wir waren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß genug für uns drei. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt etwas mehr auszugeben.

Wir haben zu zweit hier übernachtet. Sehr günstig für 3 Nächte über Ostern. Für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel echt TOP ... mindestens so gut, wie die meisten 3-Sterne-Hotels! Das einzige, was gestört hat, waren die unfreundlichen Reinigungskräfte - trotz "Do not disturb"-Schild sind sie einfach reingekommen, und waren sehr, sehr unfreundlich, weil wir noch nicht aus dem Zimmer waren. Die Metro ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir sind anfangs mit dem Auto nach Paris reingefahren... ist aber nicht zu empfehlen - die Metro (Tagesticket lohnt sich!) fährt sehr regelmäßig und überall hin und man hat keinen Stress mit der Parkplatzsuche. Einen Supermarkt hatten wir nicht gefunden... aber der McDonalds war auch nicht weit ;-)

"Das ganze Haus eine Baustelle"
Leider war das ganze Haus eine Baustelle. Auf allen Stockwerken gleichzeitig musste man in den engen Gängen auf halb herausgerissenen Böden um Farbeimer zirkeln und aufpassen, dass Kleider und Gepäck keine Farbe abbekamen. Auch für die von Baumaterialsäcken umlagerte Rezeption kein Vergnügen. Wenn alles fertig ist wird's ganz nett. Die Endstation der […] Metro 4 ist DIREKT vor der Tür! "Design Lobby, einfache Zimmer, Metroanschluss"
Die Lobby sieht schon toll aus, aber leider ziemlich schmutzig. In Richtung Zimmer hört allerdings Design auf und man findet einfache, doch sehr saubere Zimmer vor. Angenehm ist, dass die Metro direkt vor dem Haus hält. Also durchaus empfehlenswert, doch Designerwartungen sollten zurückgeschraubt werden.

"Tolle Ausgangsposition für Städtetrip"
Das Rezeptionspersonal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht,was man vom Personal im Frühstücksraum nicht sagen kann. Diese schienen immer genervt und Freundlichkeit gab es auch nicht. Am letzen Tag platzierte man uns im "Abstellraum" (Schwarz gestrichener Nebenraum des Frühstücksbereich) zum Frühstück.Das Frühstück ist für französische Verhältnisse (Franzosen […] sind keine Frühstücker!) gut. Müsli, Joghurt, Nutella, Honig, Marmelade, Rührei und harte Eier, Baguette, Croissantes, "süße Teiclchen", Milch, Saft, Kaffee,Tee und eine Käsesorte. Wurst gibt es keine, war aber auch nicht wild. Frühstück war ausreichend und man wurde satt. Zimmer sind relativ sauber (nicht unters Bett und in die Ecken sehen!), Bad war auch okay (Duschkopf war völlig verkalkt, aber wenigstens kein Schimmel), Wassertemperatur meist sehr heiß, einstellen war mühsam,aber okay (waren im Winter dort).Wir hatten keine Designzimmer, jedenfalls sahen sie nicht so aus. Zimmer realtiv klein, aber auch das ist normal in Frankreich, Betten waren soweit okay, nur die Überdecken waren "total verkeimt" und landeten bei uns gleich in der Ecke. Schrankraum ist auch kaum vorhanden gewesen, aber auch das kennt man aus Frankreich. Übrigens gibt es einen kostenfreien Gepäckaufbewahrungsraum, wenn man früher oder später an- bzw abreist. Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden mit dem Hotel, da wir die" Frankreich typischen Abstriche" gemacht haben. Das Hotel hat eine zentrale Lage, unmittelbar an der Metrostation. Von dort aus kommt man überall hin und auch die Fahrtabstände sind optimal. Allerdings ist die Metro extrem dreckig und stinkt mächtig nach Fäkalien. Aber das ist wohl in Paris normal, denn auch sonst ist es dort sehr dreckig, überall "Tretmienen" auf dem Bürgersteig, es wird überall uriniert (auch in der Öffentlichkeit) und hingespuckt. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln super zu erreichen - Ausgang Metro direkt vor Hotel. Hotel liegt zwar an der Hauptverkehrsstraße - bei geschlossenen Fenster aber kein störender Verkehrslärm. Zimmerservice vorbildlich. Aufzug nur für 2 Personen. Uns hat das Treppenlaufen in den 7. Stock nichts ausgemacht!

"As expected but nothing more"
Paris is expensive, so this relative cheap hotel is nothing special to recommend.
"Gute Lage aber mehr auch nicht"
Nun wirklich empfehlen würden wir das Hotel nicht. Es fing schon damit an, dass das versprochene W-Lan nicht richtig oder überhaupt nicht vorhanden war. Der Aufzug ist auffallend sehr klein, und mehr als zwei Personen (ohne) Koffer passen nicht rein. Sagen wir mal so, das Hotel war rein zweckdienlich, wenn man einen Platz zum Schlafen braucht. Einrichtung der Zimmer ist Geschschmackssache, aber Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, Betten bequem. Ohne Frühstück buchen, es hat eine Bäckerei nebenan und auch Cafés und Brasserien.

"praktisch, nahe Métro, rel. günstig"
Das Hotel ist 3 Min von der Métrostation. Für einige Tage sehr parktisch. Relativ günstig. Man hört die Nachbarn der anderen Zimmer sehr gut. Es hat was man braucht und das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich.

"Guter Kaffee zum Frühstück"
Toplage für Metro-Benutzer! Selber gezählte elf Schritte vom U-Bahnaufgang bis zum Hoteleingang! Einfach renovierte Zimmer, sehr farbig, aber billig und mit wenig Detailliebe gemacht. "Convenient location, otherwise not great"
We stayed at this hotel for a week in April. The good thing about the hotel was the location (the subway entrance is literally right outside the door). Unfortunately, there were numerous problems we encountered during our stay. First, our room (107) was *so* dark! I mean, two tiny lights above the bed, and a desk lamp in the corner. With a tiny window […] and very little sunlight, you could barely see anything in the room. They really should add another floor lamp to the room. It's hard to comment on the cleanliness of the room, because we honestly couldn't see anything! I commented to the front desk but all they could say was "isn't the room beautiful?". Second, our room should be avoided if you want to have a peaceful night's sleep. The problem is that on one side of the room is the stairwell going down and the other side is the breakfast room. So each morning around 6:00am you start hearing hotel workers (and other guests) walking around and people getting the breakfast ready. It's extremely loud and will definitely wake you up. Also, even though we had a non-smoking room, it seems like smoke smell seeps into the room somehow. We ended up stuffing a towel at the bottom of our door to help reduce the smell. The hotel staff mostly seemed nice, although the guy who helped check us in was rather rude. The others seemed pretty friendly. If I were traveling to Paris, I'm not sure that I would stay here again. Mehr

"TERRIBLE service & facility"
The elevator was broke during my trip (5 nights). I ask hotel staff to help me carry baggage, they said no one can help and just say sorry without do anything! So I need to carry 3 heavy baggage(60KG) by myself and walk to the 7th floor when check in & check out, it`s so TIRED! Except walk to 7th floor EVERY DAY, still have noise from next room In the […] middle of the night, you can heard someone talking clearly ! Only one advantage is good location. Mehr
"Good value for money"
The hotel is located a bit far from the city but it is conveniently located directly next to a Metro endstation. The room we got was NOT one of the ones they show on the webpage because it has not been refurbished. The door is very thin and not quite "soundproof", the carpets on the floor are old and there are some stains on the walls. The bathroom […] is tough OK but the shower is quite small. "Ideal Hotel Paris"
Excellent location. Metro station is at doorstep. Rooms are small but clean. Very tiny elevator so a room issued on the first floor is a bonus. Hotel staff are very helpful and are bilingual. Hot buffet breakfast is available for a charge but worth it. Touch screen internet access is available for free in the breakfast dinning area. WiFi is for free […] in room. "Great location, but a lot street noise"
We stayed at the Ideal Hotel for 4 nights and had a great time in Paris. The metro stop is just outside the door, very convenient. We got to Paris before check in time and, as someone mentioned, the luggage storage room is unlocked and seems to be unmonitored. The room was comfortable, although I would try to get an inside room if I stayed here again. […] The intersection is very busy, even at 2 or 3 in the morning and is quite heavy by 7am. It wasn't bad with the windows closed, but If it had been warmer the noise with open windows would have been hard to deal with. The dining room staff were very nice and helpful. Front desk staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the elevator was broken. 7 floors was quite a hike. The room was clean. Bed very comfortable!
The hotel was fine, but was not nearly as nice as the pictures indicated!

This was a nice little hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the internet worked extremely well. the problem we had with the hotel was that it was noisy. the other guests were noisy and also in the morning there would be lots of banging against the wall. I guess they were going through construction. also we were two people and should have been on a single queen bed but were put into a 3 twin beds room. The hotel was very close to the tunnel trains and the buses. So, you can easily get to where you want to go even though it was farther away from the touristy locations. There was some very good restaurants in the area. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was good.

I was unlucky since the furnace broke down the day I came, meaning there was no heat in the room and no hot water. That was not the hotel's fault, but they may have done more to ensure that clients had a nicer stay, by offering extra blankets, advise/warning about cold water perhaps even suggestions to where you could have a warm bath or even in an […] extreme case a discount. Besides the service in general was so-so and the breakfast table was not worth getting exited about. "Next to D'Orleans Metro"
The hotel is located in the southern part of the city and does not seem very touristy. The metro stop is right outside the door of the hotel(under construction during or stay) or across the street The hotel rooms looked much bigger and better decorated on the website so there must be some nice rooms at the hotel, we got a very small room with a very […] small bath and to add to the fun, the elevator did not work during our stay on the sixth floor. They did give us a free breakfast for two days of our stay to make up for the elevator not working. The hotel says the are trilingual and that is true for some of the front desk staff, but not for all. In the US, this would be a very clean, nice 2 star hotel. Mehr

My wife, adn two children ( 18 and 15) found this place on line. We read the reviews and they were satisfactory. This place is mych better than satisfactory. We asked lots of questions and received good replies at teh concierge; and we worked with three different people. The hotel was literally right outside the subway stop; not sure how someone wrote […] it was 6 minutes away. There are many restaurants, including Subway ( for those who need it) french restaurants 9 always had breakfast at restaurant just around corner for crepes. There was a bakery just outside as well. Subway was conveniently located. The price was awesome cinsduerung location; had no problems paying. There was free wifi in the hotel. Most hotels were small and the only downside was the elevator can only hold three people...without luggage. Europe is small so we went with the flow, no problems. We had two double beds, we faced the street, it was room and not noisy. Great place to stay...you gotta love pink though as everything is pinl- kind of cute actually! Mehr
Its considered good as it is very near to halal restaurant, convenient stores and tube station. However, it has a kind of weird decoration in certain rooms (too gloomy perhaps). Also, too noisy due to footsteps stomping the floor or stairs. It can be heard clearly from inside the room and a bit disturbing. "Convenient, Inexpensive though internet challenge"
Have stayed there 4 times and great location, good sized rooms and clean with a funky design. Location next to Metro is VERY convenient. Internet last time was a problem for establishing a strong connecting. For casual browsing is not a problem though had to go to lobby to make skype calls. "Near metro-hotel"
The elevator was out of order during my visit so I had to use the stairs instead. This disadvantage (not a big problem for me) was balanced by the very helpful and nice personell and a optimized high quality breakfast.
The hotel was clean and confortable. Unfortunately, only people next door were a bit noisy. However, it was a good experience.

Never mind, the beds were comfy, the wifi was free and the location next to a metro station is good. However Porte d'Orléans is not the hotspot of action, but it was easy to get to the nice areas of Montparnasse, etc. Metro to Marais […] took roughly 20 minutes and to Montmartre or other touristic places a bit longer. "Nice experience but not for everybody"
Basically I had a really good time here,I like the room decorations and hotel design, and considering the price I paid, it's very spacious for me. However it would be better if they could do more effert on room cleaning and hotel manegement. I don't this is a really good hotel that would suit everybody's expectation. Sometimes the elevator was too busy […] you would have to walk the stairs(coz they only got a small one for the whole building), and sometimes the construction noises just annoying. I guess you would have to have enough luck to have a good time here. The surrounding neighborhood is quite good, and close to metro is a plus. Staffs are all friendly. Mehr

When I arrived, before check in time, I asked if I could check my luggage until check in. They pointed to the 2nd floor , 1st floor in Paris, and told me that I could put me bags in the firts room on the left.The room was not looked nor attended.
