DoubleTree Suites by Hilton New York City - Times Square - New York

The location is prfect if you want to do lots of sightseeing. However, is located in extremely crowded place and next door is a transvestite show. The interior has not changed since late seventies and looks like a cheap brothel (my son's words), especially on 5th floor where restaurant is located. Pretty dirty hallways on floors. Suites rather on the […] smaller size, furniture from 70ies again, very small wardrobe, etc. However, rooms are clean, nice toiletries, etc. Urgent redecoration needed. Mehr

this was our first visit with our son and wanted it to be a wonderful experience for him. The staff (especially Michael) when we checked in was otu of this world. made us feel like we were the only people there despite being full. We wanted to extend our reservations but were unable. They did all they could to assist. Had to call maintenance for a minor […] issue and they were up to our room within three or four minutes. I was shocked. At other hotels I would still be waiting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We took subway to WTC and other sites, Broadway shows were within walking. Added bonus was the staff was willing to help you find what you wanted to do and they were always willing to give directions. Stay there and be completely satisfied Mehr

Room was very nice. Very convenient to Times Square and theater district. Difficult to get to the hotel because of the crowded Times Square area. I felt that Wi-Fi should have been free.

Check in was a breeze. The free warm cookies that we received on check in and check out were a lovely bonus. Our room slept 5 comfortably. My kids loved the Nintendo games. Great view and of course convenient to Broadway. The only complaint I have is that as soon as we got into our room, we used the coffee machine to make coffee and tea, figuring that […] when the maids turned down the beds at night they would replace what we had used so we would have more coffee and tea for the AM. They didn't, and we had even left the used tea bags and coffee pacs out so they would see them. Mehr

Hotel was very nice in a great location. A little pricey, but worth it. The pull out sofabed was not at all comfortable. Concierge service was excellent, recommending shopping locations, restaurants and even booked our broadway show.

Hotel in great location! Friendly customer service! Room service was great, however they never picked up the trays from the room or the hallway!

Perfect location on Times Square. The suite was very enjoyable. Will use the Double Tree again for our next visit to New York City.

The check in was really nice and easy the cookies were the best part. Our room was very nice and had lots of room. The bathroom was huge. Location right in the middle of Times Square. Everybody was very friendly. Our view was great we were on the 32nd floor overlooking Times Square. I thought it would be noisy but we didn't hear a thing. We will be […] back. Loved it. Mehr

Hotel was in the most perfect convenient location...middle of Timesquare. Our room was located on the 31st Floor with a wicked view from both sides of our suite with King size bedroom and a very comfortable pullout bed that slept 2 teenage boys. We will definitely stay he again without a question next time visiting NYC.

The hotel's location can't be beat for theatre goers. It's location, directly across from the TKTS booth with close proximity to the subway, make this a must do. I t may cost a little more (but, not much) but it was wirth it! Clean, comfortable rooms and ample security made it a great stay. We'll definately be coming back!

I am already planning my next visit to NYC and the Doubletree at Times Square. The convenience, cleanliness, comfort, and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, added so much to our stay in NYC. Stayed in the Doubletree Suites in Times Square for one night and We couldn't have asked for anything more. The hotel is a great location, walk to everything and a fabulous view from our room. Very spacious and clean. We will stay here again in the future!

I had a corner suite and the man at the front desk told me I was mistaken that my room did not have two windows facing in two different directions, but when I got to my room, my room was just like in the picture and I did have a corner with two windows facing in both directions. Stayed here for two nights, following two days of meetings and needed rest and a little fun too. This hotel is right in the middle of the fun of Times Square, yet it is quiet and so very comfortable. I love DoubleTree and have stayed in other cities and I always feel I am at home away from home. This hotel had wonderful staff, a great bed and plenty […] of room to spread out. A great desk to work and a kitchenette to have a snack any time. I ordered room service from Gingers and it was so delicious and delivered hot in under 25 minutes- on a weekend!! Walk out the door and you are surrounded by everything "New York". Security is right there, doorman is too and I was traveling alone and never worried about safety at this hotel. It is a 5 star for me and I am coming back!! Mehr

Rooms were clean, service was efficient and the location was great. Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and everyday thereafter if you ask for them at the front desk. Buffet breakfast at hotel was also good.

What a wonderful experience! an affordable, spacious, suite in the center of New York City. The staff was superb; so helpful and gracious. Our suite as immaculate and had lovely bed and bath linens. We'll be back!

If you are looking to be right in the middle of everything then this is the place to be right in the middle of times square. Hotel service is excellent and you could not ask for better. From parking your car to your luggage. I was amazed that once in your room if you keep your window closed you dont hear all the noise outside. When we arrived at our hotel we were greeted and was given our room assignment. Once we arrived in our room, we noticed a very strong smell in the hall walls and in our room. We called with concern, and was told their phones were ringing off the hook with the same concerns that they would look into it. X4 call to them later, with 4 different stories. […] Nothing was resloved. Was told to speak with the manager the next morning. That manager had shown no regaurd to our 5 calls and no return calls back...wow...all I have to say...is this hotel did nothing but try to pass us off. They said the would comp us a room via sending us a email...week later nothing. You choose where ypu spend your hard earned money...I will choose not here ever again. Customer service was a joke. And they get paid for that? Where do they do their training? Mehr

This is a great hotel and one of the best in the Time Square location.

Great view did not really enjoy the bathtub but the rest of the room was great. I did not like the fact that i forgot my toothbrush and the it took a long time to bring one to the room we even had to call down a second time. we really enjoy the hotel . It was close to everything with walking distance to the theater . I've recommended already to my friends.

If you want to see NYC this is the hotel to be at. It is at the centre of all action, no need for a car, subway on the bottom of building; and walking distance to anything you want to see, shop, shows, and eat. Loved it with 3 kids in tow. the suite was comfortable for 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child. The location was great. You could walk outside and feel like you were part of the New York scene. The room was comfortable . The hotel meals were pricey so we ate out. There were more than enough choices close by. I would recommend it.

$$$$ but nice to be close to all the shows!

The DoubleTree Suites is just a great hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is smack in the center of Times Square and the theatre district! Staff is great, especially the valet. The hotel is roomy, clean, and quiet. My only complaint was that there was no hair dryer in the bathroom and no robes, but aside from that, it's super!

Great hotel, super value, excellent service, great location, highly recommend to all.

Faboulous location for Times Square and Broadway theaters. Its such an easy walk to the theaters and convenient to Subway also, Room (King suite) was also larger that almost any other NYC room I've stayed in. I'll certainly go back here.

Perfect location for theater goers. Loved having a separate sitting area. Restaurants and theaters all withing walking distance. Noise level from Times Square was non-existent. Our only complaint was that the 2 rooms across from us were occupied by extremely noisy and inconsiderate young people who were up all night and slamming doors. My husband had […] to call security at 5 a.m. to stop the noise so we could get some sleep. Security was responsive. Mehr

good hotel, good service, good location ; the cost of a suit for a family is a good balance; the formula with breakfast is interesting just the sofa which can be convert into a bed are not comfortable.

We had an excellent stay at the Double Tree Suites at Time Square while in NYC. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. The size was fantastic...especially for NYC! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this hotel, and will stay there again when traveling to NYC. WONDERFUL!!!

Right in heart of Times Square everything a few steps away. Staff couldn't do enough for us . Will defo stay here again A MUST STAY!!!!

I love this hotel I plan on staying there again from the outstanding staff, the cleanliness , the excellent breakfast at Ginger's and the awesome chocolate chip cookies. It was a true home away from home.

This hotel was great. We had our two young girls with us and they were nothing but nice to them. The doormen were wonderful and joked around with the girls every time they saw them. The hotel's location was great and we were able to walk to everything. We asked for a room that was right on Times Square and we were granted this request. Clean, friendly staff, great location. Comfortable except for the pull out bed.. it was wirey and uncomfortable.

The location is excellent, the staff very helpful, room was spacious and very clean, and the view of Times square incredible! The very modern, small lobby made us wonder when we arrived but the friendliness and personal service of everyone made our stay outstanding.

an excellent hotel and location, very clean room and worth paying an extra £30 -£40 a day for a fantastic view of times squre and the hudson river. food very expensive in hotel - only downside ! we had 4 days here the view so good my wife did'nt want to leave the room ! would recomend to anyone. the hotel is situated right dead centre of the square […] with all it's lights & screens around - best hotel for this location without doubt. Great location and fabulous size room...especially for NYC! We have stayed here before and even though the rates are higher these days, it is still great hotel with great value.
