Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Der Empfang ist überfordert.Frühstücksangebote überteuert.Die Poolanlage ist Super Kein Urlaubshotel für 1 Nacht um zu seinem Schiff zu kommen ideal.

Sehr schönes Eckzimmer, hell, riesen Bett. Alles sehr sauber. Absolutes Problem ist das Frühstück. Nur 2 Tische für das gesamte Hotel, mussten 2 Morgen im Zimmer frühstücken (ansonsten kein Platz). Zu Fuß ca. 15Minuten zum Meer, Parkplatzgebühren sehr moderat.

1 Übernachtung unserem Weiterflug ab Fort Lauderdale, Hotel ist ca. 10 min vom Flughafen entfernt, war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut: Bagel, Waffeln, Müsli usw. Können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Lediglich die Umgebung des Hotels war nicht so schön, hat was von einem Industriegebiet.
Lage
La Quinta Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Cypress Creek liegt in Fort Lauderdale (North Fort Lauderdale). In der Nähe befinden sich: Fort Lauderdale Stadion, Palm-Aire Country Club und Casino Baden-Baden. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: Hugh Taylor Birch State Park und Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.

Obwohl der Norden von Fort Lauderdale größtenteils aus Wohnvierteln besteht, lockt die Brandung am Pompano Beach und am Deerfield Beach dennoch viele Besucher an. Die reichliche Meeresfauna und -flora in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea sorgt für ein besonderes Tauchvergnügen. Gleich nördlich vom Stadtzentrum befindet sich Wilton Manors, eine bekannte Schwulenenklave. Die Stadt Coconut Creek bietet den weltweit größten Schmetterlingspark Butterfly World, wo freifliegende Schmetterlinge, Papageien und Kolibris zu bewundern sind.

Improved since the last stay. Mgt is better. More maintenance is still needed but overall a good hotel for the money. Increased presence of drugs by guests and dealers.

The door to the bathroom could only be open easily on the inside. We had a hard time trying to open it from the outside. The personel at the front desk is not very nice. The food was pretty good but it was a mess trying to eat there.

When we were checking in, three guests were at the counter trying to check in. The one Guest Services agent behind the counter spent 10+ minutes on the phone with someone who was CANCELLING reservations for OCTOBER. All of us were quite frustrated that we were being made to wait for someone who was not even going to stay at the hotel. Not smart. Everything […] else was fine. Mehr

This place was much better and the size of the room and it's ameneties were fantastic..Mini Fridge, Microwave, Sofa, full dresser, desk, AND a King-Sized bed....I've spent more for big name hotels and got much less...Yes, I would stay here again.

While I understand that smoking is a preference from hotels.com, I just don't understand why it had to be so unclean. Maybe I am just not used to being in smoking areas, but it was pretty dirty. The couch had a thick layer of soot from the smoking. We walked around for a few minutes and found that our feet were black after touching the carpet. The hotel was very reasonable and was clean and well kept. It's located close to I95, so it is easy to get to most places from there. The breakfast was very good for a do-it-yourself breakfast.

The price was very good, the Inn was a place reflective of the price. Clean, showing it's age and a good value for the cost of the room. Breakfast was very good. Not a lot of choices but plenty of food. All the basic were provided and in good working order and clean.

I was looking for a low-cost alternative to the resort hotels and found it here. I have typically had good luck with La Quinta so I figured I would take a chance on this one. The price was cheap and the hotel was too. Upon check-in there was only one non-smoking room available for our group of three rooms. In my room the bathroom hadn't been cleaned […] and there was a dirty towel hanging from the shower rod. The room was also missing soap and shampoo. "Wow not in a good way"
We chose this hotel for location and price the saying is true you get what you pay for. We had a reservation for Sunday and we made good time and arrived early around 11am and took a shot that our room might be ready so headed into the counter. The front desk manager was not nasty but far from frinedly she took our number and stated she would call us […] when the room was ready. well that never happened when we returned at 3PM she stated the room was ready but had no towels. She then called someone over the radio and loudly stated to him "you need to put towels in room with the king bed the two men I was talking to you about are back to check in to the king bed room" Yes we are a gay couple and there was not reason to communicate that way and bring attention that we were taking a room with a king bed it was just in poor taste. We waited an hour never to the towels had to call then the delivered them to the room. One of the towels had what looked like blood stains all over it. When we looked in the shower there was a used wet towel in the tub. There were ants in the bathroom and the bathroom was not that clean. The back entrance of the hotel where most guest use to get to the parking lot is a hang out for employees speak on their cell phones and smoke and use fowl laungauge. "Great Value!"
Great room included a microwave, frig, and coffee maker and a most comfortable bed and lots of bed pillows. We were extremely pleased! Very clean and located conveniently. We will go back when we need to be in the Fort Lauderdale are.

When I checked in, my room was automatically upgraded to a King Suite, Staff was very friendly, and the room was more than what I expected. In the bathroom they have jacuzzi made into the tub & shower. I would rate this hotel an A+.

I have stayed in La quita which was better than this one. Although our stay was pretty comfortable the hotel can definitely improve its housekeeping. The problems were minor but they give a not-so-good impression.Eg. hole in the bedsheet,inadequate number of towels.The staff was courteous in acknowledging the problems. "Very good experience at the La Quinta Inn"
I have to say that the visit did not start off very well - none of the appliances were hooked up and we found that the refrigerator-freezer did not work. But, after a pleasant visit to the front desk, the refrigerator was replaced and everything worked fine after that. The service staff was just outstanding. The continental breakfast was top-notch and […] we had a wonderful visit to Ft. Lauderdale for our grandaughter's wedding. Thanks to all. Jim Mehr
