Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück kann auf einer Terasse an der Av. Atlantica (Copacabana) eigenommen werden. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber ausreichend.

Great hotel ambiance, nice service for the most part (front desk sometimes seemed annoyed) and great breakfast. But the room I stayed in was very small and the walls seemed unfinished...like they were temporary walls. Only a huge problem if you are planning on spending most of your time indoors... which you should not since you are a few feet away form […] Copacabana beach! Mehr

My wife and I had visited the Hotel last week and we are very pleased with it, People that work there for can only have a 100% , very helpful, kind . I will recomend this hotel to my sisters that is on the way to lovely Rio. Tulipin keep doing your job, you are doing just FINE!!!

Hotel is well located, common areas looks great, but rooms are outdated.

Expensive for what it has to offer, but so are other hotels in Rio. Rooms are small and not that nice, but OK. Good breakfast. Great location.

The location is right at the beach in Copa - so if you like Copa and want to spend most of your time at the beach, this is definately a good choiche. The rooms are quite small but clean, the AC works and the wifi connection works fine too (and if it doesnt, there´s quite an advanced helpdesk ready to assist you on the phone). The only reason to stay here is the location. It was quite expensive and apart from the fact that we got the rooms 5 hours early, the service was on the low side. For new years eve; the location is close to perfect.

Terrible experience we got there and there was used towels all over the floor. We requested two double beds but it was a queen bed only. Elevator very small. If you want to stay in a hostel for the price of a hotel than this is the place. Rooms were tiny. The manager would never make herself available to us when requested (her name daisy). She said […] se can only talk on the phone and ten hung up on me. We ended swallowing 100% of the bill and moving to a different hotel. I would reccomend Windsor Atlantica for the same price and you get amazing service and amenities. Mehr

The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Copacabana beach. If you are interested in areas other than Copacabana and have a gimp who can't walk long distances, or if you are chubby and are too lazy to walk a lot then you should find a more centrally located hotel or make sure you have enough for paying taxis. One room was renovated and modern, the other room had not been renovated and was a little dated. Way too expensiv for a room with no beach view, very small room, found critters in bathroom

This is a neat, clean hotel in a great location right on Copacabana beach. The hotel restaurant is "acceptable" no better, clean and tidy but the food and service are only average. Standard rooms are "European Style", ie very "compact" and basic. Don't plan on spending any time working or hanging out in the room. Internet access (wireless) was good […] not great. Mehr

Do not stay at this hotel. All standard rooms (80% of the rooms) have a view of a tiny, smelly alley. Windows aren't sound proof --try and sleep this way. Personnel is rude and uncooperative. We stayed at the 11th floor, while the ENTIRE 10th floor was being rebuilt: this was no vacation, we were trapped in a major construction site. Was quite pleased with this hotel that I booked in short notice. Staff were very polite and helpful and the room were not bad either. Breakfast was also decent, although there were only two hot options available every morning. The tours they offer are very overpriced however and you should definitely try and arrange one on your own through a local agent […] if you wish to save money. Mehr

Rooms are dated, bath rooms need an upgrade. Great location, friendly staff!!!

I arrived very early and a few hours before check-in because of an early flight arrival. Felt physically quite unwell and requested early check-in which after some initial delay staff allowed me to do. Requested reception staff to call a doctor which they did in a very efficient manner. Room they allocated though was very basic and not at all what was […] expected or how it was portrayed on websites. It was small, looked tired and in urgent need of a revamp. Later in the day I requested an upgrade to a room with a sea view and paid an upgrade fee which seemed reasonable. The room had more space, a lovely sea view, but again, really can do with a make-over. The lobby, lounge and reception areas are modern and comfortable and stand in sharp contrast with the room facilities. Breakfast is good with a good selection of fresh fruit. Hot breakfast rather sparse with two items only. Coffee and tea included, but espresso or other types of coffee need to be ordered and get charged to your room! Very good location but not sure if the hotel facilities and the state of the rooms (worn down and tired-looking) justifies the rate. Will try another hotel on my next rip to Rio. Mehr

The Hotel is located directly on Avenida Atlantica with view to the ocean and over the beach of copacabana. The bar and restaurant are nice and the service is very prompt and friendly. Giving the location of the hotel there is a lot in walking distance or easiely accessable by a short taxi ride. Copacabana, Ipanema, Botafogo beaches, the Sugarloaf, […] Corcovado with the Christ statue on top, Tijuca Forrest, are all must-see attractions. Mehr

The room was a little dated. This is a great value for the money I think. We had a few minor problems but the staff was very quick to resolve the issuse we had. We did not take any of the tours offered by the Hotel but if you go 1/2 block north you will find an excellent tour office. They made some great recomendations. Sugar Loaf is the most amazing […] sight. We spent about 3 hours up there. Christ the redemmer got very very very crowded. Next time I will be the first in line. Could not even take some good pictures up there, to many people. Mehr

The hotel was quite adequate; room was very clean, albeit very small. The lobby was very attractive, and best of all, the breakfast was really great: many offerings, good service, and good food. We liked the location of the hotel very much.

Great Hotel - awesome location, with very helpful staff. Right opposite Copacabana beach - didnt get a beach front view room, but did have a bulcony that looks out on the side to the ocean. The first night that we were in Rio, we had registered on line for another hotel, which was very bad. While at that hotel we cancelled our reservation and made a new arrangement through hotels.com for the Tulip Inn, Copacabana. Great hotel, single beds are quite smaller than a twin size but comfortable enough for one person, walking distance to the beach, you can hire a taxi walking around the corner (2 minutes walk) same thing with an internet cafe that cost about 2 dollars an hour. Try to take advantage of the great variety of fruits included in breakfast. Restaurants close […] to the hotel are a little bit expensive however if you walk a couple of blocks into the city you will save 50% specially if you go for sandwich and a fruit juice. Metro station is at walking distance (about 6 blocks) great service, don't miss Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Le Blon Mall and Lapa. Lapa is great on Fridays and Saturdays, great brazilian ambiance, lots of samba and pagode, great drinks, $100.00 per couple will be enough to have a great time. Mehr

This would be at least a 3-star in the US. Awesome location that looks directly out to Copacabana Beach. Ipanema was the more happening beach with a younger crowd, but by 1pm, BOTH were packed. Quick cab ride to Lapa for a night on the town from here too. Hotel was VERY clean and comfortable. Worth the price for Rio without a doubt. Our stay included […] breakfast, very handy after a night out in Lapa. As usual with any hotel, watch the mini-bar and prices. The Tulip Inn Copacabana is a great hotel, very clean, employees are very helpful and kind. The only minor issue is their internet service and the small elevators but besides that everything is great.

Although I knew this hotel was right opposite Copacabana beach and that that was where I wanted to be, I was a little worried about it after it had been booked because I had found it in a hurry and then looked back to see it was only 2 and a half stars but upon arrival I liked the place so much I thought we might be at the wrong Tulip hotel (there are […] a few in the area - Golden Tulip, Tulip Inn, Tulip hotel etc..always ask taxi drivers for the Marriot next door to avoid confusion). The entrance was quite grand with a big oak door and a doorman, the breakfast area is really nice with a view out to Copacabana beach, and there are little chill out rooms to the right, which feel quite glamorous. The room was also fine - the bed really comfy, the shower strong and plenty of space. The hotel staff were really nice and helpful - they can lend you towels for the beach, at the time I was there this was for no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to friends and would return there myself should the opportunity arise. Mehr

Although its in a great location, the price is high for the size of the room. I have stayed in many rooms in Rio and the standards do not seem to match N American in many hotels...a 3 star is a 2 star, a 4 star is really a 3 star...etc. But you cant go wrong with the location...perfectly situated for the uninitiated to Rio.

Excelente atendimento e instalacoes. Vou muito ao RJ para negocisos, mas foi a minha primeira vez neste hotel e certamente irei voltar

Hotel muito bem localizado, com instalações novas, o quarto é pequeno; de um mode geral fiquei muito satisfeito com todos os serviços.

Prós-Localização ótima; restaurante 24hs; quarto confortável. Contras-O primeiro andar tem cheiro forte de mofo. Liguei p/ o hotel duas vezes no intervalo de 1 semana p/ confirmar a reserva e disseram que o sistema não estava funcionando. durante 1 semana???

O quarto luxo deveria incluir uma banheira e nao há piscina no hotel.

Otima localização, quartos novos sendo reformados, porem corredores com muito cheiro de Môfo. Mas recomendo hotel !!! cliente nao se arrepenerá.

O hotel necessita de reformas urgente. O serviço de limpeza é péssimo, quartos empoeirados e banheiros sujos. Quartos e banheiros velhos e encardidos. Péssimo nível para um hotel de frente para Copacabana. Salva-se somente o térreo e o restaurante.

O Tulip Inn teve um problema de vazamento nos quartos e imediatamente ao Check in nos transferiram para outra unidade: o TULIP GOLDEN HOTEL, nos informando que seria um up grade, pois este seria um 4 estrelas. Foi tudo decepcionante! Os quartos muito velhos, secador de cabelo queimado, os colchões péssimos (com buracos), pedimos por diversas vezes para […] mudarem os colchões, e simplesmente ignoraram as solicitações. O serviço é atencioso, porem demorado! Alem disso, esquecemos um pertence no Hotel, e tentamos contato para reaver. Ninguem conseguiu nos atender. Não ficaria novamente, e não recomendo. Para um hotel desta categoria, falta muito cuidado. Mehr

Foi feita uma reforma apenas ao nível de réz do chão/lobby e deveria ser feita também nos quartos. O hotel não corresponde á sua classificação nem aos preços praticados!!!

when you arrive to the hotel and look at the lobby and restaurant you cannnot imagine what you will find when you arrive to the room. First to say is that the room is extremly dirty. You can get your fingers black of dust after touching whatever in the room. Internet connection is the worst I ve ever used in a hotel even if you pay for it. Bien situé sur l'Avenida Atlantica Accueil et reception de bonne qualité Chambre viellote, récupérée par des panneaux muraux de mauvaise qualité, vieux marbres dans la salle de bains, La rénovation (récupération) de l'hôtel a porté sur la recèption au rez de chaussée seulement et pas sur les logements. Trop cher

Alt var bra ved hotellet, vi fikk god service hele veien. Eneste som var negativt var at hotellrommet ikke var i nærheten av den standaren som er på bildene av rommene. Vårt rom var lite, og slitent. så jeg vil anbefale at man heller bruker litt ekstra på å booke et av rommene med havutsikt.
