No hair dryer available

There is major construction happening right now so there is no lobby, no dining area, and no fitness room. The room was nice though and the staff was friendly. I'm sure that this will be a good place to stay once the contruction is done. Doesn't look like it's anywhere near finished though.

I was at the Courtyard 1 night while I was at the Skating Championships in San Jose. It was a very comfortable hotel, and the newly renovated rooms were fabulous. It was a safe location for 2 women alone, and the breakfast room at the hotel offered a good selection of food that we could eat and leave before we went on to our busy day. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean , bright , and we had a lot of privacy . They were renovating at the time , but we never heard a thing .

After driving for 6 hours, arrived at hotel & spent 20 minutes- with luggage, circumnavigating hotel perimeter in search of the lobby or check in desk. A few unlit cardboard signs vaguely direct one to the elusive front desk. No wi-fi as advertised in the room- you are stuck to the desk in the room, with an ethernet cable. Very close to the airport and with the parking for ten days free it is the only place we stay. Nice resturants in the area and the staff and the hotel is very nice. Will always stay there first.

Very nice facility at a fair price...

The hotel said it could sleep five people when we arrived the front desk person said we had two double beds. How could five people sleep in two DOUBLE beds, so they switched our room to a king size bed and a single/doublish put out couch. We were informed that this hotel does not have rollaways because of a city ordinance but a few blocks down the road […] our friends hotel had a roll away, two queen beds AND a pull out couch. A little frustrated with the hotel description could be hotel.com's fault I don't know. However the hotel was clean! Mehr

Great location. Air conditioning system in my room did not get the job done.

I received all that I have become accustomed to at Marriott.

The only problem I had was that the tub did not drain while I took a shower but otherwise I would rate this an exceptional stay.

a couple suggestions...the door to the toilet area should swing IN. Also there need to be mirrors in the main part of the room for people geting ready for functions. Hotel staff very helpful! We forgot a couple of items which they raced to the airport for us

I booked a room that included being very specific about being placed on the top deck away from the elevator and ice machine, as I have to awake early each morning for business purposes. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk told me that there was a “bunch of early check-ins” to the extent that she did not know if I could get a room on the top deck […] of the hotel. Luckily, she did find me a room on the top deck, but it was near the ice machine. I then learned that my card would be charged $40.00 “for incidentals” up-front, which I did not expect. The room, while clean was perfectly set next to a freeway where I could hear tires screeching and people accelerating vehicles at high rates of speed throughout each night; moreover, I found the room to be small and extremely cramped for space, considering my travel assortment of business supplies. In point of fact, I had to rearrange some of the furniture to move around in the room and even hurt my back due to the tightness of the space in the room. The deadbolt on the door didn’t work, and there were holes where the refrigerator and microwave should have been. I travel with my own food and could not use my stores due to the lack of what is common to most hotel rooms. Upon check-out, I informed a new lady at the front desk that I would not be returning and why; however, she was as concerned as the lady who checked me in a couple of days earlier. I left with the impression that the staff I dealt with were unconcerned about their guests minimal comfort standards, that the online promise of room placement was contingent upon “early check-ins,” that one had better not stay in such a confined room with more than a carry-on, a quiet room next to a freeway onramp does not compute, and that a refrigerator and microwave have to be requested for the tiny rooms. No, I certainly will not stay at a hotel with motel standards and with this one in particular. I will stay with the hotel chains that I do not have the above noted con Mehr

The hotel staff was very professional and accomodating.

We love to stay at this Hotel. Its clean, the staff is very nice and requesting a late check out is always allowed and works for us. We have stayed at this hotel several times and would recommend it to everyone! Thanks for a wonderful stay everytime.

This hotel was great, free internet, free parking, close to HP Pavilion. The only problem were some very loud men, very late at night. I don't know if they were out in the hallway or next door, but I couldn't sleep until they stopped talking. If they were in their own room, that's a problem, the walls are way too thin. Clean, comfortable and good breakfast

Clean, Clean, Clean. Bathrooms, carpet, bedding. Has a coverlet instead of a bedspread which we always would remove even in 5 star, 4 diamond hotels. Everything can be washed. Nice combination of stone and ceramic finishes to create a nice environment. Flat screen TV adds to the environment Internet services are complementary.Lots of electrical outlets. […] NO airport noise. Didn't even know you were near an airport. Extremely convenient to downtown but you get free parking.Wasn't looking for a huge suite or a resort destination, just a nice place to stay when visiting family for Thanksgiving. When you are looking for a place to headquarter, especially in this economy, you will be happy with Marriot Courtyard. Incredible value. To the hotel designer. Very close to airport yet clean and quiet with wonderful bed and great breakfast. Very helpful staff and even free use of computer in lobby. I was very pleased and would go back again.

Very convient to San Jose Airport. Breakfast was available before you catch the shuttle to the airport. For being so close to airport it was very quite. Room very clean, bed comfortable, large bathroom. Wait up on time. I would stay there again.

This Courtyard was another example of the implementation of excellence for which I have become accustomed to at the Marriott. Every detail was attended to. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and the amenities were above par. I highly recommend the Marriott Courtyard in general and this one in particular!

The wireless internet service promised did not work and there was no one to fix it. The fire alarm was pulled at 10 p.m. and I could not reach anyone for an hour to confirm things were o.k.

The location is great...close to everything. This area is beautiful...clean...quiet. The pool was very cold, so we couldn't go swimming. The room was nice and for the price we were very happy,

Due to a family emergency, a number of my family members converged on the Courtyard Marriot San Jose Airport from different places in the US. We all found the Courtyard to be a clean, comfortable, and accomdating hotel. The breakfast was good and the airport shuttle was particularly convenient. Not going to go into it but their customer service is horrible.

I just want to say Thank you to all the staff at this hotel. Due to having to stay at multiple hotels on our visit to the Bay Area, this hotel was by far the best. The staff is Friendly, Timely, Efficient, Pleasant and always had Service wtih a Smile! It is just steps away from the San Jose Airport, Resturants, as well as major transportation. A pleasant surprise was that they have an airport shuttle van, and that they took us to the airport at 5:30 am! We missed breakfast, of course, but the coffee was on. Our only complaint was some noise from the hallway, doors closing, and the like, but it's a great hotel.

Great beds, great staff, clean. TV's are the older CRT types, but work fine. Hotel needs a shuttle service since it's in a business district and isn't near much food or activities, and it's too far to walk to/from the airport (even though it is the Courtyard "San Jose Airport").

Due to a 3 hour flight delay, I notified the hotel of my situation. They were more than gracious & assured me that the hotel room would be ready. The front counter staff, housekeeping & restaurant hostess were all very professional.
