What you pay is what you get. Dank unserem Navi haben wir das Hotel schnell gefunden. Es lieget direkt an der Interstate. Wir kamen spät an und fuhren wieder früh ab. Parkplatz ist frei und vorhanden, Frühstück typisch amerikanisch. Zimmer war OK aber man hört die Interstate. Für eine Nacht ist es OK.

Wir haben das Hotel Hampton Inn in Schenectady als Stopp zwischen den Niagara Fällen und Boston gewählt. Es ist ruhig gelegen, hat sehr gepflegte, saubere Zimmer, einen schönen gemütlichen und großen Frühstücksraum mit einem für amerikanische Verhältnisse guten Frühstück mit u.a. Rührei und Speck und sogar frischem Obstsalat. Auch der Fitnessraum sah sehr gepflegt aus, ist aber klein. Das Schwimmbad ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ganz in der Nähe ist ein Kino und auch ein Subway. Alles in allem ein absolut gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und sehr zu empfehlen.

Convenient location to Albany. My breakfast was not specatular like previous reviewers, but maybe I missed something. Bathroom needed some updating, but overall clean, fair price, staff was accomodating, and good location.
Hotel is very comfortable, clean and convenient to the Empire State Plaza. Breakfast is very good and well staffed.

"NO workout area"
In this day and age to not have a work out area at the hotel is unacceptable. No one wants to drive down the road to a gym, change clothes, work out, change clothes drive back to the hotel all, after you have checked in and are tired. Then to do it all over again to go get something to eat.

Perfectly good generic business-travel-type hotel, maybe a little pricey if you're paying your own way, but clean and well kept. "Best Continental Breakfast"
This hotel had everything we expected. It was very comfortable, and clean. Only 10 minutes away from Albany if you wanted to shop. The hotel pool was great! This was our 6th and last night of our family vacation, and by far, this was also the best breakfast of all. This hotel was the best, superior staff, excellent location; cracker barrell walking distance. great proximity to the Times Union Center and the highway and the restaurants. Perfect! Nice Decor, great breakfast. Highly Reccommend!

"Room next to the elevator"
Room was right next to the elevator on the 4th floor. I didn't hear the elevator opening and closing at all during all three nights I stayed there. I was really impressed by that. Good location, decent price and friendly staff.

"Fairfield Marriot in East Greenbush, NY"
Everything was fine but it was hard to see it from the road and the driveway didn't seem to be for the actual hotel. They need more signage and the word "entrance" at the driveway would be helpful. My GPS said we were there about 200 yards before the actual driveway.

"Pleasant Stay"
We only stayed on one night but the staff was very pleasant, gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant, Chez Mike. Breakfast the next morning was much more than the average continetal breakfast. . . . nothing fancy, but very good.

"Not what I expected from a Marriott hotel"
My stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott East Greenbush was acceptable, but I did expect more. The grout between the tiles on the bathroom floor could seriously use some bleach. The room was a little small, but not too small to be uncomfortable. The staff were very pleasant, and helpful. The rate was good, and the continental breakfast was good. "great stay"
I stayed for three nights whilt taking the NY bar exam. The hotel was quiet and clean and they called a cab for me (on time) every day. There were cookies and coffee always available and the continental breakfast was a life saver. I'd definitely stay there again.

"A great hotel just off of I-90"
We decided to stay in East Greenbush as a stop between Connecticut and Rochester and the Fairfield Inn was a welcome sight when we made it there after a long day of winter weather travel! We were welcomed and check-in was efficient. The room was standard, but clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast had some hot items (eggs, sausage, oatmeal) and was perfectly […] adequate. The staff were very pleasant and willing to help. There is a Denny's right next door that we did not go to, but that was a hit with the sports team that was there at the same time we were. "Very comfortable for the price"
We had a lovely stay at the Fairfield Inn, rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The mattress was a little more firm then I like but it was definitely a great stay. The signage as we approached the hotel was difficult to see...you are supposed to pull into a bank parking lot and then drive to the left, but it's very poorly marked. Once we found the hotel, though, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The clerk at the desk was able to recommend a good restaurant and give clear directions as well. Hotels in and around Albany, NY, tend to be of poor quality, expensive, or both poor quality and expensive. When we stayed there in July, 2010, the Fairfield Inn in East Greenbush was more reasonably priced, with pleasantly furnished rooms and a helpful and friendly staff. East Greenbush is on the other side of the Hudson River from Albany, but it's […] just a 10 minute drive on I-90 to downtown, the state offices or the SUNY campus. "a pleasant experience"
Management very pleasant and accommodating. Need to exert noise control over younger guests at least after 10 PM. A bus load of noisy soccer players ( early teens) were running up and down our hall way til around 11 PM. Breakfast was great. The person in charge was very friendly, greeted every one in a warm manner. Coffee was perfect.
