Unser Aufenthalt im Microtel war entspannt und geprägt durch den sehr positiven Eindruck den das Hotel bei uns hinterließ. Die Zimmer waren sauber, der Aussenpoolbereich war sehr gut und in der Lobby gab es zwei Internet PC´s für die Gäste. Das Frühstück war okay und so können wir die Location jedem empfehlen.
Lage
Bayfront Inn liegt in Corpus Christi in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Mirador de la Flor - Selena's Seawall Statue, Art Museum of South Texas und Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gehören: Texas State Aquarium und USS Lexington Museum on the Bay.
Ausstattung
Jeden Morgen wird den Gästen ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. Die Unterkunft Bayfront Inn bietet Folgendes: Außenpool, Wäscherei, Kaffee in der Lobby und Parken ohne Service. Das Parken ohne Parkservice ist für die Gäste kostenlos.

"walking distance to attractions"

Just slept in the room because of meetings but overall the price was worth it.
Hotel is old, musty and service was not very bright.

Same great location as the Omni next door for a fraction of price.
"Hotel maintenace:"
The only problem that occured on this stay was that the AC unit continuded to put out a heavy musty smell. It would good to clean the duct work and put in some type of sented pan cleaner into the drian pan.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The only good thing about it, is it's location. Everything else... OMG... The hotel is old and smells bad... Everything is falling apart... The rooms are outdated and smell bad... The bathrooms are outdated as well, and smell even worse... They gave me the first room, number 234, and the bed was broken... Then they […] changed me to room 238 and the door didn't open... They had to come and fix the door twice during the 3 days we were there... Tried to use the hair dryer and it didn't work... Went to get the telephone do call the reception and ask for a new hair dryer, the telephone didn't work either!! Don't even bother to go have the complimentary breakfast... The breakfast room is dark, dirty and smells bad too... My child was scared of having breakfast there and asked for us to leave that place... I have traveled a lot, and this was - by far - the worse hotel I have ever been too!! Never ever again!! Mehr

Air condition did not work and it was VERY hot in the room and then my 11 month old found a toe nail and put it in her mouth! Upon looking around the floor to make sure their wasn't anything else she could put in her mouth we found another one!! I asked to change rooms and they put us in another room and that air condition worked a little better and […] this room smelled of mildew :( On a good note the location is great. Mehr

"Great Location"
Great Location. Friendly Staff. Good Price. Older hotel really could use updating. Excellent restaurant (City Diner) next door, with outstanding food and service, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
"Bayfront Inn Corpus Christi"
We chose it for the location but had the following problems: 1. Lobby smelled like a gas leak. 2. TV remote would not work unless it was placed 3 inches from the TV 3. Sink was clogged up. 4. Vomit at the end of the walkway near our room 5. Dark and dungy breakfast room. On the positive side. Great location in downtown CC.
The convenience of being near the bay and some good restaurants were the reasons we chose the Bayfront Hotel. Unfortunately, the dressers were missing drawer pulls and not all the lights worked. I didn't expect anything fancy, but I do expect the furniture to be functional.

room was clean.but had a funny smell..had to complain about heat in room.. does not work till outside temp is 57,,had to use portable heater.the staff is very helpful...

Walls are quite thin and most everything is worn out. If you're looking for location this hotel is great. If your looking for quality then keep looking. We stayed here on new years eve so we wouldn't have to epitome. It was ok for what we wanted.

The Air Conditioner did not work,..it was muggy and it Smelt old,..The sheets were yellowish,.. I guess you get what you pay for,...My daughter also stayed in the room next door,...They also,..HAD NO AIR. it was Hot in our room,...I had to get up and take a Second Shower, at 3 am.....
"bad hotel"
hotel door was hard to open from inside,door did not have a bottom door sweeper, you could see light under it,they did not have heat,the hotel waited until the coldest night to turn on heater.
This the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Mold on the bathrrom floors, mold on the shower curtain. The smell out of the air vent was the worst ever! We had to change rooms at first because the windows would not lock! We had a very hard time using the key card. It had to be insert with fast and hard force in order to get it to go in.

The breakfast was white bread next to a toaster with some cold cereal. The wi-fi didn't work. The bathroom had been remodeled in my room, but there were holes in the walls, and no plugs visible to charge my cell phone. The location is good, and it's the cheapest downtown Corpus Christi hotel. There is a reason it's the cheapest hotel there.

Rooms smell bad and feel humidity alot of it also,,, alot of bugs crawling around, beds are too small and matresses are in very bad conditions. overall it has a good location but would not go back to it next visit.

"IT COULD HAVE BEEN ALOT WORSE"
The location was ideal. Super easy to locate & nearby all the right places HOWEVER......first of all the front desk clerk was superb. HE was absolutely the ONLY employee we encountered. At first glance the room looked decent BUT we discovered evidence that maybe it hadn't been cleaned properly after that last guest. The restroom didn't look fresh, there […] were stains on the carpet & on the exposed boxspring of the bed. The dresser drawers had no handles (not that we were going to store anything in the drawers but for cosmetic reasons we missed them). The lamps didn't all work so there were areas of the room that were dark. Was the bed comfy....yes, did we feel safe.....yes. So it really COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE. I WOULD recommend this hotel because you just can't beat the price for a room across the street from the ocean. We got what you payed for. Mehr
"You get what you pay for..."
My husband and I just wanted to get away for the weekend and needed somewhere to lay our heads. Very cheap for location, right on the water. Only problems we had were with the A/C unit, rooms werent very cool at all. All in all, a good choice for what we needed. It wasnt the Hilton but wasn't the Rat Motel either....
"Grandma's House"
I felt like I was visiting my grandma, most of the rooms were vacant and the decor was very outdated. I asked to be moved to another room, the one I was switched too did not have the beds made but the sheets and pillows thrown on the chair as if I was to do it myself! In addition the headboard was not put onto the bed but resting against the wall like […] it was a project a maintnence worker forgot about. All in all I made the best of it since it was only for one night, however If it wasnt for the low rate I wouldnt stay at this particular Inn again. Mehr
"Reasonably priced and close to the water"
Pluses: Located right near the Gulf and the beach. Close to lots of attractions, including the USS Lexington. Ample parking. Several restaurants nearby. For the price and location, it's a decent place to stay. Cons: Rooms could use some upgrading. The shower fixtures and bathroom fixtures looked well-used and aged. The promised free internet access […] was unreliable and had low signal strength. The air conditioning vent on the wall is positioned such that it blows cold air directly on the beds. Mehr

"BUGS...BUGS...BUGS!!"
THIS PLACE WAS A DUMP!! ITS VERY NICELY LOCATED. THERE WAS ANTS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND MY CHILD HAD HUGE WELTS ON HER BACK AND EXTREMITIES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. PARKING WAS HORRIBLE.

The hotel staff was friendly. Both of our beds had bed bugs, we checked out early because of the discomfort.

I stayed at Bayfront Inn for a spontaneous trip to Corpus Christi and it was enjoyable...nothing spectacular but I did appreciate the rate especially since it was Labor Day weekend. I loved the location since I could cross the street to take a morning walk along the shore. It was great for taking pictures.

When I checked in and check out, I had to wait in line eventhough there was one or two clerks available to assist. The room appeared clean but if you looked behind furniture, you would see wrappers and other trash. The only good thing I can say is the location. "Worst hotel I have ever stayed at"
I generally do not bother leaving reviews for hotels that I stay at while vacationing, but this time I felt compelled to go out of my way to leave a review to warn other travelers about this place. The place smelled bad for starters, and the interior looked dirty and unkept. The window was boarded up with an old pizza delivery sign, just to give you […] guys an image of what I am talking about. I requested that housekeeping stop by to do a courtesy vacuuming, but they never came. The worse part of it all was that there was a heat index of 105 degrees outside, and the air conditioner was not properly cooling. After confronting the hotel manager, he not only was rude, but only offered a boxed fan. Oh and the continental breakfast was cheap milk and cereal. I actually persuaded 2 separate travelers to go look at another hotel while I was awaiting in the hotel lobby for the manager to arrive. So please, stay away!! "Smelly very hot room"
The room was very hot more x3 move back to the previous room it was cool . Found roaches in the room and bath room very smelly . Ice marker was broken had to go to 2nd floor the a / c system need be change. Very old nd breakfast nasty two loads of bread gernic cereals coffee did tasted as coffee tasted like wet socks .carpet was very old bed was hard […] was not able. To sleep right and to small of beds nd Internet not able. It was not worth the price of th room but the location was great only! We will not stay there next time !!!! Mehr

"Smells bad."
The room smelled aweful. The mildew/mold smell was so strong it made my throat hurt. The water in the "pool" was green. Definately not worth the money pd to stay there on a holiday weekend. Would not stay again.

The price for the night was FAR too high for what you get. The view was the only thing good...the clock had been smashed, the bathroom was not very clean (obvious dirt and hair, rust) the floor left our feet gray and the AC didn't work too well, the room never really cooled off. For the price we paid, we could have stayed in a better room on the beach. […] If they would renovate their rooms and do repairs it would be a great hotel. Mehr

"Worst Hotel in Corpus Christi"
The Bayfront Inn has been the worst hotel I have ever walked into. I mean just that I walked in and immediately walked out to cancel! The grout from the bathroom tile was yellow, the room stunk of old socks, TV was outdated, it was just nasty! Luckily we found a nice, very pleasant hotel across the street the Omni Hotel where we stayed very comfortable. […] I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY NIGHT STAY AT THE BAYFRONT INN! Mehr
