Comfort Inn Boston - Boston

We had difficulty locating the hotel off I-93. Couldn't find our exit #. We called the hotel & said we were @ Hancock & 3-A & the front desk couldn't help us with further directions. After wandering around for 30 more minutes we found Morrisey Rd. Later we found out 3-A was Morrisey Rd so we only had to continue north several miles, very frustrating. […] Upon arrival the manager was very helpful. Due to our late arrival he gave us a late check out. Unfortunately, after breakfast we put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign so we were going back to bed but housekeeping continually knocked on our door. Even the housekeeping manager knocked & said she needed to verify our late check out. Tiresome!! Decided to pack up & instead of sleep but at least we didn't need to rush to get out by noon. Mehr

The entire place smelled like Jamaica. We waited 45 min upon checking IN! Please retrain your staff. Please fire your maids. Best of luck. Tough location to staff

This Comfort Inn is clean and has a comfortable bed. It offers a free airport shuttle every hour, and most importantly a free shuttle ride to and from a major public transportation point every 1/2 hour. I could sight see Boston all day and get picked up without worries. No need for a car rental. The drivers and desk staff were courteous and helpful. […] Another bonus: Free Breakfast. Shuttle took us way out of the way, and through dubious streets. Once there, desk clerk disinterested and gave us a room which clearly had been smoked in recently. 2nd clerk was much more helpful, and got us suitable room on another floor. The bath room door ws damaged and did not close properly. The matter was reported to front desk Car accesss to the hotel front is not well marked/signed

this hotel had transportation from airport but was not in the best of locations trin noise kept us awake hotel was clean brakfast was full and plentiful

Desk staff not welcoming (the young man didn't even look up when he finally greeted me.). Nobody on hand to help with bags (I'm 85 and don't carry heavy stuff easily). Door key to room didn't work -- had to get help. When I made reservation I had asked if there was room service and was told YES. This turned out to be pizza delivery from some other place. Nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle runs all day long to a local subway station with access to the entire city! The breakfast was great. I will stay here again.

Standard Hotel, a bit smelly, free wifi did not work. Breakfast was so so, moved up to a better but pricier hotel the next day.

My wife and I booked this hotel because it provided a free shuttle service from the airport 24x7 which was very convenient as was the free shuttle service to the T (subway). The hotel's location is not a vacation destination by any means. The breakfast was decent, overall. The hotel served its purpose. The price was high (as were all other hotels […] during the Boston Marathon weekend...). In summary, don't flock to the hotel to serve as ground zero for your vacation stay at Boston, but don't avoid it if you need a convenient place to stay with decent freebies (shuttle, breakfast, wireless, etc.) Mehr

when a person books a hotel and they book a room with a specific type of bed they should get what they paid for thats all i have to say

Hotel close to airport internationnal Logan Boston Shuttle free and disponibility for 24 hours Our car stay there (parking for 8 days) during vacancy at Mexico and no problem (secutiry was good)

As basic as basic gets. Breakfast over at 10:00 a.m. would have been better if it was until 11:00 a.m. Shuttle service was great. Very basic, but quiet and peaceful.

I wish I could remember the name of the woman who was so incredibly kind to us. She worked the evening shift to 11pm. Having to take a very big exam, she turned off the television in the breakfast room, turned on the lights and let me study. It was a lovely gesture. In addition, she recommended places for us to eat and made sure we used our complimentary […] coupons at the Freeport Tavern and at Phillips Chocolate Shop. Both were very good recommendations. The free shuttle to the T was the only redeeming quality for this hotel. The hotel is old and truly needs to be renovated. Small lobby and some of the staff members behind the counter were very rude. Found stains and burns on my comforter and carpet in room. The complimentary breakfast was nice, but the selection was so so. Internet in the room did […] not work at all. Big noise aisle due to no good soundproof door. Lots of dust on the floor in the room.

We were visiting Boston and this hotel provides great rates for the area. The rooms are decent and the breakfast was great (eggs, waffles, variety of pastries, etc.). The shuttle from the airport was convenient, but it takes at least 20 minutes to get to the hotel. While its not in the best neighborhood, it does not feel unsafe either and has a few […] stores across the street from it. The shuttles to the T stop are convenient but only pass by every 45 minutes or so, but since the shuttles are shared with a neighboring hotel, they are sometimes full. We once had to wait more than an hour and a half for one that was empty enough to take us to the station (which is not close enough to walk). The same can be said for the return shuttle from the T. A lot of people wait for it and you may have to wait for a couple of shuttles before you can board. Overall, it was decent and a decent hotel for the price. Mehr

After check in I received a paper stating that there were many car burglaries in the area and to be sure to remove everything from my vehicle and to also wash the suction cup marks off the windshield left from the GPS so that would be crooks would not see them. We were already parked in the rear of the building in a very dark lot and decided to not […] go back to the car to wash the windshield. Also, very heavy traffic to deal with on the freeway that takes you into center city. A 5 mile trip took 45 minutes. I could not wait to leave this hotel. Mehr

This hotel was nice looking and very well maintained. Our room was exactly what you would expect to walk into after traveling--ahhhh! Very clean, fresh smelling, very comfortable king size bed and relaxing arrangement of furniture. Good service. Friendly hosts. Great price. The only negative about this hotel is the frequent noise of the nearby train […] until about 10pm, but it was more tolerable with the ac and the tv on. I would definitely stay here again. Mehr

was ok for the money. Breakfast was more than a continental and included in the price.

My husband and I were only spending a day in Boston and flew in the night before. We were in Dorchester specifically, not downtown and selected teh hotel mainly on location. The hotel was ok - not spectacular and not horrible. The room was very spacious and confortable. I did notice what appeared to be a smear of chocolate on the bedspread - it was […] not a stain as I was able to remove it. That was the only cleanliness issue. The elevators were older and sounded as if they would break at any time - very jarring stopping and stopping movements and tehy were loud but ultimately they worked. We went to Boston for graduation, so we booked this hotel a year in advance. We chose it for it's good location and great price on Hotels.com. We didn't know the train ran close to the hotel, so we had to sleep with the window closed and AC on to block out the noise. We also didn't feel totally safe in the neighborhood. Breakfast did include a nice […] variety of items, and was restocked well, but it was served in a small dining room off the main lobby and was quite crowded. Also, we didn't see anyone cleaning the dining area, so it quickly became dirty on and under the tables. We decided next time we'll pay more money and stay in a more comfortable hotel. Mehr

one night for business great to be 15 minutes from downtown Boston but not pay boston price -for this type of hotel was very clean and no compliants about the room-clean. great tv selection and free breakfast. not too much as far as near by for food and entertainment...i guess go to downtown boston.

i went to boston for a week long vacation and the comfort inn was a great choice. very good breakfast every morning saved money on food costs, and the shuttle to the subway system was very convenient. sometimes the shuttle doesn't run on schedule, but the drivers are all very nice and helpful. if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and check out […] the city, then the comfort inn is an excellent choice. Great room for the money and very nice staff!

The location / price / accomodations met my expectations for a hotel in this price range. Needed a hotel in that region of the city, was clean / quiet - nothing fancy. The elevator was a bit concerning (lots of noise at open/close) - used the stairs as a result. Would recommende for anyone needing basic accomodations in a reasonable price range.

the room was clean and spacious.I also liked the fact that there was a 24 hour bowling alley and 2 resturants. When i go back to boston i will stay there again

This hotel was easy to get to. It provided a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was fresh and more than ample with a wide variety of items. Our room had the in and out bound trolley lines not to far from the hotel. We were a little worried when the train passed that the noise would continue throughout the night but apparently it doesn't […] since none of us were bothered by it. dont use mass transit to get into city REALLY expensive from hotel but hotel was fine clean and nice

it was quite pleasant other than checking in.I called the hotel in the morning to confirm and it was all good or so i thought. Well when i got their for my 2 double adjoining rooms on the first floor it was like an hour wait. The girl in the morning put my rooms aside but never sent anyone to clean them. So a long story short i got a sinle adjoinin […] to a double on the fitht floor (which was quite a pain). But other than that the whole ordeal was quite more than i expected for what i paid. A good value for the dollar but an expensive cab ride into Boston. One can get used to the passing train but the hotel was advertised as non smoking and clearly there were guests smoking on our floor. The tabacco smoke smell was very detectable in the hallway and noticable in our room.
