They are the worst hotel in central Flordia staff was rude dirty room tv was broken all in all it was the worst hotel I ever stayed in

I just needed a place to sleep at night and leave my bags during the day, I didn't stay at the hotel all day but I got to said, this hotel meet my expectation: safe, cheap, clean, quiet and well located. Nice pool, free breakfast, internet and available coin laundry in case you needed.

although the customer service was terrific there were several issues leaking ceiling nd cracked ceiling in the bathroom. problems with door ,no coffee maker in room but, the found me one.

The lobby was the hi-light of the entire hotel. The toliet ran all night. tv had poor reciption no remote . phone did not work in the room there was no refer. room was freshly painted and never cleaned after paint drips every were. The shower head and water spot in tub ran at the same time. The lighting in stair ways was very poor or not working at […] all. If your in desperate need of a room don't go to this hotel Mehr

I had great expectations from this hotel since it was in the tourist hot spot and the pricing was the same as the rest around the theme parks. That being said it did not even contend, there was rat feces on the floor, the toilet ran all night, the beds were literally falling apart and stained by something brown I will pretend was coffee, the shower/tub […] were so stained up it wasn't usable until we cleaned it, there were light bulbs just missing and any time we touched the other lights they flickered, the paint was coming off in sheets and the bathroom door was coming apart. I was not able to get a single minute of shut eye due to the toilet running/bed so uncomfortable. Mehr

I had something crawl over my foot which I flicked and heard a 'thud' as it landed on the floor. The next morning a pair of my shoes had bite marks in it and I woke up with 5 bites on my back.... Absolutely horrific................

When we arrived they suddenly had to charge us an extra $4.95 and rather not argue after a long wait we figured we would address the matter with Hotels.com. Imagine my shock when I checked my charge bill and Rodeway Inn had also charged an extra $40. I called Hotels.com and they took care of it right away. We found the curtain coming off the track and […] messed up, the handheld shower messed up, no room number for our room, and the air conditioner would not adequately cool. Check out was also a long wait. It was nice to see a microwave but would have been nice to know ahead on the web site. I called the day before arriving and asked about a handicap room. The lady I spoke to was very nice and good at accommodating my needs. Mehr

Hotel was not too bad for the price. Staff was very friendly. Could have been cleaner but when all you need is a place to sleep and shower it will work. Hallways were very dirty but room was better.,

Loved the convenience of the location, but that's about it. When checking in, we were not provided with the required parking pass, not told about breakfast times or when check out was! We attempted to get assistance locating the ice machine and the guy at the front desk was very rude. Also there is no elevator, so travel light!

The quality of this Hotel is just plain horrible. We first got into the room, and it smelled like pickle juice had been spilled in the carpet and never cleaned up. The only lights that worked in the room were the bathroom lights, and our phone didn't work to where we could even call the front desk to report the problems. I walked back to the front […] desk and reported all of the problems, and the lady assured me it would be taken care of 1st thing in the morning. We left the room at 7am and began our day in Orlando. We came back at about 11pm at night ready for a hot shower and bed only to find out that NONE of the problems were fixed. The room still smelled like pickle juice, none of the lights had been fixed, and the phone was still not working. I was too tired to deal with it so we had to open our drapes and use the parking lot light (which was right next to our window) as light for our room so we could see what we were doing. Not only did they not fix any of the issues I called about, but housekeeping didn't even make the beds, take the trash out, or even provide us clean towels. The following morning we were out and about in Orlando at 7am once again. I called from my cell phone while we were out, and notified the front desk of the problems, and the additional problems with the housekeeping. This lady mentioned to me that "many of our housekeepers have the day off today, but we will get them there today". I asked about maintenance to fix the other problems, or if we could even have a different room and her response was "I'm not sure about maintenance getting to it today, but i'll put the order in". I followed up by asking about switching rooms, and she said "well sir, we can't give you another room, you will have to just deal with this one for now unless one becomes available. So we got back again late that evening to find out that our room was still not cleaned, still not fixed, so I took the dirt towels to the front desk and let them have the dirty towels and Mehr

The hotel looks like in any moment can fall down. The ceiling paint in fall apart, the walls are broken. The tub are with rust, the carpets are dirty and wet, the walls lights actually the expansion that hold it falls, the bathroom vanity are cracked. I have to wait until midnight to get a remote control after three calls, then they call me around 1:30am […] to ask my last name because they have problems with the system and finally before 9am the knocked my door to ask me if I have check out today! The hotel smell like a wet dog. My children don't want to stay and they were afraid to sleep thinking that may be the room have rats too. Mehr

Just fine. Good for the price and convenience

Our stay there was ok, the thing that i did not like is there was ladies hair underneath the bedspread, also the pillows can be updated. There are alot of great placeds to shop and eat close by..always look for promo codes, u can save more money

You can't beat the price for Orlando, just be careful with them overcharging or double charging because its a pain to get them to refund any mistakes. This was an upscale motel 20 years ago but is now old and on its third owners. The carpets in the halls smell like wet dog but other than that its just fine. The rooms are good sized and comfy, there […] is a nice bar area, they charge extra for the continental breakfast. The wireless internet is so slow your better off using your phone as a connection if you can, the speed of the hotel wireless is worse than dial up. Rooms come with a small fridge but no microwave or coffee pot. Overall I have been comfortable in this motel and would stay again, the people that work here are nice for the most part and it is located in a great spot plus they have smoking rooms. Mehr

It was the most affordable room that was close to where I needed to be. The front desk clerk was very sweet and fast with my checking in and checking out. The hotel gives an old feeling, even though you can see that they have tried to update it. The room was clean, but felt old. Didn't feel comfortable sleeping on the bed. There were stains on the blankets. […] The building is just old and the landscaping is not well kept. It is affordable for anyone who wants a quick stay, but not a long term stay. Save up your pennies and go somewhere nicer, even if it is just for one night. Mehr

the inn had a total musty smell.the room had peeling paint on the ceiling and in the bathroom.

The hotel was a great price but there was a odor out of this world. It must have just flooded in the main building or something. I wouldn't go back unless there is new management . I only stay one night.

Very dirty and smelly.

I was very dispointed with the hotel, I had to change rooms 3 times, and was too tired to change again. TV, Furniture, Etc, are all outdated, not clean and damp. I would not stay there again.

If you are travel to enjoy the hotel do not expect 5 star hotel for what you pay for.

The rooms smelled very bad and the bathroom was very dirty walls and all, there was no ice machine thru out the place only in the lobby which was far away. But the personal was very nice and friendly.

we love this hotel we have stayed here many times. You cant beat the price or location would recommend it for everyone.

Ehhh.... No hbo sux

The first room they gave us was awful. The ac did not work, the carpet was peeling up from the floor, the bathtub had spiders living in it, and it was very musty. They gave us another room that was better (lots of disrepair but at least the ac worked). Might have been worth the low rate we got but then 2 days after we checked out I received another […] fee on my credit card for a "resort fee" that was never disclosed. I never received a receipt for it but they claim that I signed for it. I am still disputing this fee so we'll see what happens. With this added fee I could have gotten a much nicer place for just a few dollars more. Mehr

It is not a five star hotel, but they make it feel like a five star. The service is great and the personel is the best I have ever deal with. I'm staying there again if I get the opportunity to go back to Orlando

This hotel was a big dissappointment and will never be recommened to anyone nor will I ever consider staying in one again. The room was semi clean but had an old musky smell. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The drain in the tub did not drain and also witnessed a spider crawl out of the drain. The light fixtures between the beds did not work […] and the front desk was notified and never came to take care of it. The sliding glass door in the room which led to the pool area was off track and there was a crack which opened to the outside and was letting our cool air out. There was one small trash can for the entire room and the bathroom. When coming into the room with the key you had to pull on the handle down twice before the door would open. The pool was one of the reasons this hotel was considered, however was dirty and had no night time lights so we did not get in. When reserving the room was told that a fridge, microwave and coffee maker would be provided, however when getting there it was told that the microwave and coffee maker had to be rented. The website also said there was a pool bar. There was a pool bar but was closed and no one was there. The pictures on the website of the rooms, pool, and pool bar do NOT represent current conditions what so ever!! Mehr

The room was nasty, there was a roach crawling on the tv, in the bathroom and on the bed. The sheets on the bed had holes all in them and the paint was peeling off the walls. My family was scared to sleep here, but for one night and the price I guess that is what you get.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, very close to I-Drive and Universal Studios. That's the only plus. No security at all, lock was broken on the corridor door that led to the parking lot, anyone could have walked in and not be seen. The room itself was musty and had mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. The air conditioner was turned off […] -this is Florida in August! Lampshades had stains probably from moisture, the drawer pulls on the furniture were hanging off, the shower head was broken and had to be held in your hand to use, the toilet seat did not fit the toilet, round seat for an elongated bowl, and walls were patched with spackle or something and not painted. Just a mess and in dire need of some TLC. Could be a decent place if the owners cared at all about fixing it up. Mehr

The first room I got smelt like wet carpet and mold. They were very polite and changed my room. The next room I for smelt better but the bathroom needs some serious upgrading. The showerhead was coming out of the wall. The ceiling was stripping , the bath tub stained, the towel and rags did not appear clean and they had hair in them, the furniture had […] dirt marks on them and the iron board was filthy did not want to press my clothes. I scorned everything in that room. This is less than a one star hotel. Did not enjoy my stay and is less than a place to lay your head. Mehr

First of all Hotel.com gave me false information. The hotel room was dirty they had bugs the tube was filthy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for pets.

The first room they gave us was a mess. It wasnt even touched by a maid. It looked as the previse people how stayed there just left. the second room they gave us was a little cleaner. The bottem of the tub was peeling. When we whent to go to sleep and pulled the sheets back there was dead bugs in the sheets. we ended up bring in my blanket from the […] car and sleeping on it. This hotel is in need of major room renovations. The lobby was ok and the staff was nice. Talking to other guests, I found some were checked in to rooms that were never cleaned from the previous guest that stayed, they were not at all impressed with the rooms in general. The rooms were musty, tubs needed repair. It was TERRIBLE

Hotel was clean and service was great! Right next to alot of the attractions.

They have several buildings, all 2 stories. They do not have an elevator. My building must have been shut down for a while. There were stains in the hallway carpet and trash on the floor. It was 85 degrees outside, 90 in the hallway, and 95 in our room. It was late when we finally got up to the room otherwise it would have left. Had to turn the air […] on full blast to try and cool off until I finally fell asleep. I had to prop the table up at an angle over the AC to at least get it to blow at the bed. Mehr

Dead bolt broken on door. Not enough staff working front desk,always had to wait. Very old and needs updating.

This is an older hotel with cheap rooms. It is fairly decent for the price. Drinks at the bar are a little high but I am not sure what the average price is in Orlando. Went down to hoop on a bus to see the last shuttle launch. Stayed 2 nights without a problem. The hotel has a free shuttle but didn't use this service. The worst thing about the hotel […] where the outside doors where left open all night and didn't require a key card for entry on any of the outside doors. Mehr

Very bad hotel. Water leaking in the halls, hotel staff not very knowledgeable of their jobs, AC not working in some rooms and phones that were stolen from the rooms. Location was great as I was 3mins from Universal. But the quality of the establishment was very substandard. Free WIFI but only if you were in the hotel lobby. There is a per min charge […] if you want to use it from your room. It is only 2 floors but an elevator would be nice to carry heavy items to your room. Oh, and I only found 1 ice machine, it was on the opposite end of the complex and didn’t work. Mehr
