Das Harbour Court Hotel ist ein sehr schönes und modernes Hotel mit hübschen Zimmern und einer tollen Lobby, in der man ganz gemütlich sitzen und seinen Frühstückstee oder -kaffee trinken kann. Die Lage ist auch gut - selbst zu Fuß kann man, sofern man etwas gehfreudig ist - die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Die Aussicht ist allerdings natürlich […] nur im vorderen Teil schön - die anderen Zimmer haben z.B. einen Blick aufs Nachbardach. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Ich habe unser Zimmer als drei-Tage-Special gebucht. Das vermeintliche Schnäppchen hat sich dann aber schlichtweg als Buchung des kleinsten Zimmers im Hotel erwiesen, und das war gerade mal Queen-Bed-Größe plus maximal 1m Umlauf - beim ersten Anblick haben wir erstmal geschluckt. Aber bis auf die Größe war es trotzdem ein tolles Zimmer - sauber und modern. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, direkt am Meer, das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in akzeptabler Nähe, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, unser Zimmer war super, rundum alles toll. Das einzige, waas wir Europäer vielleicht vermissen ist ein Frühstück im Hotel, es gibt leider nur Kaffee morgens und man muss sich aus dem Hotel […] bewegen oder aber man benutzt den Zimmerservice für Frühstück. Das wollen wir aber nicht, deshalb hier einen kleinen Abzug in der sonst rundum gelungenen Hotelpräsentation. Mehr

Super-Lage nahe Market Street u. Ferry Building, ruhig und komfortabel

Sehr nettes Service; kleine Zimmer, großes Bad; etwas laute Klimaanlagen auf den Dächern; jeden Tag complimentary Wein Empfang zwischen 17-18 Uhr, Wasser und Kaffee zur freien Entnahme an der Rezeption; sehr gute Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden, tolle Laufstrecke an der Bay entlang.

This was a great value for the money and location. The room was a bit small and the facility older than I prefer. The staff was wonderfully accomodating.

This hotel is in a great location...across the street from the ferry building where we had dinner reservations at The Slanted Door. The room was small but had everything you'd need. the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. the service was super! Can't wait to book another room!

I have never had a bad experience at a Kimpton Hotel. We stayed the night of NYE 2012 and this hotel was fun, a complimentary happy hour wine/beer bar in the lobby when we first arrived. All the staff was super friendly/helpful. The room was very small, as expected in Frisco but it was clean and that is what matters to me. A great hotel :)

Second stay at this hotel....across street from Ferry Building. Well appointed....lots of restaurants in area. Parking is well organized and cheap by SF standards. Staff are outstanding.

The room was pricey on New Years eve but had a good view of the fireworks and a good stay. The hotel is dog friendly so if you don't like dogs you might want to look elsewhere.

We were extremely pleased with most everything, had two set backs, requested king bed, got a queen, they comped the parking, and could not return to room after 2012 year until 3 am. problem with the computer. They gave a full refund. They were so accommodating. we will definitely return.

Great location for viewing the New Years fireworks!!

Great location right next to the Ferry Building! Room was small, but clean. I was really happy with place until I got back to my hotel and found out that nobody could get into their room. It was 2 am on New Year's day. The entire hotel had to sit in the lobby. People were drunk and passed out all over. Honestly, I have never heard of the computer system […] not allowing anyone into their room. There was zero compensation for this, kind of shocking. Mehr

We had some trouble w/ our internet connection & they credited our parking charge. Hotel is very comfortable & clean. Close to Ferry Bldg/Embarcadero. Would stay there again w/ similar rate.

Right by the start of Market, and Embarcadero, this is a perfect San Francisco location, close to everything. Rooms are a little small, but it is otherwise very nice. Great resto downstairs...

We found the Hotel staff very corteous and friendly. They tried to get us a room early but was not cleaned. Just waited a while for nothing. Bed was very comfy and no disruptions at all. The only complaint is the small bathroom but you go to SF to be in SF not in your bathroom.

The hotel staff we so helpful and friendly. We were given a glass of wine as we checked in and then later in the evening, they served milk and cookies! What a homey feeling to have in a big city.

We were treated very well by all the staff. They were helpful and courteous. We stay in San Francisco often and have already recommended the Harbor Court to friends.

The excellence of your staff was the finest I've ever encountered. Kind, professional, helpful. So easy to walk to the best restaurants, farmer's markets, galleries and transportation. My room looked out onto the Bay Bridge. I kept my shade up 24/7 to watch the ships, sail boats and lights on the bridge. I only wish that a staff person had pointed out […] the vast drawer storate under the bed! I asked for perfect weather when I made my reservation and that was provided each day as well! Perfect for my daughter 5, n my mother, n they are dog friendly (pug). Their coffee was terrible, overall the price was a sure winner.

Great hotel! Paid a bit extra for a view, and was glad I did. Would definitely stay here again!

this is as good as it gets. great staff and room with all the amenities notwithstanding the free extras of wine tasting at 5pm, cookies at 9pm and best coffee and hot chocolate in town from 6am to 11am in lobby and you get to print your boarding pass for next flight. If ytou have a pet they will pamper you.

I stayed in a standard room with queen bed. I liked the hotel and would stay again. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Euro type setting with small rooms but if you know that going in you will have no issues. The staff was friendly and location is great as within walking of shopping cafes and movies. The location works nice if you […] want to do some shopping and do not mind walking a little distance. The benefit is you remove yourself from all the density of Union Square while you still have the ability to get there. Mehr

The Harbor Court is clean and dog-friendly, and located in great place for San Francisco exploration. Parking is a challenge, plan for the valet or feeding meters.

comfy hotel, decorated beautifully. the only thing i would like to see different here is a breakfast included in your stay. wine hour every night was a nice perk but neither night i was there i wasnt around for wine hour.

I spent two nights here in November 2011. I found it to be a very convenient location as most public transport is very close and there are many points of interest within walking distance. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room I had was a litlle small, but well appointed and clean. There was also hotel wi-fi available. One thing […] I think makes this hotel special is the 'events' they offer each day. There is a very comfortable lounge area ahere guests gather for coffee each morning, a wine tasting each evening and there is even milk and cookies offered later in the evening. It almost feels like you are staying at someones house! If you want a comfortable hotel as a home base with good personal attention - I would suggest you try this one. Mehr

I would love to give a negative review just to keep this wonderful secret to myself. Alas, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night because their just so amazing over there. This place is dog friendly so you'll see some happy floppy ears some mornings when you're in the lobby getting your free pastries and coffee. Very quiet, spacious, titanic-period feel, […] unique with charm. Has two entrances on the ground floor making walking to sights a breeze. I will ALWAYS check here first from NOW on and I've been coming to SF for years on average once every three months, to sometimes three times a month. This place is on my map!! Mehr

I've stayed at this hotel before and the room I had before was much nicer than the one I had this time, which seemed as though it was designed for disabled access; wide doors, adjustments in the bathroom. This time I also had a glorious view over some air conditioning units. That's just how it goes sometimes I guess.

We stayed 2 nights before going to wine country. The location near the bay was perfect. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another night before flying home. It was the perfect location for enjoying Fleet Week and the open market on The Embarcadero. It was close to BART and the streetcar. We plan to return to San Fran. and would not hesitate to stay […] at this hotel again. The rooms are small but pleasant with comfortable beds. 'Walking distance to my granddaughter and so many other favorite places! A great staff,,,I love this boutique hotel! The rooms are small, but, cozy and well done...the beds are fabulous! Since I've visit ed A LOT the past two years, I really appreciate the lower online prices available at certain times.

It was my wifes and my anniversary and the hotel staff upgraded our room on arrival noticed it was stocked with a bottle of champagne and strawberries. Very nice touch and great service. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. There was some wear and tear in the room, bathroom specifically, but that's to be expected with an older hotel. Great location […] for walking everywhere and bart/muni/streetcar everywhere else. Quiet, with great views of bay. Keep in mind that parking can get expensive and not included in price. my stay at this hotel was very pleasant. the staff was really nice. just beware of the residual charges. It costs $45 to have them valet your car , but there is no street parking so you are forced into it. The room service was very ok, but extremely overpriced. Very nice hotel; a couple blocks from the ferry building (farmers' market on saturdays and nice little places to eat at); staff was friendly and hotel even offer daily wine tasting in the evenings around 5-6pm as well as milk and cookies later around 9pm :) rooms were a bit small but that is expected; very clean and friendly staff

AND many wonderful restaurants withing three blocks. Rooms are small but well appointed, CLEAN, and bedding very nice.

Very nice hotel very conveniently located on the Embarcadero with a nice view of the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island. Some reviewers complain about tiny rooms but we stayed in a King -standard and it was not cramped at all. Pretty quiet on a Friday night, no excessive street noise on the 4th floor. I wish we'd arrived earlier to enjoy the wine reception […] in the stylish lobby seating area. $29.50 over-night parking on Friday night in the garage around the corner on Howard if you want to save a little on valet, who use the same garage. Saturday morning visit to the Farmers Market at the Ferry Building across the road was very enjoyable. A great weekend getaway. Mehr

This is a nice hotel in a nice area of San Fran. Service was very good - I love Kimpton Hotels. However, if you book the "full size" room (room numbers ending in -01), you will be in the tiniest hotel room known to mankind. They actually designed the space well, given the size, but jeez...luckily I was staying alone in my room. There is NO WAY that […] 2 people could be comfortable in the space. So, for the solo traveler, you can get a good deal at a nice hotel, so long as you are aware of what you're getting into, and don't bring a big suitcase!!! Mehr

No "bells and whistles" and the price reflected it. Very clean and quiet, great staff. The room was tiny but adequate and very nice. I would recommend to anyone.

We had an awesome experience! Nick at the front desk was super helpful. He let us check in early, upgraded our room to a City view (instead of courtyard) and sent some Champagne and chocolates as my friend and I were there to celebrate my birthday. I live in the South Bay and my Boyfriend and I go up to SF quite a bit when we have friends in town. Until […] now, I have not been completely happy with any place we have stayed. Not only will we be staying here again, but I will defiantely recommend to others looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good neighborhood that is close to most anything you are looking to go do or see. I love this little hotel. The location is perfect for enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Emarcadero/Ferry Building area and the staff is amazingly helpful. All in all, in was a perfect night spent in an amazing City
