Days Inn Dahlonega - Dahlonega

We stayed there for one night. Staff was friendly and room was old but clean. Overall ok.

Very good value with surprising views. Nice staff and management.

The room was clean and accomodating. The ice machine was conveniently located outside our room; unfortunately, it was broken. The desk clerk was not only very personable, but went out of his way to get ice for our cooler as we were leaving the hotel to complete our trip. Would definitely stay there again when in town.

While my room was fairly nice and clean (it didn't have much but we didn't plan on spending too much time in the room), the hotel staff were some of the most interesting I've dealt with. When I checked in, the frost desk tried to get me to sign up to be on their mailing list and didn't seem too pleased that I booked my room with hotels.com. It wasn't […] too bad, but it was a little annoying since I just wanted to get to my room. When I checked out, the front desk asked me not to use hotels.com again and specifically told me to call them to make my reservation! He then pestered me to get my e-mail address so he could put me on their mailing list (which I didn't give). I plan on going back to Dahlonega again, but I'll stay somewhere where I'm not lectured for having used this site instead of calling the hotel! Mehr

OMG Are you kidding me? My kingsize bed felt brand new which equals incredible nights sleep. The Room was surprisingly large and the view (2nd floor) was breathtaking. It would only be better if some of the front trees were trimmed but... still great view. The fridge/micro combo was very handy. The bathroom was very clean and seemed recently upgraded. Staff […] seemed genuinely cheerful and helpful. Very well lit at night. Breakfast is nothing to brag about but a warm bowl of oatmeal on a cold morning always hits the spot. If not a toasted bagel with cream cheese and hot coffee will. It's sufficient. I will definitely be back. Mehr

If you are looking for a safe, clean, friendly low-cost place to stay near Dahlonega, the Days Inn is perfect. If you can get a room on the second floor, you might even end up with a great view! The wireless internet worked very well. The owners take pride in their property, take good care of it, and are very friendly and helpful. The location is about […] a mile from the historic town-square ... a hilly mile that is too far to walk along a busy road. There is a McDonald's within walking distance as well as a gas station with a convenience store, so you can get the basics without getting into your car. Nothing fancy here ... the TV is not a flat screen, but it worked very well. There was a full size ironing board and iron, a hairdryer, a rather large "mini" fridge, a small microwave, and a coffee maker. The pillowtop mattress was comfortable. I've endured some nasty hotel rooms to get a good price, but this one was a sheer pleasure. The breakfast is basic continental, with cereal, pre-packaged pastries, bagels, bread, apples, and bananas. Title says it all. All I wanted was a clean, inexpensive hotel in a safe area during my business stay in Dahonega. That's what I got here. Very nice and helpful staff, as well. Will definitely stay here again.

The Days Inn Dahlonega was fine. That's all there really is to say. It is your extremely basic, two star hotel. No internet, no amenities, but cheap. Definitely good for overnight travelers who just need a place to crash. Other than that, not the top place I would recommend. Clean and friendly staff. Not the top notch but nice. Would stay there again.

I would recommend it if you´re only passing through, like we did. Ok/nice pool, but very close to a big street with traffic - which we were aware of. Easy access ;) Clean place, but no space for breakfast, which we had to eat at the only table - next to the front desk.. Nice people at the front desk.
