Courtyard by Marriott New York City Manhattan Fifth Avenue - New York

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist wirklich super. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein (wir waren zu viert), war aber kein Problem, da wir nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer waren.

Ich habe mit meiner Familie insgesamt 4 Nächte im Hotel verbracht und wurde von der tollen Lage und dem Komfort der Zimmer überzeugt. Der Preis ist ebenfalls spitze, sodass ich das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen kann. Einzig die lauten Klimaanlagen waren anfangs störend, damit muss man jedoch in ganz New York wohl rechnen.

just perfect, clean rooms and location is great. everything is in walking distance. would defintely go again there.

Absolutely stunning woman at front desk with gorgeous eyes. Must see.

The room was tiny. The bed sagged in the middle so my wife and I kept rolling into each other. Other guest ket slamming and knocking on doors and shouting to eachother from 3 AM to 6 AM and the walls were so thin I was able to talk back to them. This was a stay from hell.

The hotel near resturants and shopping centers

Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the hotel staff was courteous and it was a great location. Would definitely stay there again!

I have no complaints except for the rude staff. The staff was beyond rude!

This hotel has great location at 40th and 5th (by Library). Good help from front desk, clean, slow elevator, and no food service in hotel. Its NY.

Courtyard by Marriott New York City Manhattan Fifth Avenue has the perfect location - It's close to everything! The room was not of the biggest, but I suppose that is common for many hotelrooms on Manhattan. There were two elevators, but one of them was broken down. This is a very nice hotel near the times square and near to the subway. Super clean, nice bathroom, friendly service people, big flat-TV, ... The Pictures are up to date. Absolutely recommended for everyone!

Only complaint was one of two elevators were down due to maintence for all 10 days that I stayed here. It took a very long time to catch elevators up and down. On at least four occasions I waited for over 10 minutes to catch an elevator down to the lobby.

This hotel very poor. It is very small and as such 'intimate' is is an alternative word for very cramped, the cozy lobby is the size of a double garage and 7 rooms a floor where it should be 4 give it a very claustrophobic feel, the rooms are small by American standards. The room I was initially given was very dirty with stained walls and ceiling, […] worn out wallpaper and carpets and an air conditioner unit that rattled and couldn't be altered or switched off. I immediately complained and was given a similar room again with filthy walls and carpets which if you walked barefoot quickly became black, two of the lights were broken and the bed quilts didn't even have covers on them. I again complained and I was told all the rooms are all the same, I asked for the manager but he/she was unavailable, at this point the staff suddenly became unhelpful! I tried to book another hotel that night without success but did manage to get out to an far superior and excellent hotel on Times square the next day, paying much much less directly than I paid for this one. This hotel is worn out, tired in desperate need of refurbishment and is inferior to many of the other hotels in the area, I went into several in search of a better one, I strongly recommend you choose another hotel, you will be disappointed. I feel that the description and photographs of this hotel are a misrepresentation of what I and my family discovered to our cost. Mehr

The hotel is very well located within walking distance to all tourist locations like Times Square, NY Library, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Macy´s, Empire State, Grand Central Station and others. Very clean and comfortable and free internet as well as use of computers and printer and FREE COFFEE! We enjoyed our stay and certainly recommend it.

We were a group of 12 and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Fifth Avenue and the experience was great. Excellent staff, service, clean rooms, space, free internet, printer, coffee.... Great location... close to Times Square, Tours, Rockeffeller Center, etc.... They also coordinated our transportation for an affordable price. DEFINATELY WILL COME […] BACK!!!!!!!! Mehr

The first room was acceptable accept one bed linens were so wet we could not sleep on it. Comforter and top sheets were wet. They changed our room to two doors down. Inconvenient as we already had every thing unpacked . Desk employee's very friendly when registering in.

Stayed here on a first trip to Manhattan. We were mainly here as tourists and found this location to be good - near the subway, but taxis were available when we wanted them. The room was not noisy. The staff was helpful and we were able to store our luggage after checking out the last day.

Conveniently located, safe neighbourhood, easy access to sights, breakfast, excellent concierge service, easy Internet and computer access. Would recommend and stay again! Whole family happy with hotel!

The Courtyard by Marriot NYC Manhattan 5th Ave was very convenienty located and was a short walk to Times Square, Grand Central Station and even Rockefeller Plaza. I got a good rate on Hotels.com and would recommend this hotel to others. The room was small but we didn't go to NYC to stay in the room! It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair […] to sit in instead of always having to sit on the bed. The AC was a bit loud but that seems to be true no matter where we stay. We stayed on the 26th floor so we were not exposed to noise from the street below. There are computers and a printer for use. The computers could use an upgrade. We only used them to check email and print boarding passes so that was not a major problem for us. Nice coffee bar and the desk and concierge people were very nice and helpful. Overall not a fancy place but very nice ,clean, conveniently located and best of all NO BEDBUGS! Mehr

Excellent and the most comfortable beds!!!!

This hotel was very nice. The front desk was helpful but not overly friendly. I arrived a few hours before check in, and they allowed my husband and I to check in early. I had reserved a queen sized bed at booking, but they gave us a room with 2 double beds instead, but didn't tell us that was the room they were putting us in, apparently because we […] had checked in early. The hotel is at a great location at the heart of touristy New York. The front desk service can be kind of spotty depending on the receptionist but all of them have been great except one. The rooms are nice and clean with just enough space for luggage and movement around the beds. However, make sure to request a room that is not 2507. Had that room […] the first night and my travel companions could not sleep due to the noise from the ice-machine/cooler in the hallway. The hotel staff were very accommodating to our complaints and moved us for the next night. Make sure to make the request early (aka. in advance of arrival) as the hotel often sells out of rooms. great location and nice hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.It was great.The location was excellent,very close to Times Square,St Patricks Cathedral,Penn Station and all the great shopping.The staff were extremely nice and helpful and the beds were so comfortable.I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again.

The staff was helpful and very quick to help with everything. The AC wasn't shutting off in our room when we got there, (actually my fault) so we called the front desk and sent someone up within 30 seconds.

Internet is free if you have your own computer and they always have a couple computers and printer for you to use if necessary. All Courtyards are pretty consistent and you can depend on them being similar in comfort & cleanliness. This location is terrific and even though my room was on a low floor it was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. […] Will stay there again. Oh, for women: bring your own hair dryer.....tiny, wall mounted hair dryers are for men or women who have very little hair. Mehr

The best thing about the hotel is its location. Otherwise, the name is bigger than the actual hotel.

The hotel was great! Would stay here again., The front desk employees were super. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable beds.....the location was perfect! Highly recommended!

Location was perfect to get around the city. Just a few blocks from Grand Central Station. Two nice bars around the corner. Beds were comfortable. Not much happening in hotel but it's NYC whose staying in room long.

Room size was small. We were assigned a room next to the ice machine. Guests from different levels of the hotel were filling up the ice buckets at all hours of the evening, definitely disturbed us. Hotel location is good, close to Time Square, but not worth the $ we paid for the weekend. Definitely won't return.

SERVICE IS VERY GOOD AND FAST,VERY CLOSE TO BRYANT PARK AND TIME'S SQUARE IS AT WALKING DISTANCE.,I TRULY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EVERYONE.

We fiound the Courtyard on Marriott very handy to the central train station, for getting to time square and all travel by train, bus etc. Very helpful staff, and it was great haveing Charlies Cafe right next door. We would stay again. We are from New Zealand

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott in Manhattan/Fifth Avenue over Labor day weekend 2009 and greatly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is located right besides the New York Public Library and one block away from Bryant Park which it was awesome. On our last day in NY, we had a pane ticket at 7pm and even though we checked out of the hotel at noon, the staff […] kept out luggage in their storage while we went to tourist the city for free! That was a great surprise. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who visits NY and wants to stay close to Times Square. Mehr

My only complaint is that our room was located right next to the ice machine in the hallway on the 25th floor. We could hear the sound of ice dropping into buckets periodically during the night and next morning. Other than that, room was nice and clean - we would stay there again.
