Tucson Days Inn Convention Center - Tucson

It was just so-so. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either - except the bed wasn't' terribly comfortable.

Why did I not listen to the other bad reviews!!!!!!!! All true. No hot water, door locked us in the room for about ten minutes. Breakfast who a joke. This is not a joke.

The motel was wonderful- clean, good breakfast and attentive staff. The only drawback is parking. The surrounding community seems to think it's their parking area as well. Many people attend family events at the adjacent Gem Center. There needs to be more coordination between the motel and Gem Center in this regard. Good room rate and conveient location.

Old but clean. Bed was comfortable. Bath sink had no counter or shelf for toiletries. Reguest room in rear to minimize noise from near-by freeway. Very convenient to downtown area...we walked to the Music Hall.

not a five star but very good value for the$$

forst of all the days in does not look at all the internet pictures show. the continental breakfast is by far a continental breafast. you have toast cereal and coffee that's it. at check in the clerk was not at the desk she was sitting in the dinning area watching TV. the doors were locked to get in you had to go to a walk up window on the outside. […] I would not recomend this hotel to anyone Mehr

I read the reviews and thought it couldn't be that bad. The receptions lobby smelled musty. We entered our room and the carpet was wet, because they just shampooed it. The bathroom was old looking. The hotel was so close to the highway it was hard to sleep. It was very convenient to downtown bars/clubs. The best thing about the hotel was the bed was […] very comfortable. Mehr

No great, but convenient for the gem show. Nice employees. Clean room. Balcony was a bonus. Kind of noisy by the highway.

the whole place is a bit tired, but excellent value. close to city centre. breakfast adequate. if you need a day or two stopover this is a good choice

The room smelled moldy and overall felt not-clean. The breakfast was good and the location is great (downtown is a block away) but the smell was just too much.

I thought that it included a continental breakfast. The only things available was 2 cereals and oatmeal. That was it. Just overall a last option if I ever have to back to that area.

Although the staff was nice and the hotel was clean and had the basics, the whole room lost electric after plugging in a blow dryer, and when we got back late on a Friday night, one end of the hotel had many cars and trucks and women of the night walking around. The bathroom bath tub was ditry, no hot water,poor water flow in the shower. This entire building needs to be remodeled.Also, the lights beside both beds were not working.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed it. I ignored the reviews because it was so cheap and close to where I needed to be...but its extremely ghetto. Its so old and run down and needs to be leveled and rebuilt. My room was like a little sweat box. The air was off when I arrived at it must have been in the 110's outside. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at...first off the door handle was dirty and sticky, walking in we noticed all the base boards were broken up at the bottom. The bathroom towels were not clean or even put on the rack nice and neat and the water pressure was more of a dribble. There is a vent in the bathroom that is hanging off of the […] ceiling. In the bedroom area the floor lamp did not work, the alarm clock was broken, only half of the buttons on the tv remote worked. We got 2 beds because we were planning on taking our daughter (thank god we didn't) but 1 of the beds did not even have a fitted sheet on it instead it had 2 flat sheets, the other bed had carvings on the head board. The beds were like sleeping on the cement completely horrible. The curtins had about 2 inches of dust on the top. There was no do not disturb sign for the door and the extra lock was a chain that was missing. There were homeless people 20 feet from our door. That on top of everything else made us feel so uncomfortable. I would never ever recommend this place or stay here again. Mehr

saw many of windows were cracked. I don't know they were just old or someone was trying to break in.

This hotel was HORRIBLE. We had an upstairs room and everytime we walked we felt the floor give way and it creaked soooo bad we kept waking up the kids. Our keys had to be re programmed daily and we stayed 3 days so that was a pain. Something happened every night there that had the police in and out a few times a night. We had to ask for cleaning service […] and towels. There was supposed to be a hot and cold breakfast in the mornings... hot was considered frozen waffles that is when they had them (1 out of 3 days). When I took a water bottle (20oz) down to bring up enuf milk for everyone the front desk yelled at me saying it was too much milk to be taken. ( I had 4 ppl staying) Overall it was HORRIBLE and I will NEVER take my family there again. I think I'd rather pay full price and go somewhere else. Mehr

While the price was right, the hotel was NOT the best choice. The condition of the hotel is outdated and in need of repairs. The toilet ran all day and night. While the housekeepers made sure there was clean towels and the bed was made everyday, the comforter on the bed was full of old cigarrette burns, The place was extremely noisy not just from the […] surrounding area and other guests, but maintenance people were very noisy as well. On this particular stay they had an event that had many people on the property that were not guests. They had a large amount of traffic after am people talking loudly blowing horns just general annoyances that one would expect at closing time next to a college bar. We've stayed before and came back because of the location. We're college kids on spring break so we knew we wouldn't be in the room much. We just needed a clean place to sleep when we actually did decide to sleep, lol! It's old, dingy, noisy because it's next to the freeway, and smells a bit of cigarettes, but the linens were clean, as was the bathroom, […] and the price was right. Mehr

This place is pretty run down. There was garbage littered outside. Not very clean. This place needs to be remodeled.

This is a decent bottm tier motel which is centrally located. The continental breakfast is decent for something at this price point. The neighborhood, clientelle and general condition of this establishment leave a bit to be desired.

MY husband and myself are both disabled. We reqused a bottom floor, and was told no problem,but when we were checking in was told that we would have to take a second floor room. since we had already paid for the room we decided to stay.The room was awful- black stains in tolilet -carpet was filthy -stains on all walls -very nosie due to construction […] on the complex,which is in desperate need. Worse of all our door would not close properly so we had very little rest. Would never stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was okay, good for its price. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that I asked for a smoke-free room and when I opened the door to my room...it smelled like smoke. Other than that, it was okay. Reasonably priced.

Over priced and dirty.. I was expecting something a little better than what i got for the price. floor was dirty, and the shower was pretty bad. Also the room was very very very small!

They say you get what you pay for, but I disagree. I have stayed in plenty of inexpensive hotels and have never once been disappointed. I thought to myself "you can't go wrong w/a Days Inn Hotel right? I mean it's Days Inn, they're a staple hotel chain..." Wrong. I couldn't even stay in the hotel, I ended up not sleeping and just finishing the drive […] to my destination. From the moment I walked into the hotel room it smelled of cigarettes and a mildewy/urine smell. The floors creaked when you walked on them, and you could hear other people walking in other rooms. The floors were gross I didn't want to take my shoes off. The bathroom had a dead bug in the shower; it looked old and was filthy. When I went to go to sleep, I put my head on the pillow and decided I didn't want to use it due to the fact that the pillow itself smelled of cigarettes and mildew. I'm not complaining because I am one of those people who hates smokers and hates smoking rooms, I'm an ex-smoker and even if I still smoked I would have found this gross. Mehr

We were in Tucson for a BMX National race all weekend. We needed a bed for the night and didn't need or want to pay for all the frills of the higher price hotels since we wouldn't be able to use them. A good nights sleep and a pool to cool off in was all we needed and got that at this hotel. I was also able to walk to the Convention Center and that […] saved on parking. Mehr

Во время Gem Show лучше не останавливаться в этом отеле - это выставочная площадка, очень много народу. Завтрака нет, чайника в номерах нет. Убирают плохо. Часть номеров очень маленькие и хуже оборудованы, а цена такая же как и у больших. В общем, за неимением лучшего можно и здесь остановиться.
