Staff were polite, breakfast was typical. Rooms smelled Musty, was conveniently located next to Conference Center and about 5 blocks from the beach.

I ran water through for hot tea, and before putting my tea bag in the cup, looked inside, and there were bug eggs floating. We let the hotel know and they said they were sorry, but didn't do a thing to compensate for that disgusting discovery. They said they would put in a new machine. Conveniently located but that's about it. This hotel is run down, and needs a serious renovation on the inside. Rooms are outside access. There is a small microwave and fridge in the room. They are spacious, but only because there should have been a table in the room (there were table chairs, but no table) BIGGEST COMPLAINT: The water temperature […] in the shower was TERRIBLE. It would flucuate the entire time you were in it from freezing to scalding hot. Because of this I would never stay here again. Mehr

I attended a conference in Virginia Beach and stayed at two different hotels while I was there. This was one of them. I was hesitant, because of the reviews, but did it anyway because I assumed folks were being mean. I was right. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. The guys at the front desk were more than accomodating and kind, giving me maps, […] telling me about the area, and even helping to straighten out my reservation, which was a little complicated. Would this hotel be appropriate for a family of four walking four blocks on a hot day to the beach? Probably not but it was perfect for me. People should know what's going to make them comfortable and make reservations appropriately. This hotel was comfortable, clean, and I would stay there again. Mehr

The room was fine...We were close to the Doctors that we came to visit. The hotel was very quiet. We would come back again if needed.

I woke in the morning to find two bed bugs on the adjacent bed. I actually researched them on the internet and confirmed they were bed bugs. I immediately went to the registration desk to check out. When I told them they had bed bugs and showed them the pictures I took they simply said, "Thank you."

This Quality Inn Pavilion needs to improve the conditions of the facility. The carpet in the room was wet and humidity throughout the room. The door in the bathroom would not close and the sink and faucet was not cleaned. One of the towels had stains all over, I just put it on the side. the trash dumptair was over full and lot of birds and bugs around […] the area. The Continental breakfast is a joke, very poor service and not enough food to be served. I felt that the food was not eatable, lost my appetite right away. The coffee tasted like water, the area of the dining was not cleaned and could not have any fruit because they never brough anymore. I would not recomend this hotel. Mehr

However, the BK bar SUCKSS!!! Better off getting BK some where else!! Other than, that I was happy!

we enjoyed our stay and would probably come back,only complaints were front desk did not know where roads or highways were located we had to redlie on gps, and breakfast was not good at all.

when i first walked in it seemed like no one had clean it in days. the fridge had something black all in the inside.

Good-Very friendly staff. Pool was nice. The bathroom was huge and you can tell it was recently renovated. Room was clean. Not so good-Renovated bathroom looked nice but had still had bad drywall work and holes in wall. Room had that typical musty smell when we first got there but it wasn't really that bad. The faded stain I discovered on the sheet […] after waking up was a little bit of a turn off too. It was a little far from the beach too but we knew that before we got there. At first the free breakfast seemed really lame, too. After finally speaking to someone, she told us we could have eggs and hashbrowns too but they cooked them to order. Oh, and for $2, we got to add bacon. I would have walked out disappointed if I didn't ask but ended up having a really nice breakfast for $2. Mehr

wow---what a dump! the t.v. was broken, the bathroom had spiders and webs--the room furniture was falling apart- the windows were dirty room service brought a microwave oven for the baby's food- a broken one--ill never stay here again!

The bath room was not clean and there was a big dirt ring in the tub. The room had a big wet stain unsure what it was on carpet. The hotel itself was not clean and is not welcoming or appeared comfortable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

At check in the clerk couldn't figure out how to code the pass key so I made a trip to my room and had to come right back to get a new key. Happened again on day 2. Grounds were dirty, furniture in the stairwell, concrete coming up, would have expected more. Questionable people loitering, police sirens, stay elsewhere.

The hotel is a very good clean hotel. Especially if you're coming down for just one night. Some things may be a little outdated, but it was Clean and very close to the Convention Center and Start line of the race. Which was my primary focus. Planning on staying here again next year for the race.

Very good hotel for a last minute booking. We arrived at 11:45 am and were allowed to Check In, though the room had 2 full size beds instead of 2 queens as i reserved but i was alright with that. No real flaws except some caulking that should be patched up around the bath tub, maybe put a coat of sealer and spray some Round up in the Parking lot and […] there was an iron mark in the carpet which I actually found funny cause who would iron clothes on the carpet, haha. Would definitely stay here again, very convenient and easy access to everywhere i needed to go. I do reccomend to anyone looking for a hotel after a concert at VA Beach Ampitheater Mehr

The room had a really bad smell as soon as you walked in the door, there were holes in the walls and the bathroom was horrible me and my two grandchildren checked in there and we only used it to change our clothes because it was that bad. We slept in our van the first night. The second night there was something that came out of the wall and made one […] of the doors in the wall open up a nice maitenance man by the name of George came and tried to tell me that it was the plumbing from upstairs and he moved us to another roon that was a little better than that room but it was still bad. I would never stay in this hotel again even if someone paid me it was a really bad experience. Mehr

Quality Inns tend to be pretty hit or miss and I'd say this one lands on the positive side. We drove, so we didn't mind that it was far from the beach (you wouldn't want to walk it). Right at I-264 into and out of town. Big parking lot, the room seemed recently remodeled. Had the usual salty mildew ocean smell that can't be helped really. It was very […] average, but not in a bad way. If you just need a place to sleep and shower, you could do a lot worse. I'd stay here again for the right price. Mehr

We stayed for two nights, the staff was very professional and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is a little far from the beach (5-6 blocks) and there is nothing around it, except for a convention center. We would recommend this Hotel, can't beat the price!
