Hotel very clean .everyone very friendly and close to the casino.
Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were not so comfortable (nothing rates like mine at home). The rooms were hot and air conditioning did not work. By morning our room was 83, there was not water pressure in the shower either. The breakfast bar was one of the nicer ones I have seen in quite a while.

The Hampton Inn is my preferred hotel whenever I travel and this time was no exception. The room was clean, the location was just right and the breakfast buffet was okay. The service was a little slow but everything else made up for it. I almost forgot to mention that the price was right. A good value for an excellent Hotel chain.

In Dover for two days. Hampton Inn was convenient for our trip. The room was very comfortable with nice linens on the bed. Breakfast was great-much more than expected with eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, fresh fruit salad AND really good coffee. There was no need to stop at Dunkin Donuts! "Great Hotel"
Got in around 11 at night and check-in took less than 2 minutes, room was comfortable. If it had been warmer outside we could have walked to dining and the casino, less than a mile away. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We would stay here again if in the area.

"Hampton Inn right on shopping and casino district"
The hotel was right in the middle of everything. Free parking, easy drive to dinner and Dover Downs. Very convenient and well off the highway so it is quiet. The bed was firm, so not the most comfortable, but nice flat screen tv and loads of channels. Very clean and up to date. Fast wireless internet which was free. Would stay again.

Amazing hotel and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable. No issues with room or the hotel. Breakfast was good as well. Hot foods - omelet, waffles, sausage, french toast. As well as cold cereal, muffins, bagels, juice and coffee. Would recommend 100%

Enjoyed the stay at the Hampton in Dover, Del. All the staff were very nice, pleasant, and helpful especially the breakfast staff (CeCe). The only problem is that I had booked a room not knowing that the rooms at this hotel had rooms at discount rate for the convention, but the convention was at another hotel. When I made reservation and paid at the […] time of reservation, I tried to get the convention rate prices at my arrival, because I wasn't aware until after reservation was paid before arrival and was told that I couldn't get discount when I arrived because it was made per Hampton Inn hotels. I had toll free phone number not aware that it was not the hotel direct. That was the only thing I wish could have been changed but I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would stay again. Mehr

I have stayed at many other Hampton inn that were less expensive/night. Based on the average rate at this hotel you should expect more than this hotel has to offer. Not bad but would not go out of my way to book In the future.

Enjoyed my stay. Everything was so convenient; didn't need to drive to get to stores or food. Stayed for daughters orientation at Delaware State University. Staff was very professional and continental breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend and will stay again.

My friend and I enjoyed the confort and hospitality of the hotel and its staff. The manager Russ rectified an unexpected problem with one of the hotel rooms (Room 218) and gave us another room to stay in (Room 100). I would strongly recommend out of towners to stay at this hotel

Clean, convenient and a good breakfast buffet. This was our (second) annual layover here and we will come again. Great for the price. Family with three young children.

Te service , the room and all accomodations were great also outside scenery or other stores were located at hand. thank you for your service.
The hotel was nice but was disappointed in the breakfast. We always try and stay at Hampton Inns but this one let us down. They had not restocked the breakfast and what was available was hard and cold. It was just a disappointment but would stay there again.

Missed the Hampton sign, driving on the south road. It was blocked by either the Sams Club or Walmarts Sign. Found irt coming back on the North side. The sign was in between Sheraton & Sams Club

Enjoyed the stay- very close to shopping, casino, and local areas of interest. The free breakfast buffet was nice and the snack bags provided at the front desk is a great idea!
room was nice stayed here before. the only complaint was we were over the lobby entrance and some people were having a disagreement and were very loud. hotel staff should have gone out or called the police. very noisey. didnt sleep well because of this. no bags to go out for guest because we didnt have time for breakfast.

I would love to stay there again on our trips up North to see family. We had a lovely stay. The room was clean, the staff courteous, and there was an awesome outdoor pool. There is a complimentary continental breakfast and a fitness center with 3 machines and free weights. here was no charge for our dog to stay in the room with us--but if they run out of first floor rooms and you bring a pet, you have to sign a contract […] that is rather restrictive (it requires you to stay with your pet at ALL times). Aside from the contract and lack of first floor rooms (I was also 7 months pregnant when we stayed there), it was a very nice hotel. Mehr

"Hampton Inn in Dover, DE--Awesome!!"
Hotel is clean. Staff is friendly. Location is great--close to food, Walmart right next door, beaches are close, breakfast was really good. We have stayed in many, many hotels always booking off the internet (hotel.com, expedia). I'm always nervous about the hotel I'm about to book....this hotel is a sure thing. I would definitley stay here again!

After a long and harrowing journey (delayed flights, lost rental car reservations, rude staff just about everywhere) - I checked in to the Dover Hampton inn. The desk clerk greeted me by name when I walked in, looked up my reservation, handed me my room key. said "you are prepaid and all set, enjoy your stay." It was the best service and response I […] had experienced in days, and I was wonderfully relieved to have courteous personnel and a scrupulously clean room. There was a crew renovating during the day, laying new carpet in some areas, but it was kept clean, no adhesive fumes or dust, and only between noon and 5pm or so - so no real interruptions there. My room was spotless and comfortable. The local area has about 50 restaurants to choose from, but the road out front (13? I think) has lots of traffic, and a big median, and you can't really walk anywhere. The breakfast is nice but I never am hungry which is what makes the to-go bags they pack perfect, I got an apple, muffin, cereal bar and bottled water to take with me. Mehr
