Großzügige Zimmer mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, geschmackvolle und zweckmäßige Einrichtung, toller Blick nach Süden auf die Skyline von Downtown, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar, hervorragendes Frühstücksbüffet, nettes Personal. The hotel decor was just was really nice. The rooms were nothing special.

I was in town to drive my daughter who is a student at GSU back to Louisiana for the summer. The hotel is very convenient to where I needed to drop my rental off at and to pick her up. We usually stay here whenever we vist her in Atlanta. Clean comfortable accomondations

Hotel was nice. Rooms could use a few repairs but for price not bad. Location is great. You can walk to any restaurant or venue. Only a block over to fox theater.

Will not stay here again. After booking 2 weeks early was put on 3rd floor above noisy ballroom level. Refridgerator didn't work. Tv probably from 1995, made annoying buzzing sound. Sports bar not open. Balcony with ugly walls and limited view. No in room wifi. Don't stay here.

The staff was very efficient the condition of the hotel was nice minus the bathroom needs a serious upgrade but view was fantastic food was wonderful. Hotel is definitely a one stop shop they even offer babysitting services. I will definitely stay here my next trip to atlanta. Location was wonderful as well.

This was the second attempt for wonderful visit to Atlanta. The last stay at this hotel was plagued with problems. The hotel offered to make it right with a free upgrade to the Concierge Floor with all of the amenities for this stay. This time we enjoyed the stay immensely. Hotel undergoing new management and property is still in transition. Significant upsides - personnel! All trained exceptionally well and made you feel welcome. From front desk, to bell staff, maintenance and housekeeping, everyone had a pleasant disposition. Downsides - room I was in was "pre-renovation" and it showed. Lower level floor which made passing […] ambulances and sirens a reality. TV was very dated and channel selection a challenge. In-room AC unit blew frigidly cold air directly on to the adjoining desk. Wi-fi internet, although free, was unreliable from room, needed to use lobby for consistent connection. Wz perfect to sit and watch the city skyline. Only our balcony was open to the nxt door one. The morning omlet was made in front of us. Trip was nice. Thnks Hotels.com.

hotel was pretty good..but valet parking ($28/ day) or self park ($15- chg echo time lve & enter). The breakfast was okay. The bed was good. Loved the balcony! Shower was dirty

Service was very friendly and helpful. It appears the commons areas have been remodeled and the rooms still need some fine tuning.

I had 2 rooms for 4 adults. Nice hotel, good restaurant downstairs. The gym is weak with almost nothing to use. The parking cost extra and its a lot! The room is nice and its easy to use the subway. I would stay there again.

Everything was ok except the TV had no remote the balcony door would hardly open or close and the iron would not hold water.

Loved the balcony in our room!!

Love it was on the 18 floor great view...

Location was great in the heart of Midtown and Downtown. Can take quick taxi to bars/restaurants around you. Rooftop pool has incredible view and really big. Rooms are good and spacious with comfy beds and balcony def. a plus, and Price of Room is great in comparison to what you are getting. Go early for the breakfast buffet...it's okay, but free food […] is good! Mehr

We booked early so to assure a king bed for a celebration weekend. The hotel overbooked and we did not get the room we paid for online. They called it a house keeping issue, but "resolved" themselves by giving us the free complementary breakfast already included in our reservation.

The room looked nothing like the picture, room wasn't ready on time. Very outdated. Didn't have a flat-screen TV. The only updates to the room were of the bathroom, it was very nice and had brand new, modern Kohler appliances. Things that were mentioned but not there: cd player, bathrobes, bathroom phone, makeup/shaving mirror (unless that's just a […] fancy way of saying bathroom mirror), electronic check out, windows that open, extra towels & bedding. Not like it mattered not having these, but when I pay for something that lists all of this stuff, I expect to get ALL of this stuff. The view was spectacular, make sure you get a room on the Linden Ave. side! And if I knew I was going to have to pay $15 a day fr parking, I would have stayed somewhere much nicer for the extra $30. Beds are extremely hard. Other than that the hotel was pretty nice.

will not stay again......old TV's. uncomfortable beds...

Excellent. A very nice hotel for a reasonable price. Close to the Marta station- only had to change trains once to arrive close to Turner Field. A little bit of a walk but not bad. If you are attending a Georgia Tech football game or going to the Fox, Melia is THE place to stay. Good breakfast. Valet staff very friendly and accommodating.

The lobby is very nice but the room was far from the best.

My stay was ok but the room could have been better.people were nice but room was not at all what I expected.toilet was running bed was hard carpet and tv was old.I didn't wanna walk in the bathroom without my socks or house shoes because of the floor.just not what i expected.I came from Chicago Il to come stay at your hotel.I didn't wanna complain because […] i was on vacation.hopefully you read this and can make some changes.not satisfied at all.thanks Mehr

When we arrived to the Melia the room that we booked looked nothing like the pictures online. It was dark and smelly with an extremely old TV. Only after my boyfriend went to the front desk and complained and paid a $50 upcharge we we put in a room that looked like what we thought we were getting in the first place. We paid cash to valet park and now […] I am having to dispute a valet charge on my credit card. I will never stay here again. Mehr

The Hotel itself is gorgeous. The lobby ambiance was really warm and inviting. Our actual room was a little dated but we loved the attached balcony and views. The staff, SUPERB! Sandy upgraded us just because we waited a few extra minutes to check in. Another staff member held the elevator for us even after he got off and was already a significant distance […] away. When I booked the hotel Hotel.com said breakfast was included. When I asked about breakfast on arrival I was told their was a continental breakfast but it wasn't complimentary and would require an additional fee. When going to bed the adjoined room was being incredibly loud and I kept getting a whiff of pot from under the door. I called the front desk […] to ask to be moved to a different room. They did move me to a nicer room (same set-up/price point) which was nice, but why did they put me in a room that was adjoined to other room in the first place when other nicer rooms were available. Also the beds were awful. They had no support. I would have enjoyed my stay at a buget hotel more, the beds are definitely more comfortable and they at least have complementary coffee in the morning. We chose this hotel for ease of reaching Turner Field. The MARTA station is very close by and only required one train change. If you are planning on attending a Georgia Tech football game, this is the place to stay. Not a bad walk at all AND you you have to walk right by the Varsity so a meal at that landmark is very convenient.

Nothing was horrible but nothing was really that good. The images and website sort of led you to believe it is a nice place. If you're looking for a decent place to lay your head that is pretty close to all the tourist stuff than this will definitely do the trick. The lobby is beautiful and the structure of the hotel is nice but it just needs a bit […] of an update. Pros: Has balcony Awesome Lobby/Bar area Comfortable comforters Free Wifi Nice shampoo/soap samples Cons: Mattresses feel a tad firm and lumpy TV is a 30" analog from the early 90's (Small Flat screens really aren't that pricey these days and upgrade is overdue) TV channels are limited (CNN wasn't an option- which I thought was weird) Room wasn't that clean (some hair in tub) Housekeeping tried to open our door after a brief knock at 9am- they hadn't checked to see if we had checked out or not. At first glance, I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is newly decorated and the staff is very kind and helpful. However, the rooms are quite simple and in my particluar room, they forgot to include toilet paper, kleenex, hand soap or enough towels (1 set only) for a 2 night stay. When I called housekeeping that evening, no one answered. So, I finally […] contacted the front desk (on 3 separate occassions) to get the needed items to my room. Further, (and while this may be asking for too much), the one phone in the room did not have a speaker phone option, there was no ipod port or CD player, no wall decoration (or color for that matter), no extra blankets and the heating/air condition unit was loud and old. What I cannot stress enough is the hotel staff. They were all polite and did try to help as much as possible...its not their fault for poor management!! Speaking of which, each time I walked past the reception area, there was only ever 1 person behind the desk and always a few people in line. In my opinion, the hotel is a work in progress.....with much needed updates and refinements in management process. Mehr

Customer service was horrible! Valet over charged me by adding a vehicle to my room that didnt belong. Room was not properly cleaned when I arrived and I was over charged for an upgrad that should have been free with my MAS rewards membership. I wouldn't stay here again unless the room was comped and a suite. Not worth the money they charge for the […] "upgraded" rooms. The buffet wasn't good either. Mehr

During our stay at the Melia we particularly enjoyed the better than average buffet breakfast that was included in our room rate. The rooms are bigger than usual, the beds quite comfy and the rooms have balconies. Downsides are the sink's location outside the bathroom (which some may prefer), somewhat dated room decor, with cathode-ray, not flat screen, […] TVs. Since it's right beside I75-85 there is a constant drone of traffic noise. Mehr

We stayed at the hotel because it advertises an ultra modern rooftop bar, it was closed for the "winter", the room left much to be desired, had to Constantly contact staff about getting towels, room was dirty and balcony full of cigarette butts. The complimentary breakfast buffet also left much to be desired. No one was present to make the omlettes, […] food was cold and buffet area unkempt. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Mehr

We spent three nights at the Melia Atlanta. We received excellent service with all requests met promptly. I read on this site that the hotel will soon receive renovations which are needed. Our room was cleaned to acceptable standards, but the worn carpet and upholstry gave it a slight ick factor. Housekeeping cleaned each day very well. We were only […] on the 5th floor so sirens and very loud motorcycles were an issue with noise at night. The breakfast that was included was ok and had a decent vartiety. Service in the restaurant was good as well. Overall I was pleased with everything aside from the worn conditions. Mehr

the worst thing was line up of chain of car in the main street and entry of hotel,vale charge you almost $30,there was no fridge or microwave in the king size room! there was only one guy in front desk to assist gust to check in or out,that makes another line up inside! It was lovely and everyone was so helpful.

For the price I expected much better. The lobby was awesome but the room was tiny for a "suite". The place seemed really old once you got to the room level. And the walls were paper thin. We heard sirens and traffic all night. We missed the breakfast because we were just ready to leave by morning. No fridge. No microwave. Ice was on a separate floor. […] Elevators were super slow.
