Was very comfortable & clean. Is an older hotel, but still well maintained. A water pipe was broken in front of the hotel in the morning while husband was in shower. Water was abruptly shut off. Hotel could have called the room & told us & offered an apology--no one said anything. Also, we were to receive a free newspaper in the morning, but it still […] was not there at 10 in the morning. Good breakfast. Will probably stay again sometime & hope the same problems do not occur. Mehr

The stay would have been excellent if when the room was made up and cleaned they emptied and tossed the used paper coffee cups and replaced the coffee for the next day. I will stay again and recommend this property .

If you're looking for a hotel in Yuma, 16th St. and I-8 has a bunch of them. There are also a lot of good places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. This Shilo was a bit older than some, but it was in good shape and very clean. The pool is huge, warm, and open later - as is the hot tub. Great place to stay. Room was clean and had both refrig and micro. Hotel was clean and grounds were well maintained. Friendly staff, good rates. Only problem I had was that I had a reaction from the soap or chemicals used to sanitize the sheets. But that's ok. I'm sensitive. I'd rather they made sure they were clean! It was a great stay.

Very comfortable. All the amenities are very nice - breakfast room, office,exercise room, pool, laundry. Everything I needed in the room except shower cap and lotion. I will know next time to bring my own. My trip was for dental care - neither leisure or business.

We were super impressed! Our room had patio doors facing the pool. The pool and hot tub were large and well maintained. Our room was sonderful - large and roomy. The breakfast was good. We thought this place was fantastic overall. Our stay here was the highlight of our holiday. We would definitely stay here again!

Was covenient, would probably try another hotel if we are in the area again.

Its a little dated, but its good enough for a night or two. Really close to food and entertainment. I was able to walk to dinner and a movie.

My room key quit working every time I left the room! The front desk people were very nice and helped me with my luggage but it was inconvenient.

!st time staying at this hotel - primary reasons being location and cost as we were going to Algoodones for dental work. The grounds are beautifully maintained and having a balcony that overlooks the courtyard/pool is a bonus. Negatives: carpets could use a cleaning, bedding (bedspread) cld be updated as well as the bathroom wall covering. And - there […] is no program menu with the TV - just a listing of the stations but nothing regarding program names, etc. What a hoot that was. Needs up keep, but wee will stay their again

room was clean and quiet, people were friendly, pool and spa were big and clean, pretty courtyard. there was no bar or resturant as advertised. close to a lot of eateries. breakfast was ok, will stay there again. mesa az

Nice property, easy access from interstate, 4th floor rooms need to be updated - beds are the same one we slept on 17 yrs ago (I think). Beautiful HEATED pool.

The hotel was priced right for the condition. Could upgrade or replace carpets, was not great condition in our room. The bed was rock hard, would think it has passed it life of good sleeps. We were so happy with the accomadations.The front desk personnel were very gracious.THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WERE THE KEYS TO ENTER ROOMS AND HOTEL.ALSO TV WAS SHOWTIME NOT ALOT OF CHOICES. Nicely located in Yuma. Room clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

There was no lotion (for dry skin) and conditioner provided in the room. On request, the hotel did not have anything on hand or stock.

I had to spend the night in Yuma recently and chose the Shilo Inn, because I was using Hotels.com and it was available through them. The staff was most friendly and helpful when we arrived. The hotel is lovely, great lobby, spectacular pool area, good complimentary breakfast, free wifi and the usual things you expect from a hotel. The beds were extremely […] comfortable and the rooms quite large. It is much better than I expected for a medium priced hotel. The carpeting is in need of being stretched, but other than that we found it to be surprisingly good especially for the rates they charge. I would stay there again when I am in Yuma. Mehr

We often go to Algodones for medical reasons. Have not stayed at this hotel before but definitely will from now on. It's right on the 8, surrounded by great shopping and restaurants. What more could you want? The hotel and staff were great.

This is a nice hotel for the money. Hotel staff was responsive when a neighbooring room was too loud late at night and quickly resolved the problem. The continental breakfast was adequate for our needs.

The pool was perfect! The pool is very large. The pool area was clean and there was plenty of lawn chairs. The pool was heated, yet very refreshing. The rooms needed some maintenance, the carpets were a lil dirty. The air conditioner had a bad odor and the shower head was terrible upon our arrival. I spoke to the front desk and they immediately had […] a maintenance person replace the air conditioning filter and shower head. I was very pleased with my stay. I assume the issues with the shower and AC were unnoticed by the housekeeping staff due to the fact that they are not usually inspected during regular room service. continental breakfast could have a few more items and more seating.

we enjoyed our stay the coffee room was great ,however we seemed to have a problem getting toilet tisue and kleenex overall it was good------thanks we would stay there again

I found this Hotel to be very accommodating, friendly as well as a very comfortable room. Very clean, non smoking rooms. Best continental Breakfast that I've had in a long time. Will definitely return and recommend.

Clean, average rooms, very quiet considering location. Could do with some cosmetic updates and plumbing issues, ie would have been nice to have a toilet that did not require 3-4 flushes to clear bowl.

Location right off the freeway & next to a large mall & Sam's Club, early check-in available, free breakfast

From check-in to check-out all very professionally done. The location was very convenient and accessible to all that we needed.We would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to others.

The bathroom had ants. Luckily they appeared to be pretty much contained to the bathroom area. The decor is old but in very good condition. Although they were booked they managed to upgrade me to a room with a balcony and facing the pool without me even asking. 5 minute walk to the mall and the movie theater and plenty of places to eat.

Good room, bed & breakfast. Wonderful hot tub. Close to good shopping.

This hotel is older (25years) but has adapted to the times by offering the Breakfast. We were not impressed with the prepackaged offerings but they did the best they could without the convenience of proper kitchen facilities. Lovely hotel with professional and courteous staff who go out of their way for guests. Rooms are conveniently designed with a large vanity/sink area that is separate from the bathroom, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, desk area with chair as well as a round table with two chairs. All this in a standard room with two queen beds. Very comfortable […] for two people. Heat/AC control is easy to understand and use. Room smelled clean and appeared clean. We had a very nice stay the hotel was clean, very large pool and hot tub, we would go there again.

We requested a quiet room, and that is what we were given. The front desk rep was 5 star. The room service was a bit lack luster as one female employee brought 2 new coffee cups to our room when requested and added she doesn't wash cups.. . We had to ask for additional coffee for our in room coffee pot. We had to ask for another wash cloth as there […] was only one. All items requested were brought promptly to room. The breakfast was a stale muffin...sausage was cold...but if you are driving your car you can head up the road for breakfast..Could not complain about the price of the hotel..Really enjoyed booking w/hotel.com...very pleasant and sharp person .. convenient location, clean, very comfortable king sized bed and free upgrade (included bar fridge and micro) ~ however we were bambozzeled into paying 10 bucks for a pool view. Probably a good thing as the highway was close at hand. The outdoor pool and hot tub were a lovely way to end a long day of travel.....cheers, elissa

Second visit to Yuma, second visit to Shilo Inn & Suites. It's just a nice place. Good room rates & great, soft, comfy beds. We took our two dogs this trip, paid the pet fee & all was good. As long as we have to visit Yuma, I plan to stay at Shilo.

The location of this hotel is wonderful ; close to shopping, movies, dining. Hotel staff were very accomodating. Hotel is older; however the bed was quite comfortable. It was a good buy.
