Simply perfect

This hotel was recently converted to a Comfort Inn, and the no-smoking policy must be a new one. The sign at the front desk says there'll be a $100 charge if you smoke in the room. We checked-in to room 301, and the smell of smoke was obvious. I called the front desk to voice my concern about being charged for smoking in the room, when we are non-smokers. […] It was noted. But, that initial stink was there every time we came back into the room. The end-of-the-hall exit doors to the outside parking lot require a card key to enter the building, but the door on our end of the building was broken. This door is right by the pool, where we saw plenty of kids swimming. Hate to see anything happen to anyone because the door allowed access to non-patrons. There's a train track immediately behind the building's parking lot. With the windows cracked open for the stink of smoke, you can clearly hear the trains go by. The glass insulates the sound very well, when closed, but not the train's whistle. Mehr

Although the rooms were small, they contained everything we needed, including a bar fridge, and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast which was included was great. There was eveything in the buffet bar...lots of fresh fruit, yogart, cereals etc. Delicious.Great free shuttle service to attractions in the area...Ford Museum, […] Restaurants, and Mall shopping. Third floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Staff never checked pool area where several young children were unattended in the pool and out of control which made it impossible for my children to swim in the pool.

Hotel rooms smell really bad here. I had a non-smoking room but it smelled awful like it had been smoked in for years.

The staff at the front desk were great. Really made you feel @ home. The free breakfast was really good. It's nice that you can eat before you leave the hotel and start your day. The rooms were clean and the layout of the room was good. We liked that the sink was seperate from the shower and the toilet. My husband and I stayed with our five-year-old grandson for his first roadtrip sans parents with his grandparents. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. We enjoyed the shuttle service to the Henry Ford Museum. Our visit was so much fun--the museum and Rouge factory tour had so many interesting things for adults and five-year-olds […] to enjoy. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool with its beautiful views to the outside. We will recommend the hotel and the surrounding area's attractions to our friends. very nice, clean hotel. The only shortfall was the breakfast. Something was always missing, orange juice, bread, jam. This was a shame, as the hotel was otherwise quite nice.

We chose this place for a couple of reasons: location to The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, price, pool, breakfast included. It was very nice. The staff was very friendly. Reviews I read said the pool was cold; I was hoping this was a one-time occurance for that person but alas the pool was on the cool side but it was February and the 5-year old didn't […] mind. Great restaurant selection down the street. Our night did have a lot of families/kids. Mehr

Very nice hotel, Newly remodeled.

I stayed at this hotel after reading the other customer reviews. The staff was smart in placing the somewhat louder guests away from the more quiet guests, which made the stay pleasant. The location is very convenient to many of the area tourist attractions and is easy to locate. I noticed the hotel staff definitely did their best to keep the guests […] happy. Excellent service and very clean hotel. Breakfast was very good as well. The breakfast worker was so pleasant, always smiling. When all of the workers are happy, that's a good sign. Will be staying there again

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel and room were clean and had all required amenities. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, what one would expect from a free, complimentary breakfast. The location was great for the museums in the area and the hotel was easy to locate. the only complaint is that the pool was too cold for my kids to swim in. the staff put us together in adjoining rooms which almost never happens anymore so that was a nice plus.

The location is convienant for everything but food. The restaurants are close but their is no parking. We had to settle on fast food both nights because of this. The hotel is clean and everyone is friendly. What I liked alot was they gave you a list of local place to eat. I stayed for a football Bowl game and only stayed for two nights. The complimentary […] breakfast was anything but mediocre at best. They had the basics but the eggs were those nasty circular processed things that were hard and rubbery and besides bagels and muffins they had waffles. The batter was disgusting. I suggest the hotel upgrades the quality of their food and it would be great. Overall a nice stay. Mehr

I picked this hotel last minute for an emergency trip without reading many reviews. I must say that I was very happy with my selection. The hotel was very clean, the workers were friendly, and the immediate area was nice. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn to visit Greenfield Village. The rate was very reasonable. The hotel staff were very friendly and I would recommend the hotel.

The room was clean but that was about the only good I can say. The pool was cold and we were told that is how it always is. The indoor pool was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel. The children ended up not being able to swim. When I tried to use the TV remote the battery was dead. I called the front desk and after telling them the remote was […] not working, I was informed the batteries were probably dead and the hotel did not have any new ones. I had to call back and tell them I needed a different remote if there were no batteries. The TV did not work without the remote. Mehr

We had an unexpected death in the family and had to find another location (other than my daughters home) to congregate and have our Christmas celebration as we only had one weekend that we could all be together, due to varying work schedules, and still the funeral. The hotel staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Every staff person at the front desk, […] in the dining area, in the hallway went out of their way to speak with any patron who happened to walk by them. Great value. Excellent breakfast, nice exercise room. The rooms are recently refurbished with nice flat screens, the bed was comfortable, the internet excellent. An all around good experience.

This place is the best part of Dearborn. Close to Fairlane mall and Dearborn University . It is 5 minutes from Ford Company . Best if you are business trips to Detroit . Very convenient location. Very cheap and clean . Will recommend if you need to stay closer to Detroit and not feel unsafe.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendly service. What a value!

Attention: The lobby can be very noisy during the week-end and consequently the rooms next to it are not quiet ! Ask for a room in the floors. The pastries of the breackfast are not terrific but the rest is fine. The fitness room is fine.

My stay at this Comfort Inn was very pleasant, the room was very clean and well maintained and the staff was very nice as well.

This hotel was real convenient to "The Ford" Dearborn. We enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator is a plus. The staff extremely courteous. Plenty of breakfast food and good coffee. Location is safe and has easy access by car to Detroit. I would definately stay here again.

Liked Hotel, bfst was great, we came in at midnight....area seemed a little remote and Michigan had 5 strip clubs on the way

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is second-to-none in proximity to Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford museum and they provide free shuttle service within 5 miles. The staff service was exemplary. They were in the middle of remodeling, but it did not disturb or inconvenience us. I would recommend this hotel and would definately stay […] there again if in the area. Mehr

Decent place, decent location. Clean rooms. Breakfast is a madhouse, get there early. Sausage patties and eggs, bagels, cereal, etc. I would stay there again.

Great location for ALL the things we wanted to do & see. Highly recommend the location plus they are in the process of so much updates: New carpet throughout, New entrance decor, & more.
