The bathroom is too small and there wasn't even a soap kept in the bathroom. For 2 days in a row, the only breakfast available was bread and butter with only one toaster working, so there were huge queues. And the service was lousy - with so many guests around, there was no one to see if the bread was getting over and needed a refill. The breakfast […] area is too small and was over-crowded. *No dresser to put your clothes in. Very little strorage space. After all we were staying for 9 nights. *Furniture is worn and pen marked. *Coffee cups were not clean, and had been drank out of. *When we asked that the bedding be changed. They brought us up a flat sheet and wanted us to change out the bed. * The back window overlooking the swimming […] pool was so charred as if this hotel had been in a fire, that I could not look out the window. Just gross. * Heavy dust in the room. My spouse layed her black shorts and clothes on a shelf next to the couch since there was no strorage, only to pick them up full of dust! The staff did not offer to clean them or anything! *We have pictures and tried to have the manager or the cleaning staff come up and show them. Neither of them showed. *We have stayed in Hyatts' throughout our travels, and for this hotel to call themselves a Hyatt is a total embarrassment to the Hyatt name. *We are comtemplating posting these photos on the social network so other travelers do not have to go through what we experienced! The staff was very helpful made by stay with 5 grandkids a lot easier, the rooms were more than I expected and a great price,will be staying there next visit to San Antonio!

Overall very good. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Plenty of free parking, excellent wi-fi. No major complaints. Just a few notes as to what could have made it better: AC did not seem to work in the hallways or the elevator. Some stains in the elevator capet. Breakfast could have been more...expected meats, eggs, potatoes, […] waffles, etc as other hotels offer. Newspaper available in lobby but not delivered to room as I prefer. However overall experience was very good. Staff is outstanding and very attentive. I needed to return to the hotel after checking out to use the computer in their business center due to unexpected developments and there was no problem in doing so. Mehr

Visited SeaWorld with my family and Hotel was approximately 15 min. Away depending on traffic. Staff was extremely friendly and service was excellent. I have also stayed at the Hyatt Place on the Riverwalk and was also a good experienece. There are restaurants near by like Saltgrass Steakhouse, Chipotle (favorite) and may others. Very nice well maintained hotel. Close to Fiesta Texas and Sea World. Pool was large and clean and the gym was well equiped. Breakfast was a little thin, but not bad.

The hotel was great, it was practically next door to my sister. The location was great and the service was even better ! Two thumbs up hyatt ! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family !

air condition in the room makes a loud noise and makes a difficulty to sleep in the night.

The room was great, plenty of room for the whole family. The staff was polite and friendly. Would stay their again if visiting San Antonio.

The bathtub had a leaky faucet and the room did not have a microwave.

The stay was awesome! huge rooms and so clean

too many large families staying in small hotel. this hotel is for the business traveler, not for families to make weekend getaways but for the price and amenities families do the latter.

We love staying at the Hyatt Place when we come to Six Flags. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are great! Very spacious and clean. We stay at Hyatt Place where ever we can now!

They would give me a 2 Queen bedroom as I requested because the reservation was made through a third party. One of the days, they didn't clean our room.

This was our first family vacation in a couple years and it was great. The pool was a great size for us and our son.

Carpet was filthy, dirty. First room smelled like nasty feet, and carpet was very damp. Was moved to the second room, and bathroom had mold stain in the ceiling. Toilet was also nasty, dirty, moldy. I was disgusted and will NEVER stay at a Haytt again!!! BUT, the employees were very nice and tried their best to attend to me.

We enjoyed our two night stay - it was located within a short distance from several places we plansned on visiting.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff was very professional and friendly. The room is large, clean, and comfortable. This was the best hotel stay I have experienced in years!

Had a great time at this hotel, great location rooms and staff. Would recommend to friends and family, reasonable price for it had to offer.

The hotel was nice. Staff members were friendly and very helpful. The room itself wasgreat with tons of space. We stayed in a King bed with pull out sofa bed. Unfortunately our room was right off the elevator and was super noisey not to mention the sound of passing 18 wheelers on the highway. Only major complaint was the noise and the tiny restroom! […] However i would stay in this motel again but would make sure that the room was AWAY from the elevator. Breakfast was SUPERB! Mehr

Expecting a nice place, instead very below my expectations-- felt unsafe, rooms are very old and hotel is run down-- bagels for breakfast, not at all what we expected, we stayed the first night and cancelled the next and found another place to stay Pool is out back with short fence and up against a not-so good neighborhood-- felt unsafe. The couch in […] the room had several stains, the shower room was very tiny, I felt like I needed to take a Colorox shower after staying here. The only thing good was the location was okay-- but really disappointed with the hotel.Looks nice from outside, and the internet really fooled me with some pics, I was expecting a very nice place, but even the lobby was very small --- would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable however the food orderd from them was not good and took almost 45 minutes longer than we were told. Also had several issues with customer service including waiting while they were "chatting" amongst themselves and waiting on the pool to be unlocked when it should have been open. I was not pleased with the treatment […] by staff but the hotel itself is nice and if I didn't plan on room service, I would stay again. Mehr

Nice lobby and great atmosphere, good breakfast. We had 2 double beds and the couch folded out to a bed, was great for our 4 kids and my wife and I. I'd stay there again easily.

This hotel was in a great location, and above our expectations. The room was so nice and the service was excellent. The continental breakfast was good, but the only thing that it did not provide was a hot breakfast, of course it had it, but for a cost. Breakfast was still good.

Up until the morning we checked out, this hotel was great. I chose it because of its 93% approval rating and because it had a pool. This was very important since I have a 4 and 6 year old. The majority of our trip was spent as SeaWorld, and this hotel was conveniently located approximately 10 miles away. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms […] were "roomy", and the breakfast was good. On the last day of our stay, we planned to spend the entire morning at the pool. We got up early, ate breakfast and headed down only to find out the the pool was closed for maintenance/landscaping. What a disappointment! However, hotels.com and the hotel made good and gave me a refund for one of the nights. Its nice to still have some customer service around! Mehr

The hotel room was plenty big and clean. It was farther than we thought, but that is certainly not the hotel's fault. When we came downstairs for breakfast it was crowded but doable. I was dissapointed with the selection, wish i didn't have to pay $4 for 1 waffle, but did it anyway. Overall the hotel is very nuce and clean.

Everything about the Hotel was nice... 2 down falls... 1) not enough sitting for breakfast during a packed house 2) we didn't get housekeeping during a 2 night stay, although it could've been a misunderstanding between the maid and I. Both miner things that will NOT keep me from staying aging! :)

Spacious rooms, great breakfast and very attentive staff.

My best friend and I shared a room with our children for a trip to Fiesta Texas. The staff was amazingly helpful and nice, even clearing our tables after our FREE continental breakfast. We brought our Wii, hooked it up to the TV, and the kids were entertained all evening. We will definetly stay there again.

Mirror slide closet door not functioning. The closet door was off track preventing closet door to open and close freely. Did not use the closet. Security door locking mechanism that is bolted to the hotel room door frame had one of the two screws missing defeating the purpose of this door security lock. Hotel charged my credit card for two nights […] of stay even though charges were pre-paid ON-LINE five days prior to checking into hotel. I was told the manager will be contacting me within 24 hrs regarding crediting amount back to credit card. What an inconvenience Mehr

Got fooled by the name, thought it was a Hyatt hotel but it was a nasty dirty place. Didn't even look like they changed the sheets, rather just remade the bed after the last guest slept in it. Not enough outlets for charging devices, very small bathroom and tub was flooding because the drain was backed up. Overall, not a good hotel unless you plan to […] rent it by the hour. Mehr

I expected more from this Hyatt since I stayed in the Hyatt in Tulsa. It was nice & everything worked. I just thought .....the room would be a little cleaner, the toilet lid would not be split, & the tub would be newer. For the price they did pretty good though so I give them a thumbs up.

We were impressed with the condiiton of the hotel. Very new, clean accomodations. However, the rooms were cooled with a window unit and it was not cool enough for the size of the room. The bathroom door was too large for the space. Otherwise everything else was great.

The service was excellent!

My husband and I just wanted somewhere to stay for a night in San Antonio. Rather than spending big bucks to stay downtown (like we usually do), we decided on this Hyatt Place. The price and service were great, and so was our room. The location was great...we went downtown for one evening, and then on our way out of town the next morning stopped at […] La Cantera/The RIM to do shopping.
