブールの見所からはトラムを利用する必要がありますし、旅行者向けというよりも、ビジネス向きかもしれません。 ボスフォラスビューの部屋にしたので、景色は良かったです。でも部屋は狭めでした。 スタッフはきちんとしていて、サービスは良かったと思います。

Mitt första besök i Istanbul(affärsresa). En fantstiskt hög servicegrad med en mycket positiv och trevlig personal. Hemtrevlig atmosfär trots att hotellet är stort. Hade många olika frågor men de löstes på ett mycket profesionellt sätt av personalen. Iréne

I will stay next trip same hotel

Her har vi et hotell som ligger perfekt til på Taksim. Svømmebassenget er fint, og treningsstudioet er stort nok. Vi hadde god størrelse på rommet, og det var lite støy. Dyrt med frokost og minibar, men det er heller ikke nødvendig å benytte seg av når en har all verdens kiosker, cafeer og butikker rett utenfor døren.

Hotellet ligger veldig godt plassert på Taksim plassen, og med svømmebasseng på taket var det mulig å få en fin avkobling fra den hektiske storbyen. Vi anbefaler å ta frokosten på cafeen Kitchenette i 1.etg istedet for standard hotellfrokosten.
