Das Hotel ist in New Carrollton (Maryland ). Die Umgebung besteht aus Supermärkten und Schnellrestaurants.Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Shuttelservice zur Metro .Die Hinfahrt nach Fahrplan ,die Rückfahrt nach ansage.Das Frühstück ist wie überall in Amerika nicht sehr reichhaltig ,aber man wird satt. So das übliche Essen.Kaffee Tee Toast MIlch Cornflex Rührei Butter Marmelade .Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr geräumig

Hotelzimmer sing großzügig mit eingebauter Kitchenette - alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt - das Frühstückbüffet (complimentray) ist reichhaltig und sehr gut - die Hotelpersonal ist hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend - das Hotelshuttle kann für Transfers zu nahegelegenen Zielen kostenlos genutzt werden - nächstgelegene Metro-Station: Vienna (orange) kann mit Taxi erreicht werden - wenn mit Auto unterwegs, ist Lage / Pries-Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Jeffersson Highway, sehr einfach zu finden, wenn man mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Der Service am CheckIn/Checkout ist nicht gerade umwerfend oder freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren genervt und recht ungeduldig. Das Doppel-Zimmer war ein Städte-Trip-Traum: groß, sehr sauber, das Sleep-Number-Bett (man kann den Härtegrad der Matratze individuell einstellen) in Kingsize war sehr bequem - gute Schlaf garantiert! in ca. 3 min ist man an der Metro-Station "Crystal City" (unter dem Marriott Hotel). Die Station hat eine Einkaufspassage. Das Ticketsystem der Metro ist leider etwas kompliziert - am besten vorher mal online reinschauen! Die Fahrt in die City zum weißen Haus und dem Memorial Park dauert ca. 20 min. Für einen Städtetrip in die City ist das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert!

Neben einem 37-Zoll-LCD-Fernseher mit Premium-Kabel-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: Videospielkonsolen und Pay-TV. Zur Zimmerausstattung gehören außerdem: Schreibtische, ergonomische Stühle sowie Direktwahltelefone und Voicemail. "Fabulous hotel"
This hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. A movie theater is right across the street. The red line of the Metro can be reached from within the building. We have stayed here many times and find the convenience and facilities very welcoming. The rooms are always clean and well kept. "nice, convenient"
the rooms were beautiful and spacious. THey had complementary breakfast (both hot and cold servings) and complementary drinks in the evening. In the room was a living room (with rollout bed), desk, couches, chairs, TV (2 of them), sink area and a separate room for the bed. My only issue is that internet was not free. "Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavillion Very Friendly"
We especially liked the free "happy hour" between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The staff at the registration desk was also helpful. They printed for us a Google map on how to get back home. We also enjoyed touring the many shops within the pavillion, and the great Cheesecake Factory Restaurant.

The only criticism I have is the charge for Internet access in your room. The hotels I stayed at in New York and Boston were cheaper than the Embassy Suites but all included free Internet access. "Close to Metro and shopping, but quiet at night"
The convenience to the Metro was amazing -- the Friendship Heights stop is right across the street. And it is not that far to more trendy neighborhoods -- I believe just 5 stops to Dupont Circle. The area is a bit quiet at night, with really only a handful of chain restaurants. I was kind of hoping the hotel would have a lobby bar as it is always nice […] to have a night cap before bed while on vaca. But aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Mehr

Our experience was outstanding! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located on the Red Line of the Metro. The train stops under the hotel, making for easy, convenient, commuting to DC sights. The trip in to DC to see museums and monuments was pretty quick, taking about 20 minutes by train.The hotel is housed in a mall with excellent options […] for dining and shopping. The complimentary breakfast is good, with plenty if options. The " Happy Hour" was great, and kid- friendly, with snacks for adults and children, as well as board games for everyone's enjoyment. "Great Hotel/Location"
Would stay there again! This Hotel had the Metro Line right below! It had stores right inside of the hotel and a Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano's as well as other restaurants. A movie theater across the street too. We only had the kids 2 days out of the 7, but it is very kid friendly! Loved it!

Can't say enough good things about our experience at embassy suites in chevy chase. Suites were clean and roomy enough for 2 adults and three boys ages 5,8,11. Loved the cvs, cheesecake factory and upscale retail stores literally right outside your hotel room. Don't even need to leave hotel to get metro. 15 minutes and you are in dc. Nice suite, however the layout of the suite was not as it was depicted on the web site. The suite was a bit smaller than we anticipated. We ordered room service, which the ordering phone call took longer and was more frustrating than we expected, due to a language barrier, the gentleman taking our order over the phone did not speak or understand English […] very well at all. We stayed at the Embassy Suites for two nights and couldn't have been more pleased. I was specifially impressed by the surrounding neighborhood-- there were tons of things to do and greast restaraunts all within a minute or two (walking distance). This was my wedding night the reception was at the Maggiano's next door. The location was the perfect place to sleep off the days excitement. Too bad they dont offer room service for breakfast, we didnt want to get dressed to go down for breakfast but at least the food was good. Then we went back up to sleep some more til our late check out.

This hotel has the best of many worlds - it is beautiful and well maintained with a full cook-to-order breakfast. In addition, the metro stop is in the basement and it's connected to / opens up to a shopping mall. For a hotel not in D.C., it is very convenient to get there.

We were pleasantly surprised to see how centrally located the hotel was to shopping, food, movies, downtown DC, etc. The hotel was clean, parking was easy and the staff was great. The rates were cheap and the room was very nice. We would stay here again next time we revisit DC.
