CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort-Orlando - Orlando

Das Zimmer war ok. Der Wasserpark (obligatorische Ressortgebühr) ist mehr was für kleinere Kinder. Hotelrestaurant hat Imbiss Charakter. Das Steakhaus direkt neben an war gut. Shuttleservice nach Universal problemlos. Lage des Hotels schön zentral. Genug Parkplätze.

Unser Kind war leider zu klein, um die Badelandschaft nutzen zu können. Diese ist wirklich gingantisch. Auch das Frühstück war gut: ein sehr reichhaltiges, amerikanisches Buffet. Um das Hotel herum gibt es viele Restaurants und auch das Konferenzcenter ist in der Nähe. (Empfehlen können wir vor allem einen Brasilianer den International Drive etwas […] weiter runter, rechts und direkt neben einem großen Sportgeschäft. Dort kann man für ca. 15 Dollar vom Buffet essen, soviel man will (Salate, Obst...) inkl. 4 Sorten Fleisch. Die Steaks sind traumhaft! Sehr brauchbar, wenn einem das Fastfood zu den Ohren rausquillt.) Mehr

Sehr unangenehme Ambiente zum Essen.

Waren für 5 Nächte in Orlando und hatten uns für das CoCo Key entschieden. Haben es nicht bereut. Das Hotel liegt am Universal Drive und in etwa 15mn erreicht man die meisten Parks. In der direkten Umgebung befinden sich eine Unmenge Restaurants. Der Wasserpark bietet riesen Spass. Unser 6-jähriger wollte sogar lieber zurück ins Hotel als im Universal […] oder Aquatica zu bleiben. Die Spielarkade haben wir auch an einem Abend ausprobiert...da lässt man hauptsächlich viel Geld liegen. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen aber es hat genügend Restaurants in der Nähe. Der Gang zu den Zimmer riecht unangenehm aber das ist kein Wunder, wenn man sieht, wie die Leute mit noch tropfenden Badehosen den Lift nehmen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem für Familien mit kleinen Wasserratten. Mehr

Based on the previous reviews I had read, I wasn't sure what to expect. Check-in process was quick and easy. Room was clean, not perfect, but were not talking 5 star hotel here. There was limited parking on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived due to the water park being sold out that day. But parking was much easier the next day. The walls were pretty […] thin and we were woken at 4am one day with the neighbors crying baby. However every worker we ran into to or spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. Called for extra pillows than later for extra blanket, arrived in under 10 minutes both times. Is this a place for a romantic getaway...No...but the kids had a blast in the water park and it was a great weekend getaway for the family. Mehr

It was great!! We can't wait to go back in the summer!! Wonderful place for the whole family! The water park was the best!

I didn't feel welcome at all when I approached the front desk. I was standing waiting to be checked in for about 15 minutes. There was a hotel guest complaining to one of the front desk worker while two other front desk workers were discussing how bad the traffic was. Then after being checked in, on my way to the room I noticed the hotel exterior corridors […] and stairs were really dirty. To make it worst the room smelled bad, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned and the bed sheets had not been changed. Not satisfied at all with my stay there. Mehr

This is a newer hotel with a fun water park included on their property.Great for younger kids.But there is a surcharge added for this feature.In my opinion its worth it.Also plenty of life guards that take their jobs seriously.

Our 4 year old loved the cocokey! It was a moderate amenity hotel, a little worn but bedding was very good. we told the manager what it lacked was enough towel bars and hooks to hang wet towels and bathing suits esp as it was a water park. A good family fun hotel.

This hotel should be rate a 2 stars or lower. Half the water slides were closed. Spend the extra money and go to The Nick Hotel!.

We booked this hotel hoping to be able to relax by the pool and let the kids run off energy at the waterpark. We did not realize the waterpark is only open 11-7. The pool was open until 10pm though. The kids though wanted to use the waterpark after a long day of theme parks and other attractions in the area. We were disappointed, we only got to use […] the waterpark for a few hours during our 5 day stay due to the hours. The pool outside was dirty, there were always some little black pieces of something floating in the water. The outside fire pit, did not work. We never could use the hot tub, it was always full. The room smelled horrible. We sprayed our own spray to try to mask the smell. The beds were not comfortable, the television channels did not work (we did call the front desk and they would send someone up to fix, but that night they didn't work again), the water stream was very light- it was hard to get shampoo out of your hair with very little water:( The bathroom smelled so bad, we didn't want to be in there- there is some kind of odor in the rooms that smells aweful. I talked to other guests, they had the same problems with the room odors and water. I will say on a positive side, the room seemed clean, and the carpet was clean. The elevators got stuck several times while we were there too! The price was good through hotels.com, but when we got there we had to pay another $20 per day resort fee for activities we didn't even get to use enough to get our money worth. The waterpark was nice, but you can pay to get into it daily. Mehr

if you have children this is a great place to stay

Word to the wise spend the extra 30-40 bucks a night for somwhere else, the waterpark is NOT worth the extra 19 dollars "resort" fee...... packed with Local people, employees and their children at the pool. Buffet was NASTY. House cleaning cleaned our room, when returned from Seaworld.....our door was unlocked, through out the rest of our stay i realized […] how terrible it was to get shut all the way....... then upon check out we waited 20 minutes for the elavator from the 5th floor to get a ride down with all our stuff! The hotel was extremely convenient to everything . Loved the pizza place in the hotel. The pool was colder than expected.

Great location, excellent for kids... My only complaint, as I told the hotel, was that the A/C unit needed maintenance... At some point every night, froze, defrost and started leaking watert... Very heavy flow of water... I solved it by placing the trash can to pick the water up... Other than that, I love the place... My kid was very happy and spent […] a good time... Mehr

coco key is the best hotel you could stay in with your children and never have to leave the hotel. i will be going back to coco key for all my family trips

Enjoyed the whole experience, only one thing I didn't like...the air conditioner was loud. Can't wait to go back.

We checked in on a friday night. It was quick and speedy. The location of the hotel was GREAT!! We went to LegoLand. We enjoyed our stay and my son can't wait to return. And the water park in the hotel was great. We didn't get to use it every day but, the times we did, we really loved it. I just hate that you have to pay to use it even if you don't […] want to. But other then that we really enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Mehr

I would definately recommend this hotel for families with small children or early teens. I had a blast with my son going on the slides....we couldn't get enough. The only things I could complain about are the scratchy towels, the messy bathrooms by the pools and the occassional noise from the rooms next to us. But this is a casual place to have fun […] with your kids. If you are expecting quiet time by the pool, this is not your place. Great location too! Mehr

Enjoyed staying at CoCo Key. It would be a great place for families with young children because of the water park. We however were just looking for a clean, efficient, reasonably-priced hotel near Universal and the outlet park. We found it !! The beds were so comfy too. The place falls very short to what the promise is. The AC was very loud and we were not abel to sleep well. The room cleaness was very questioned when we found hair in the bathroom . The swimming pool and water park is very pretty but the food service is really bad. It is also very espensive considering what it offers.

Reserved a 2-queen room because of four adults. When checking in we were told the hotel was "overbooked" and all they had available was a single king room. This is ridiculous and unacceptable in an era of long cancellation deadlines and computerized reservations.

We arrive at 15:30 hrs room was not ready, ok was told that some would call me on cell when room was ready. No call me waited at water park for over one hour and half so I decide to go back to front to see if my room was ready . It was five pm room not ready, but the rep seen the look on my face and she came up the something for me overlooking the pool, […] so I was happy about that . Check in time need to be more better then that, only have 16 hours in room, what ever happen to 24 hours. Feel like I'm getting my money for the stay, because when checkout time come we have to leave or pay more to stay extras hours . Overall the stay was nice.ms issac Mehr

THE HOTEL WAS AWESOME MY KIDS DID NOT WANT TO GO TO ANY PARKS JUST STAY AT THE HOTEL'S POOL AND GAME ROOM. ROOMS ARE LITTLE BIT SMALL ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOMS, BUT OVERALL CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. WILL RETUNR AGAIN FOR SURE.

Will not stay in this resort again. Even though the room was big the surrounding area of the hotel was terrible. We could hear everything going on outside our room until early hours of the morning. We had a room in the main tower which was bad since parking was really far. Also, they had two elevators and one was not working and the one that did work, […] the numbers did not even show to the floor you had to go to. In the pictures the hotel looks great, but it is not as nice as it looks. Not worth your time or money!!!! Mehr

Awesome hotel & the water park was a blast. We will be going back soon.

We made reservation for 2 nights w/ confirmation number. Check in 4pm. We arrived around 8pm & was told there were no rooms cleaned for us with 2 double beds. Only room left was with a pull out sofa directly in fron of pool (very loud). We had no choice but take it or wait for who knows how long. Then we were told there was an additional charge per […] night for parking & pool. Well it was 48 degrees in the mornnings so no pool...and there was no mention of fees online when I booked the rooms. The hotel offered 3 bus trips to Universal in the morning & 3 back at night...sharing with FOUR other hotels. Standing room only on bus. Once at the parks, your're stuck there unless you pay for a taxi back. Would not stay here again and would not recommend. Mehr

I LOVED it. My kids LOVED it. There was something there to do for everyone. Whether it be playing pool, bowling, karoake for the kids, swimming or the hot tub. They had it all. Only negative thing is the bar drinks are outrageously priced. 5 btls of beer for 20.00 is ALOT. Also, they let the public pay to get in the water slides and it was way to crowded […] in there for the hotel guests to really enjoy their stay there and the amenities. 50 less ppl in the pool area would've made a huge diff. Just a suggestion but I will def. be back to stay again. Well worth the money paid. Mehr

We were placed in a room in the original portion of the hotel, with I-4 in full view. There was loud music, noisy patrons, booming cars going through the parking lot, and the constant drone of cars on the Interstate. The room had two very inconvenient outlets, so it was hard to plug in my laptop or anything else. The chair paired with the work table […] made it impossible to work. I had to place my laptop on my lap to write. The traffic was horrible. It took 20 + minutes to go .75 miles. We were also hit with a $20 a day "resort" fee for something we did not even use, which they apparently add from February through May. We will not be back. Mehr

This hotel is in a great location on a main street near the Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure attractions. You can tell that this property was an older hotel that's been remodeled, but the contractor they hired did a great job. The inside of the room was fresh and lively with brightly colored walls, and the beds were comfy and clean. The hotel […] provides a free shuttle to the parks, but we didn't use it during this stay because we wanted to get to the park early and the first shuttle didn't leave the hotel until 8:05 AM. All in all, it was a good night's rest. Mehr

Every thing was great . My son forgot 3G iPhone in the room we check out . We did not realize in till that night . Went back to hotel to find it .they told me come back tomorrow am at 8 housekeeping said that they will check with security never call me back . Went back to the hotel . Security said they have no iPhone was found . I don't trust there […] housekeeping there were two gentlemen age 25 to 35 talking Spanish about they have found something in another room early that' day when I was staying there .i am white American and Latin I know Spanish to .how could a phone disaper or housekeeping never found it in the room don't they clean the room .they were very clean to me hotel should really check there employes and back grounds Mehr

My kids and I enjoyed the resort. We loved the room and the water slides. Great deal and I recommend to all families want to have a great time!!! Plus they have a bar with a great bartender!!
