the girl didnt list check in in the computer I went to the hotel about 10:30 the day of check in and the man told me they had my reservation and that no rooms were open yet.. told him I would be back later and got directions to the hospital..came back at 9 and the check in girl acted like didnt know if had my room...next am another employee said computer […] listed me as a no show. all this with having left my luggage at 1030 that am and the room being prepaid..wow what if they had rented it to someone else not good Mehr

The bathroom sink was backed up. Husband had to unclog it and it was Nasty! Bed was not comfortable! Train is right outside window. Look us up at 3:00am. Complained to hotel clerk on our way out about the sink as well as left a note for the maid. Clerk offered no apologies or compensation.

This hotel is right next to a train line exchange depot and it is noisy all night long. If you like a train horn all night long, stay here. If you want to rest and sleep, I do not recommend this property.

The location was great for all the restaurants around TCU. Clean, priced well...what else do you need!

Our bathroom was not updated nor maintained well. Bars loose from wall and rust stains and black mold. Breakfast was passable. Did not get a receipt under my door. You pay for being close to campus for not much. Next time I went to hyatt near hulen mall.....much better facilities for cheaper and still only minutes from campus with plenty of restaur […] ants. We stayed at the Fairfield because we were in the process of moving my daughter to college and the hotel was perfect and very convinent.

I've worked in hotels so I know when I've been put in a "good" room & the opposite. The room I stayed in at the Fairfield was the latter. I'll let you know the easiest way to determine what room you have been placed in. The towels, fluffy big you're good, skimpy small, scratchy, well then buddy, you've been had. Every hotel, motel, or Holiday Inn has […] both types of rooms so just be aware. The degree of which the contrasts differ is dependent on the of hotel caliber. I paid too much to have such a sucky room and the front desk clerk who worked the majority of the time had a pretty bogus attitude. I guess that's why I got a bad room to begin with... Mehr

We stay at this hotel frequently because we have family nearby whom we visit regularly. Our grandchildren love swimming in the indoor pool,which is maintained very well. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance and the location is near the interstate.

Great pool and breakfast. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Rooms quite small but reasonable adequate. Trains keep you up at night here. Overall Good hotel just need to improve the comfort level in the rooms.

This hotel is clean and the staff is friendly.It is close to many restaurants. The only complaint that we had was that even though we requested a morning wake up call, we never got it. It has an indoor pool which was clean and pleasant, however the jacuzzi was extremely hot (110 degrees) and even though they tried to fix it, it was still too hot.

Train blows horn all hours of the night!!way too close to hotel!

I was attending a Conference at the Convention Center. Good Location short drive. Good Restaurants across the street Haufbrau Steak House had some good values too. Hotel still was under renovaitons, but we were on the first floor close to an exit which was perfect, as we needed to escape quickly and get on the road for the conference. I had expected […] a more congested trip, but it was quite fast. Only one negative note, the refrigerator did not work, and it seemed that it leaked on the carpet as there was a damp spot there. I didn't have time to tell the desk about it as we were always late in returning and early out. Mehr

The hotel was under remodel. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the afternoon because of dust in the ducts. It was not what I expected for a Marriot.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn on University Ave. in Fort Worth in early August, 2009. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is undergoing major rennovations, so there's some construction dirt here & there. However, the staff was friendly and eager to please. We had a failure with our room air conditioner, and the maintenance man replaced it immediately. […] Also, the price was the best in the immediate area; I hope they maintain that distinctive! Mehr

The hotel was very difficult to find. You cannot see it from the street because it sits behind a restaurant. I thought the price was a little high, but was actually lower than two other nearby hotels. The clerk could not immediately find my reservation in the computer because it was listed with my last name as my first name and vice versa. Thankfully, […] he thought of switching my names and then he found the reservation. I'm not sure where the mistake was made that caused my name to be entered incorrectly. The first room given to me had definitely been smoked in, but I was given a different room upon request and without any hesitation. The breakfast was good.
