Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.

"Fairfield Inn by Marriott Seattle Bellevue"
There was construction being performed at the Hotel. Large plastic sheets hung in the lobby and the floor we were staying on smelled of paint fumes as they were working on other rooms on that floor. I had to open the window to provide some fresh air from the fumes.
They were in process of remodeling which we did not know about when we booked. However, it was quiet and our room was clean and comfortable.

We have no complaints. The Fairfield Inn was beautiful. Our room was so clean. The service was extremely welcoming. We are very thankful. They had renovation going on. I can only imagine how great the hotel will be when they are finished. No regrets!

The hotel was close to the freeway and was clean and comfortable. We would stay again anytime.
Employees need to be more agressive on thier customer service, Like greeting you when you enter. Not waiting until I spoke to them. In over 2 days I was there, olny ONE employee said goodmorning and She was off duty. Not good customer service!
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield. The staff were all very accomodating and extremely helpful as well as welcoming. We had car trouble as we arrived and the young lady at the front desk helped us find a mechanic that could help us with our problem quickly. The rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. I made my reservation on line. It was advertised to have pillow-top mattresses, however my room did not have a pillow-top mattress.
"NIce Weekend Get Away"
Spent the weekend. The hotel, free breakfast and staff were very nice. Had a few issues witht the card keys. Only real complaint was the air conditioning unit and the in room fridge were very loud -- not good if you are a light sleeper and I am.

"Fairfield Inn in Bellevue"
The rooms are small and the beds are not very comfortable. TV is old school and color going out. The bathroom became very foggy after each shower as the vent did not seem to work well. Our air conditioner must have been going out because it made loud noises before turning on all night long. Pool was over salted and hot tub was yellow . "Acceptable but not preferable"
The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are small and the beds are not very comfortable. The room became very "stuffy" after each shower. We usually stay at a different hotel in the area, with many more ammenities, but it was unavailable for the dates we needed. For the price, it was acceptable. "Why do pool maintenance-Saturday morning?"
We were looking forward to a swim and hot tub before we continued our trip Saturday morning at 9:00. The bad news was that the facility was closed the entire morning for maintenance. Why not do the maintenance during the time it is scheduled to be closed? We were disappointed.

Very spacious & clean room. Hotel staff very helpful. The girl in the breakfast area could use help on the weekend. She was running all the time. Would definately stay at this hotel again. We were extremely satisified.

"Excellent hotel, met family vacation needs"
My family enjoyed the comfortable beds and clean rooms. Our room was maintained throughout our stay. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices to satisfy all tastes. The rooms are all smoke free and it was the first time we have stayed at a hotel that the room didn't smell funny. All the staff we talked with were very friendly and helpful. "Marriot does it right!"
We stayed over on a Saturday and Sunday. The hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had to use our GPS to locate the hotel however. The staff was courteous and provided a roll-away bed for our room for our son who decided to stay with us. Cont breakfast was fresh and much appreciated. I was very disappointed in this hotel. I booked this hotel because it had air conditioning, but it didn't work properly when we arrived. I also booked a king suite with a sofa and kitchenette, which consisted of a chair and mini-fridge and microwave when we got there. "Great if you have a cooler"
Everything is fine about the hotel, but I have to eat every 3-4 hours due to my diabetes and you only get a refrigerator & microwave if you stay in a King size room. Any other hotel I stayed in while in WA had refrigerator & microwave in every room and was a little less per day. I have stayed at the Fairfield about 4 times while in Bellevue, but I will […] be looking to stay somewhere else that has a refrigerator at least in the queen bed rooms. The staff were very friendly and directed us to a great place for dinner and provided a map. The pool and spa were clean and relaxing. The room was very nice, provided everything we needed, especially a good restful nights sleep. The breakfast area was clean with a varity of choices.

The service was exceptional - very friendly, very personal, very genuine. We stayed for three days and each day our room was cleaned and freshened while we were out. The breakfast is quite filling and the people who work in there are very attentive- to the point of noticing the needs of the elderly and bringing their breakfast to them. Good hotel, comfortable and clean. My family found it on Hotels.com and were pleased with the hotel. It was a bit difficult to find and tricky getting on and off of the freeway. We would stay there again.

"What I had expected."
It was pretty much what I figured I would get for the money paid. The front desk staff who checked me in late in the evening could've been a bit less cold, especially considering the late hour of check in, clearly I had already had a long day. The few other staff that I had contact with were very pleasant though. The morning breakfast was nice and there […] was a nice room to sit and eat as well as a patio area to eat outside which was very nice. The location is a bit of a headache to get in and out of if you aren't familiar with the area and the constant need to make U-turns. It was very odd to have 3 Marriotts sitting next to each other...if I hadn't remembered the name "Fairfield" I would've very easily walked into the other two first since this one sat slightly behind the other two. All in all though, a comfy bed, hot shower, and I would stay here again easily. Mehr

Enjoyed the hotel/room but ended up sleeping in the chair-( king bed empty) it was so hard and uncomfortable. But I loved the price!!
