Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!
"Favorite NYC Hotel"
The Warwick is my favorite hotel in New York. It is lovely and has an interesting history. The service is excellent and the location is great. I stay here every time I have the opportunity.

"Unconfortable stay"
Uncontroled room temperature. The hotel guy opened window to reduce temperature. Brown water at bath room. We could not use bath tab due to bad water.

The Warick is a wonderful boutique hotel with a very interesting past. The hotel was built by W.R. Hearst and used for his friends and associates. This was once the residence of Cary Grant, and the hotel used by the Beatles during their Ed Sulivan visits. Very good location across from MOMA.
"Warwick Hotel on 54th str-pleasant room"
We spent 5 nights here starting xmas eve. Had xmas brunch at Murals 54,very good,although they 1st tried to squeeze us into Randolphs bar for the brunch,and I walked out!! Murals is quality, Randolphs is comfy and staff sleepy, no hurry there. Rooms are spacious and comfy,slight paint smell as renovations on the go. Room staff very friendly,reception […] staff-not, concierge great. Should put room staff at reception and vice versa!! Location is good, close to Times square and Central Park, and Madison and 5th ave. All in all OK, although the price goes up each night of stay, not so good, should be the opposite ?? Mehr

Great hotel, close in walking distance to everything and Central Park just a few blocks away. My wife and I took our 16 year old daughter to NY for the first time and she loved it! We love staying at the Warwick. The staff is very friendly.. the rooms while not huge are more than satisfactory and have been kept in great condition. The Randolph Restaurant off the lobby is very good. The buffet breakfast is great.

"Good Location"
Our stay at the Warwick was a satifactory one as we did not stay long in our hotel room. When we arrived, the lobby was quite nicely decorated, but the hotel rooms need to be renovated. The furniture is worn and the carpet was not the cleanest. Upon arrival our phone and tv did not work. We called and they said they would send someone up and 2.5 hours […] later when we returned the items were still not fixed. So if you are looking for a hotel in a good location but not necessarily the most upgraded hotel this would work. The staff at the front desk were very warm and accomodating. Mehr

"Wonderful Location"
Our room was very quiet and comfortable and super clean. The location of the hotel was great. We were so close to shopping on 5th Ave and walking distance to The Plaza. We would certainly stay there again when in NY. The breakfast was great also.

The Warwick is a wonderful hotel with boutique feel. Very convenient and the staff could not have been more helpful! My teenage daughter and I had planned a day trip to Manhattan, however at the last minute, I decided we should stay overnight. It was the weekend after Thanksgiving and I began to search the Internet for a hotel that would offer comfort, cleanliness, a convenient location, and classic luxury at an affordable price. We found all of these things in the […] Warwick New York Hotel. Both my daughter and I were very happy and satisfied with the service, guest room, and the location of the hotel. It was great to be able to walk to all of the places that were on our "things to do list" which included a visit to MoMA, shopping on Fifth Avenue, and dining with friends at a restaurant near Lincoln Center. We wished we could have stayed at least one more night to enjoy the hotel and the city a little longer! Mehr

Very nice / friendly Hotel. Staff very pleasant and accommodating to any and all questions. Convenient to area. A little more than busy Thanksgiving Eve - could have used dining room open later, but every place was busy in area. Food was great! We would go back...

An overall wonderful experience beginning at check-in. We arrived well in advance of the 4:00 check in time and no problem with getting a room early. Loved the lobby bar. Got a great recommendation for an Italian restaurant within easy walking distance. Needed extra towels ( and a toothbrush) and they were brought to the room within minutes. Loved it. "Step in to my parlor..."
From the moment I entered the lobby I knew I had made the right choice for my friend's birthday weekend celebration. As it was her first time in NYC I wanted her to experience classic elegance. The Warwick was perfect. The glistening marble and crystal chandeliers in the lobby were beautiful. The bar was inviting with dark wood and leather seats, but […] don't go there for a bargain. Do go in though, and sip a perfect martini and breathe in the sophisticated ambiance afforded by the Warwick. New York State does serve alcohol until NOON on Sundays. We did not dine in the restaurant so cannot offer any comments there, yet the marghariti pizza in the bar was so delicious we ordered one each day. If you have never been to Manhattan the location of the Warwick is ideal. Midtown has easy access to theatres, Central Park, MoMA, TImes Square and much more. Book a tour to take in all the sites without having to drive but do take a subway ride! Also, exit the hotel to the left and there is a Manolo Blahnick shoe boutique. No marquee. It is a treasure. I had to return but my friends enjoyed themselves SO much they stayed two extra days. The staff at the Warwick were polite, prompt and efficient.They are there to serve you. I would stay there again without hesitation. Our room was perfectly clean. I did find a little card in the room that indicated a coffee pot was available by request ( a Starbucks is just across the street). Book a city view room if it is your first time there- otherwise the view does not really matter because the city is there, waiting for you, just a few steps away. Mehr

"Clean, comfortable and convenient"
Except for the bathtub faucet falling off, everything was just fine. It would be nice to have had bathrobes in addition to the towels.But other than that, it was a very nice accommodation--clean, comfortable and conveniently located.Breakfast was high-priced and not very good. Starbucks is nearby and recommended for breakfast.

"Cramped for Space"
The room was tastefully done, but very cramped. You didn't want to sit and relax there. Interior rooms have ugly view of brick buildings adding to claustrophobic feeling. We moved to a room with a better view - just slightly. Biggest complaint - no sleep timer on the remote for the TV.

"The Warwick Hotel in NYC"
We recently stayed at The Warwick Hotel in NYC. The hotel location was perfect. We were able to walk to Time Square, shopping on 5th Avenue and even able to walk to Central Park. There was tons of resturants to walk too as well. The area was very safe walking at night. The rooms were very clean and the beds was extremely comfortable. My teenaged daughter […] loved the "Bvlgari" Bath products the hotel provided to their guests in the rooms. The only negative remark I can say, was the alarm clock woke us at 5:30 am as the previous guest must have set it. Maybe the hotel maids could turn off alarms when cleaning the rooms....lol Mehr

Excellent location for culture and mid-town business. Steps from back door of MOMA. Personable staff. Efficient, 24 hour room service--limited but acceptable menu. Had a lovely, quiet, large renovated room with view of 6th avenue. Lots of outlets. Bathroom tub did not drain but was fixed while I was out. Worst feature is check-in/out desk is too small […] to accommodate numbers of staff needed to handle flow at busy times. Stood in line for 10 or 15 mins to check in and 5 or so to check out. They need to move baggage room up or down and put another desk there. Mehr
