From the beautiful crown moulding in my bedroom to the elegant lobby, and marble renovated bathroom, I couldn't have been happier. The location is tops. Slipped in to Museum of Modern Art twice on limited down time and found great NY food market just around the corner for late night snack foods. Weekend buffet brunch was excellent and sumptuous. And onion soup at Randolph's for lunch was perfect. Would definitely go back!

The hotel is great since the renovation. Rooms are clean and spacious. Upgrades to suite are excellent. Internet charge at New York rates is not fair.

We had a very pleasurable stay at the Hotel Warwick New York. If you wish to be in midtown and close to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center and the like it is a perfect location. Our suite had lots of room, was clean, had a great bed and a nice view. The carpet was a bit worn and the furniture and furnishings are beginning to show their age, but overall it was comfortable and a pleasant environment. The bathroom was updated and was of adequate size. They should tell you that they are going to charge for the morning paper if you have it brought to your room. A fine 1920's hotel with charm and overall well maintained with friendly staff.

Our room at the Warwick was large, immaculately clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect for the theatre, museums, and walking. The staff were all extremely polite. Everything was just right! I would love to stay there again.

The Warwick upgraded us to a nicer suite which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly if slightly maladroit, and maybe the tone of the hotel service is a little bit stiff. However, all-in-all it was the perfect location and very satisfying four-day stay.

We were amazed that we were able to get such a great hotel in an amazing location during the busy Thansgiving week. This hotel is a typical NY hotel with old world charm but modern amenities. It was close to the Macy's parade route and many other great sights.

was pleasantly surprised, I picked it for the location because the 2 hotels where I usually stay were booked or room rate was sky high...the Warwick was very quiet, very clean, friendly and effecient staff. Very easy to get in and out. Unlike other reviews I read stating that the the elevators were slow I found no problems with elevators at all...great lighting/lighted makeup mirror in bathroom which is a plus for getting ready, I know men may not notice these things but being a woman who wears makeup and contacts it was great. Recently stayed in nearby popular hotel and the bathroom was DARK with no makeup mirror. Great value, great location. An older NYC hotel that is very well maintained.

STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY OVER THE WEEKEND AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY. LOCATION WAS GREAT, RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT AND ROOM WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING. ONLY ISSUE WAS THAT HVAC IN ROOM WAS VERY LOUD.

We found that the location of the Warwick to very convenient to many of the New York attractions. The hotel staff was particularly helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Warwick! All of the personnel was friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than expect for New York City, and the price was right. We were several blocks from Times Square and the Theater District, so the noise was minimal to non-existent. Love the Warwick!

We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service we received from the front desk staff. Our room was large and clean. I remembered from past stays that the elevators were slow, but did not have that experience this time. The hotel location cannot be beat -- we only took a taxi on one occasion, and really it was not necessary even then. Use of the small business center was free and basically unlimited. The bar staff were nice and there was always several people there -- very comfortable atmosphere. Really a great stay!

Other than being near the park, the theatre district, Times Square, and shopping... I wouldn't stay here again or recommend this hotel to friends. For the price there are others in the area with nicer/newer accommodations, pretty decor, larger rooms, and better overall impression. There wasn't anything bad about our stay, but it wasn't more than average in a city of spectacular.

Great Location and comfortable room. But the elevators took forever, and were small and a bit rundown. They also need more staff at the front desk there was a line to check out on Sunday.

I left an item in my room after checkout and did not realize it until I was back home. They found it immediately and shipped it to me without delay.

arrived at check in to be told that I had been upgraded to a suite! (god knows why, I had never stayed with them before) Lovely room with a bathroom the size of the average NY hotel room. Very friendly professional staff both at reception and in the very charming bar. A five star thumbs up!

First time quest. Can't wait to go back. Perfect location.

This hotel room was so small that two people could not fit into the bathroom and I am a small petite woman with a child. The carpet was very worn and the room was old and dated. Furnishings were minimal-30 years ago type 80's wood furnishings. It was clean but if I could've found something else last minute, I would have left this property. Ugh! ...and the restaurant food was horrible.

The hotel is lovely. Our room, however, was worn out. Clean, but it needed renovation (which is going on in the hotel, so perhaps they will get around to this room soon). I have stayed in other Warwick Hotels recently, and this one was NOT up to the quality I was used to (for way less money).

This was our second stay at the Warwick Hotel. We returned because we had such a lovely room the first time. The beds are super comfortable with down comforters. The room was totally quiet with no street or hall noise. Lovely marble bathrooms. Will definitely return on our next visit to NYC.

This hotel was so old and the bathroom was so small, I couldn'r get inside with a three year old to help him go to the bathroom. The carpet was old and worn. Everything in the room was out-dated. The furniture wasn't real hotel furniture, just stick tables and an ok full bed. What a waste of money, time and sleep! The food in the restaurant was not good. The ONLY thing good was the service.

Great hotel, location, and service ... not too cheap but way less expensive then other hotels that are not as nice.

I loved the location across from MOMA and around the corner from both Fifth Ave. shopping and the famous delis on Sixth Ave. The room was far larger than virtually all others I've stayed at in NYC. Bright, clean and comfortable bedroom. Nice, spacious bathroom. Good lighting. Even an umbrella in the closet. Hotel staff very accommodating - let us check in at about 9:30 a.m., gave us a late checkout and brought us ice after I had tripped at Rockefeller Plaza and already checked out! Efficient service checking in and out, let us know to use free computer to print boarding passes. We only had one slight delay with the elevator slowness, although others complained. Loved the property - will definitely be back!

My wife and I have stayed at the Warwick for years. Its close proximity to major arts venues (MOMA, Carnegie Hall, City Center) make it ideal for anyone wishing to pursue the music and art scene in NYC. Even the Met Opera is a walkable distance.

The staff greeted us with a welcoming attitude. The Front Desk teated us after a moment's wait with an air of excellelance, and the bellhop was extremely professional. The room was above-and-beyond perfection. Services were prompt and knowledgable. I can not say how much they increased the entire "New York Expierience"! Kudos and then more Kudos!

We were in town for several reasons, one of which was to attend the 2009 NFL draft. The proximity to Radio City Music Hall made the Warwick Hotel absolutely perfect. We also enjoyed the Museum of Modern Art across the street and Central Park a few blocks away. The hotel itself is a gem. Very clean, comfortable...we could not have been more pleased! We will definitely be back.

We booked a superior room. which was listed as having a view. The window looked out on another bank of windows. The blinds needed to be closed at all times so that people could not look in. The room was old and the furniture was worn. There was peeling paint on the bathroom door. The TV did not work. After 4 hours it was not fixed. It was very warm in NYC--close to 90 degrees--and the air conditioning was not working properly. After repeated calls and curt service we finally were moved at 10:00PM to another room. THe daytime desk manager was unsympathic and had no interest in improving the situation. Fortunatly the night time assistant front desk manager moved us into the other room.

I have stayed at The Warwick many times. It is my favorite hotel in the city. The service is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, and the location (directly across the street from MOMA) can't be beat. A great value for the price!

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The location was excellent but our room had no natural daylight so if your at all claustrophobic you may need to get it changed. The hotel was really nice and the service great, but, as we now know, drinks are on the pricy side in Manhatten. $20 (+tip) for a glass of wine and 1 beer. The deli's are second to none with fresh fruit and veg, pasta salads, hot foods etc. The business suite is free to use so you can do some research on the web for getting around but the concierge and reception were most welcoming and informative. Location is superb. Walking distance to Empire state, central park, grand central station, times square, fifth avenue, bloomingdales, macys etc. Would definately stay here again.

For our first time in NYC in a long time we guessed at what hotel to go to. This one was great for the price! The hotel was busy, but the staff was great! The location was close to the subway & offered restaurants, Time Square and the theater district in a quick walk. I have already recommended this hotel to friends & would stay there again if we got the great price we did this trip!

We were there over the Easter weekend so there was a full hous, but the only complaint we had was the slowness of the elevators. The bar is cozy and comfortable, the rooms and the bed were very comfortable. Great location-one block away from 5th Avenue and 3 blocks from Central Park!

We had a king size bed, which did not have a fitted bottom sheet. My husband is 6'2" and the bottom sheet was always untucked in the middle of the night. In fact when we checked out, we told the receptions man and another client was checking out with the same complaint. The bathtub needs re-caulking.

I've stayed at the Warwick before and I will keep going back because it's fine hotel that's reasonably priced for its level of quality. The staff is friendly and courteous, it's got a great location, the food is good in the restaurant and bar, and the room was comfortable.

We found that on checking into the hotel for an extra day that we booked by ourselves directly with the Hotel, that we got a rate considerably lower than the rate you charged. We were disappointed that Hotels.com did not offer the best daily rate. We will probably contact the Hotel directly next time and anticipate a better rate than your service. Too bad.
