We had a weekend break away to Poznan, and this hotel was just about spot on. It was conveniently located to the city centre, the train station as well as the local trams. The room was really clean and tidy, and for the price we thought it was about right too. You couldn't ask for better and more attentive staff, they were very friendly and helpful. […] It was a pleasure to stay here. The only thing we might suggest is for the hotel to invest in some half decent pillows. Make sure you request a room facing north away from the trams running along Krolowej Jadwigi - they get a bit loud late at night. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. Disposable paper cups were put on the desk in the room. This is no problem from the ecological point view, they said. But, you need to wait before dring coffee or tea, because the cup was too hot to hold to drink. I would suggest the hotel to allow the customer to use even cheaper magcup, that would be much easier to dring hot coffee and tea.

This is an economy hotel and you can get decent room rates (not always!) but be careful - everything else here is expensive (but not necessarily good quality). The location is next to a huge mall (Stary Browar - Old Brewery) which is an exquisite place for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. From there you can walk to the Old Town (~ 1 km) via […] nice shopping boulevard. The Old Town is a must see - especially at noon when they have trumpet played from the tower and the tower clock displays two figurines of rams banging their heads (symbol of the city). Again, hotel is decent and if you stay there make sure you get breakfast already included in the price. Otherwise is rather expensive and I am not sure worth the price 75PLZ (~ 23 USD). Good place for families. Parking also 75 PLZ / night. Taxis available rather all the time. Mehr

Decor overall very dark and tired. Check in lady very rude, unhelpful and slow. Room was just about adequately maintained. However the air conditioning wasn't working on a swelteringly hot night. We had to move room at 2.30am to get any sleep at all. Other guests said they had had to do that other nights too so it was a known issue but they still inflicted […] that torturous heat on guests, who were paying top dollar as it was during the Euros. Initial reply from desk was 'open the window' - the noise was impossible as Poland had just lost that night and the temperature was barely any lower outside. It took much pleading and insistence to get a few hours in another room. Overall a highly soulless, badly maintained, badly run hotel, clearly taking advantage of foreign guests desperate for somewhere to stay at an exceptionally busy time. Wifi in rooms was dreadful too, only worked if you stood at the door. DEFINITELY neither 4* standards or 4* service. Mehr

A guide book for Poznan described the hotel as being in the "Upmarket" bracket and this was certainly my overall view as well and I was impressed. The only downside was that access from public transport was rather tiresome , indeed it was hard to find the entrance to the hotel after walking from the railway station, there being no indication of just […] how to get into the building! If I had arrived by car then it would have been more straightforward. However having mastered two alternative routes from the tram stops, which were both about 5 minutes walk away, it became quite an easy task although access to the site from the main road would have been even better. The walk was not helped by the the extremely hot weather which prevailed at the time- around 28 degrees C but which was no fault of the hotel I might add. Mehr

The hotel is great with clean spaces, good breakfast, quite rooms and great location;) just perfect BUT reception is slow and I did not see 1 smile during 5 days at this hotel! Beautiful city with a hotel which is well located near to the shopping mall (Stary browar) and old town square. Check in/out was a breeze, the receptionist was kind enough to allow me to check in before the stipulated time. Free internet usage at the lobby was useful for quick emails and internet browsing. I stayed on the 9th floor but unfortunately […] facing the street behind the hotel. Even at such height I could hear the trams from 5-ish in the morning, so if you intend to wake up late either ask for a room facing the front or make sure your window is shut and blinds are drawn (helped a bit but not 100% effective). Funny practice to keep minibar locked up - first hotel to do so in my experience! I understand the need to cut down pilferage but it does inconvenience guests who want to store some perishables in the fridge! Mehr

I stayed here for 2 nights while I was at a wedding. The staff are extremely helpful and were more than willing to phone taxis, look after luggage etc. Rooms are a nice size and very comfortable. Handy to centre of Poznan and there is a shopping centre just across the road. I would stay here again.

Have stayed in Novatel before, and actually stayed directly next to this Novatel on a prior trip so thought, why not. If you just want a clean room, and a place to lay your head, no worries. But the staff were, in my estimation, something between indifferent and surly. I can get treated poorly for free. I won't be back.

This hotel is in an excellent location close to city center, train station, and next door to a HUGE shopping mall with lots of stores, restaurants, even a grocery store for quick food staples. The hotel even has a casino, although a bit smoky but not very crowded while on my three day visit. Avoid paying for the hotel brunch, at 65 Zloty ($20 US), although […] the food and presentation were excellent, felt a bit pricey considering all of the options in the vacinity. Even found a nice little cafe right up the street and had breakfast for only $6. The room on the seventh floor was very clean and well maintained by staff. Impressed with the shoe shine machines throughout the hotel and free internet service using Mac in the main lobby. Although free access is restricted to only 20 minutes in the lobby. Tip: to the right and behind the check-in desk is a small room with two pc's that provide unlimited free access to the internet for longer emailing needs etc. Hotels.com rocks! when it comes to selecting the right hotel at the right price in the ideal location based on needs. Lækkert værelse med fin udsigt fra 26. etage. Gratis Wifi men forbindelsen på vores værelse var så dårlig at computeren hoppede af og på nettet konstant. Hotellet ligger centralt placeret.

Общее впечатление - положительное. Номер просторный, отличный вид на Старый Город. Единственный минус - старая сантехника в ванной. Завтраком остались довольны все: довольно богатый ассортимент, очень вкусная, свежая выпечка. Оптимальное соотношение цены и качества.

Ok hotell med store fine rom. Rene bad. Bodde her bare 1 natt og så videre til nabohotellet IBB Andersia, dette er et mye nyere og flottere hotell. Hotellene ligger like ved siden av et stort kjøpesenter! :)

A/C not working, and no intrest what-so-ever from the staff to get it fixed! Waited for 10 hrs before i reminded them - and then got reply that +21,8 degrees is not to warm, and that it is "normal" that the temperature can not be set lower. Et bra alternativ. God frokost. Kort vei til shopping. Det er et kvarters gange inn til torget i gamlebyen, men det er gågate hele veien med mange butikker. Det er ekstremt billig taxi. Fra flyplassen til hotellet koster ca 25 Sloty hver vei, eller ca NOK 50,-.
