The staff was extremely courteous and approachable! Location was excellent for sure seeing! Our room was comfortable spacious and homely! It didn't feel like a hotel! The only thing I would like to mention, a bit of a personal dislike was; the bathrooms did not have adequate ventilation for stream from the shower! Very minor and hardly worth not staying […] there! Booked this hotel for a one night stay to see a concert at the tivoli theater that is within walking distance. We were greeted by a friendly staff. One thing that I did not like was that they ask for a card to have on file for incidentals..not that odd, but what they don't say is that they are going to actually charge a large amount on it and not release […] it until 3 days after you leave, I was not happy about this and did not find out about it until after it had already happened. The rooms are comfortable and the bed is nice but the rooms are much smaller than you would think by the pictures. parking is very very very limited and tight. If you manage to get a place , leave your car there and walk because you won't find a place later and will be forced to valet park . The hotel did comp the valet when we couldn't find a spot so that was nice. The cleaning staff was knocking on the door an hour before check out, just "checking" rooms she said but was kind like we were being rushed to check out. The restaurant on site was not super. The staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was Ok but not great. Not a horrible experience but probably would try somewhere else if I were going back to Chattanooga . I spend a lot of time in Chattanooga but have never stayed at the double tree until now. I have really been missing out. Its a very nice hotel, the staff all seem very friendly. It has all the amenities you'd want including restaurant, bar and room service. Located very close(walking distance) to ball field, aquarium, theater, imax, restaurants and […] other attractions. I've never actually stayed at a 5 star hotel, but this has been the closest thing to it. I will stay here on all my future trips. Mehr

Booked room due to the location of the downtown Chattanooga attractions. The room rates for all of the 3 star hotels in this area ran about the same so the Double Tree seemed to be the best choice .

The hotel is right in th heart of Downtown Chattanooga and great for walking to restaurants, the aquarium, etc. Also a great free shuttle that will take you around the downtown loop! So, location was amazing! The hotel room was very clean, nice, and well-decorated. The bed was so comfortable and the view was great. However, the room was a bit small. the bathroom was not clean someone had used and made a mess - the front desk was ok .the one who made it really worth while was the young man who brought up our bags ,he would see us come and go and always ask was there anything we needed .he is the one who had someone clean the bathroom ,when we called the front desk to ask if they would send someone […] up to clean the toilet we waited about 20 min ,so we deciced to go on out and do something in town ,thats when we saw the young man that helped with our bags ,we ask him about the bathroom he went right then and the problem was taken care of. My friend and I stayed two nights. Room was comfortable and clean with all the amenities needed for our stay. Bathroom door was a little inconvenient with the bar so close but we learned to leave the door fully open and it left more room. Definitely lived up to their 4.6 rating when I booked.

This hotel was a great surprise. The rooms are very clean and modern. Overall a pleasant stay.

Right around the corner from everything you could want to do as a tourist in Chattanooga. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a blast. The hotel is very clean with most amenities you could ever want. The room was clean, bathroom was great, bed was comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect. You're a 5 minute walk from the main […] tourist area of the aquarium and surrounding restaurants. The front desk person (Spencer?) made one of the best restaurant recs ever by suggesting my wife and I head a little south of the hotel and hit up Urban Stack for a cheeseburger. I cannot begin to tell you how happy we were with our stay here. The rooms are modern and spotless, the resteraunt had superb service and even better food, and the staff...... I went on a road trip with my mom and stayed at numerous hotels including other doubletrees and this one was the nicest I've stayed in . The staff was so friendly . The food was very good and the room was the cleanest . I highly recommend this hotel you will be satisfied!

Great hotel front desk staff greated us with fresh cookies already bagged, all the information we would need for our stay hotel facilities, attractions and maps. parking is onsite at a resanable rate and everything is just blocks away from the Arts District to the River Front and all the attractions. Electric trams run every 10 minutes to all these […] attractions and it is free. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet, the price was fair with plenty of food but it was very bland and not all that hot, next time we would skip the buffet and go to the Arts District to a wonderful bakery that we found. Overall a great hotel, just park your car and spend the weekend just walking arount downtown and visiting all the attractions. Mehr

Nice hotel, good bed, room furniture about normal. Only issue was stopped up bathroom sink. I requested service on it, was promised a response, it never arrived. Otherwise, fine stay.

This hotel was great value and everything that is desirable in a hotel when traveling. The hotel was clean, the staff was beyond helpful, they were genuinely friendly. Although, the bathroom is the typical small bath found in most hotels, I was impressed with the efficient design and effort to make it pleasant, such as the openness at the top of the […] shower curtain to give more light and a feeling openness in the shower. We had dinner across the street at Sugar's Ribs and then a pleasant walk in the area. The hotel is easy access from the interstate, if one is driving. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. An added bonus: the delicious cookie given to me at check-in. Mehr

The hotel was lovely, convenient to everything in downtown Chattanooga. Staff were all very helpful.

Awesome hotel I will be back again. I stayed one night to attend the last night of the Riverbend Music event and hotel was fantastic! Location and Service outstanding. Every person we encountered at this hotel was friendly and helpful. Valet parking only couple dollars more than self parking it is worth it. We arrived and went to front desk to no clerk for appx 7-8 minutes. We didn't have a clue what was going on, very understaffed. Check in time was 3:00 and we arrived at 3:30 but we didn't get checked in till almost 6:00 pm due to cleaning staff didn't clean our room. The concierge comped our parking fee of $9.00 for the delay and gave us some cookies. […] Overall besides the late check in our stay was wonderful. The room and pool were very nice. This was my first time in Tennessee, I was there on business. I was very pleased with everything about this room. The room I had must have been recently updated - because it looks 10x better than the one pictured on hotels.com. Very comfortable beds, and a cute little bar that had a mini fridge and coffee maker with a beautiful pendant light. I think […] the entire hotel recently got a makeover - the lobby is very modern and attractive. There is a neat pool, so bring your swim suit if you want to go for a swim! The location is walking distance to the Riverbend and a bunch of fun restaurants. The staff was super friendly and really helpful. A really nice girl at the front desk recommended a really good restaurant and gave us a coupon. Also, the hotel bar was hopping every night and had a good happy hour. Mehr

My husband and I stay in a lot of hotels and this is the first time we used Doubletree in Chattanooga. The atmosphere was great and was very convienent to downtown Chattanooga. The staff was exceptional and the room service was high quality without the high price. We will definately stay there again!

Great stay at this clean, modern hotel. All furnishings and fixtures look new. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pluses are comfy beds, huge fluffy towels, yummy toiletries and in room recycling. The kids loved the heated saltwater pool. The only negatives are minor. They had an option to leave your towels on the rack to reuse to conserve […] water. We left towels on the rack but put hand towels and bathmat on floor to be replaced, but they were not. Also, room service menu and coffee lids not replaced. The vent in the bathroom wasn't hooked up. All said, Doubletree is a great deal-convenient to Aquarium, downtown and North Shore, with clean and modern rooms and an above average staff. Mehr

You will not be disappointed in staying here. They have it all. Great rooms, heated pool, friendly and attentive staff and warm cookies. I would recommend this place to my closest friends.

This is a great hotel! We've stayed here before and will keep coming back! We do girls weekends and concerts in Chattanooga often and couldn't ask for more. The 2br Suite is GREAT! Lots of room for everyone.

Three families came together to do an after Christmas gathering. The Doubletree offered all we needed for the adults and 4 young kids. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when we were trying to come up with things to do around town and places to eat. We especially liked the fact that the attractions we wanted to see were within walking distance […] from the hotel and we didn't have to load kids into car seats. We will definitely hit it up again when it's warmer outside. OH! And the best little surprise was the cookies we received upon checking in...warm and delicious! Mehr

The hotel staff was extremely nice. When we arrived in our room, there was a crushed dorito chip and a pill on the floor. It just looked like someone forgot to vacuum the floor, otherwise the room was very nice and clean. When we stopped at the front desk on our way out to ask them to vacuum for us, they upgraded us to a suite! We were greeted by the […] valet and the front desk every time we left or returned! We were in town for Christmas for a number of days, with our daughter who is in a wheelchair. We found everything to be comfortable, modern, and well-appointed. The only slight drawback was that the maid service was a bit haphazard--still, the room was very clean, the front desk staff professional and attentive, and the bed and bathroom attractive, […] comfortable, and nice. They have an outdoor heated salt water pool, by the way, with a firepit--it looked really attractive, but we hadn't planned for it, so didn't try it. Mehr

My wife and I stayed at the doubletree in downtown Chattanooga recently and I was impressed. The front dest staff was great and had a awesome dinner recommendation. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was just a few blocks from everything and there was plenty to do around town.

Room was nice and the bed comfortable. Really enjoyed a drink at the bar, great bartender.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree Hotel Chattanooga. We had asked if the breakfast buffet could be included in our stay and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to enjoy the buffet both days of our stay. It was magnificent! Room was a little small but very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is 1 block from the Children's Museum and about 4 blocks from the river and Aquarium. Neighborhood was safe to walk in and there were a good variety of restaruants to choose from.

Service was wonderful all the way from the valets to the housekeeping staff, room service and front desk. Easy walk to all. DO NOT pass up the cookies!!

My husband and I ordered room service several times during our stay and the room service was excellent. The food arrived quickly and the staff was very helpful. One lady even offered to get our ice for us from down the hall - we will definitely stay at the Doubletree the next time we are in Chattanooga.

My fiance and I stayed 3 nights over the Labor Day weekend and we had a wonderful time. We parked our car in the side lot (free)and didn't move it the entire stay. We went to Rock City on our way out of town on Monday. The hotel is beautiful and our room was very quiet. There were so many wonderful things to do and great places to eat within walking […] distance of the hotel. If you want to save money, eat breakfast at City Cafe(really cheap)or Blue Plate (limited menu, but great pancakes and breakfast burrito) We had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was very good. As previous reviewers have stated, the employees were so friendly and nice! Very close to the stadium and it would be great to catch a baseball game during your stay since everything is within walking distance. Close to all of the water attractions.
