The stay was more than I could ask for. The hotel services were great. The first room that was given to me was flooding in the rest room and I was quickly changed into another room. The next room was a little smaller but had the same concept. I had the hotel run a few errands for me and the staff was not used to money tips which I thought was odd. extremely fun place to stay especially for young couple

Great hotel! Went out for spring break with a few friends and had a blast..hotel was very dark but modern and Perfect for the younger crowd..saw a few celebrities and the bazar by jose andreas was a delight!

Luxurious pool, beautifully designed rooms, wonderful service. This hotel has it all in spades.

Amazing design with lots of glossy chrome, glass, lucite, and mirror. The restaurant is definitely a place to be among the cool and famous. The rooms have mirrored walls and chrome bed frames with glass headboards. It looks like they forgot to allow for the extra housekeping. Was really excited to stay here, as I've passed by quite often when in LA and it looks gorgeous from the street. The hotel didn't disappoint--it was quirky and cool, with many luxurious touches. Also, it didn't have a light for sitting outside in the evening. We have stayed at a number of the 5 star hotels in Beverly Hills, and tried the SLS for the first time. It was disappointing in terms of room offerings, pool facility (smaller, no hot tub), limited room service menu, speed of service.

I couldn't have enjoyed my stay more. The service was top notch, the room clean and beautiful and the pool was awesome. My only complaint....luggage rack...I need a luggage rack in my room! :)

We stayed for one night and it was an interesting experience. The hotel is very high art, but I just didn't get it. The walls in the room and bathroom were all mirrors. You couldn't go to many places in the room without look at yourself. The beds were very low, Japanese style beds. The room was dark, even with the lights on and most of the furniture […] was non-functional. There was a very sharp shelf on the headboard that was strange and a little scary. I get the vibe the hotel is going for, it just wasn't my taste. They do have a lovely outdoor lounge area when you first pull up and there are tons of restaruants within walking distance. Mehr

If you like to stay in a room so dark it is difficult to find the shower, this is your hotel! Prefer your room is dresser free? Roof top looks tired and needs refreshing. Otherwise great hotel with chic lobby design and a trendy crowd...

The hotel is little bit dark m the reception service is not so good and the room service is to sloe and vry unreasonable the quality of food is good but it is very little quantity I was impressed tough from the concierge they were very good and helpful.

Definitely a 5 start hotel. I didn't want to leave. Everything was top notch. Hope to stay there again the next time I'm in LA.

If you are likely to want to spend any part of the day pool side, make it very early or late because this pool is standing room only after 10:00 am. Also, be forewarned the menu of the hotel is somewhat limited so if you like to eat pool side and have a little late night room service and/or visit the hotel restaurant, know that you will be facing the […] same menu in all three locations. Everything was great. Clean, beds were very comfortable. Has an 'edge' to the hotel which was nice. Only complaint I have is that the mirrors are darken so it is hard to see yourself while you put on makeup. I found out later that if you ask they will bring a lighted mirror up to you.

Stayed here in a suite 2 days. As expected, the emphasis was on glitz and style. The lobby is half outside and features funhouse-style mirrors with green light. The roof pool and surroundings is somewhat like a Salvador Dali painting. Room decor is Beverly Hills modern (though the property is actually in Los Angeles). Room service was $38 for a continental breakfast with unannounced service fees. Guests are forced to use valet parking for $36/night. We had a great time, service was impecable.The staff could not do enough, Loveley outdoor pool area, fantastic restarauant. Room design was novel interesting and comfortable, fabulous bathrooms, entertainment behind glass screens. If you are going to Beverley Hills - why go anywhere lese ?

All I can say is that this hotel is just AMAZING. The food is great, service is great, everything is just perfect. A must stay hotel in Beverly Hills.

The rtooms where very dark and gloomy. Not enough light in room, couldn't find things in my suitcase. Room was small compared to other hotels in the same price range. Pool was crowded and you had to wait to get a place to sit. Pool people rude.

The rooms are small and dark. We have stayed there many times because of the convenient location. The last stay, our shower had major flooding issues, that was evident in the rotting and deterioration of the grout and slab. With the hotel barely being one year old, I was surprised that they would put guests in a room with a shower that needs obvious […] maintenance. We went to the lounge bar area to have a drink at 6:00PM, with no one at the hostess stand, we sat ourselves at a table. The hostess then came over and told us we couldn't sit there because it had an 8:00PM reservation. In disbelief, we informed her that we were guest at the hotel, so she said we could stay as long as we were done before 8:00PM. As you can imagine at 6:00PM, the lounge was empty. She made sure to come by at 7:00 and give us a time check. The management definitely needs to give attention to the staff if they want to maintain there 4-5 star rating. Very innovative and interesting decor! Shower difficult to turn on without getting soaked with cold water. Would prefer coffee maker in room. Staff very competent, friendly, and welcoming!

although quite the hip scene - the hipness did not get in the way of comfort. Guest rooms were a good size (not the size of closets like many of the new hotels)and nice amenities. Spa and restaurants(s) were absolutely fantastic - dinner in Rouge was one of the best i've had all year. Would absolutely recommend.

Don't get me wrong. This place is cool, but eclectic to the max. Glass & steel and alot of sharp corners. If you're looking for a couch to cuddle up on, forget this place. The room is just a little too much for me. Love the location and the food was great.

I missed my flight because they forgot to give me a wake up all. That looks slightly unprofessional and irresponsible

A super trendy hotel with amazing service. The pool/club "altitude" is just the best place to enjoy a few Hrs. The Restrauant "Bizzare" which is attached, is a very unusual dining experience, however you have got to give it try. The have a car service complimentary that is awesome and the employees were so helpful and friendly it was easily approaching […] 4 seasons quality service. This is the most amazing hotel design and decor I've ever seen. This is the best work Philippe Starck has ever done. I am definitely coming back. The restaurant, Bazaar, is a total experience for all the senses. Bravo! This was a bold move by SBE, but well worth it.

I absolutely loved staying at the SLS! The staff is very efficient and kind, the interior design is beautiful and the food is amazing! The location is very convenient for someone like me, who was travelling on leisure with my sister. The breakfast at Tres restaurant is absolutely delicious, the furniture and chandeliers are so beautiful and tasteful. The […] only negative thing I would say is that the room wasn't as clean as I would've liked it to be. I ordered room service one evening and the bread crumbs were still on the sofa and on the floor the next day. Hotellet ligger bra til i forhold til Beverly Hills og Hollywood, men ikke spesielt spennende omgivelser. Veldig god frokost. Spiste ikke andre måltider. Reiste med to barn på 7 og 11. Hotellet er ikke spesielt barnevennlig men de hadde det bra. En trendy bar og restaurant i 1. etg. som det så ut som om det var mange pyntede gjester på hver kveld.
