Zimmer sowie bar und Restaurant in diesem Hotel sind super sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet. Der victorianische Stiel ist wirklich beeindruckend. Mendocino ist ein sehr gemütliches Dorf voller kleiner Geschäfte. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, Wälder, Brandungen und Meer soweit das Auge reicht. Insgesamt lässt sich nur gutes über dieses Hotel sagen.

very friendly staff but no breakfast was offered. The rooms looked as if they had been refurbished recently, everything was nice and clean. Fridge and TV were available.

"Perfect!"
PERFECT! Rooms were clean & roomy for a family of 5. The indoor pool & hot tub were a hit for the entire family- the hot tub after a morning of canoeing on the Nolo River, ahhh! Just wished it was a little more updated, but overall a great weekend stay.

"America's Best Value Inn in Fort Bragg"
Looked last minute for hotel to stay in the day before the Whale Festival in Fort Bragg and found this one online. It was very reasonable so we tried it out. It is not the most updated with respect to ondition; however, it was VERY clean and comfortable. Moreover, the staff was super friendly. An older gentleman checked us in and he was amazingly nice […] and helpful. Also gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and where the "locals" hang out. Having four kids, there was no extra fee for the six of us to room ( except we payed $10 to have a cot for my son). We went to dinner and the cot was waiting for us with all the fixin's when we returned. Additionally there was a free continental breakfast which included fresh yummy muffins, OJ, yogurt, hot chocolate, and coffee. Very happy with our stay... And pets are welcome. Mehr

"A Seabird in Fort Bragg CA"
For those of us who enjoy the coast but are unable to afford the rates of B & Bs, the Seabird is an excellent alternative in the sense that the staff here treat us like VIPs and the care of the rooms and grounds show pride as much as any higher scale or quaintly refurbished jewel; everything is very clean, requests are addressed promptly, and simple, […] sincere courtesy is afforded to everyone. "SEABIRD IN Fort Bragg, Ca"
When we got there I requested a downstairs room istead of upstairs and Richard was very helpful and very friendly. The room was very clean and every day it was made up after we got back from our day on the Skunk Train and the next day at the beach. The breakfast of muffins, juice and yogurt was very generous, also coffee,tea and hot chocolate. The only […] thing I would check on our next visist to make sure there isn't a birthday party above us....little girls tend to jump alot!!!! So our second night wasn't as quiet as the first. But when I mentioned it the desk, they quickly said if there was any problem at all to please call them and they would take care of the problem....We had a delicios pizza at D'Aurelis', on Friday, go early it gets busy..great service and the food is always good and you always have some to take to the beach the next day. On Saturday we had a delicious dinner at the Cliff House. Beautiful view and very good service. Our grandson is only five and he enjoyed it as much as us. Breakfast at the restaurant by the train station is good and generous servings. We love Fort Bragg and the worse part about our trip is having to leave. We will be back in June Mehr

The front desk person was very friendly and personal. What a wonderful way to welcome tired travelers! For the price, the room was clean and decent. Although the beds were okay, they can be much more comfortable with better matress pads. Over all, this is a good place to stay at when you are on a budget.

Got to the hotel after a long tiring ride up from Bodega Bay. Room was clean and already had the roll-away bed that we ordered. Second floor room had a few of the ocean. Excellent room for the price, considering the location. My new go-to hotel when in the area.

"ABVI Seabird in Fort Bragg"
While this motel is older, it is kept up very well and the room size was impressively large. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning in the room, and it was an unseasonably warm day out. Both of the women who worked the check-in/check-out desk were very nice and hospitable. All-in-all, we were quite pleased with our one night stay here. "Great Stay"
Found the hotel very pleasant for an America's Best Value Inn. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was very good with excellant muffins. Had a ocean view (a sliver type) across Hwy 111 from the second floor. Although close to Hwy 101 It's far enough back so the traffic noise is barely noticable.

This is an OK place. The room was large and clean, but everything was a bit dated. The lobby and help were friendly and breakfast was fine ... local fresh muffins! Nothing great, nothing bad ... an OK place
We had a very pleasant stay at the Seabird Inn. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub, and were pleasantly surprised to find a microwave in our room. There was also a free continental breakfast provided, and we had a nice balcony overlooking the ocean, which we were weren't expecting. The only downside, which we also weren't expecting, were the barbeques […] several guests hosted outside their hotel rooms both night we were there. They took up several parking spots, and made accessing the stairs inconvenient. Perhaps this was a local tradition we were unfamiliar with, but I've certainly never seen that any other place I've stayed. But overall, a very pleasant stay. Mehr

"fun stay"
The pool and spa was very fun, especially for the kids. Brought the dogs, decent rooms. Great location, close to everything.They were very friendly at the front desk, nice some yummy muffins in the morning too. Had a nice time !

"For the money the Seabird is a solid value."
The Seabird is clean, friendly, and welcomes dogs. We had to bring my dog at the last minute and found the Seabird totally accomodating. The jacuzzi and pool are not 5 star, but clean and welcome after a long day. The ocean view is good and it is close to everything. It's our second stay and I would stay again.

The staff was very helpful at suggesting great resturants in the area and some must see sights.We stayed for two nights and each day the staff was super!The pool and hot tub were well mantained and clean and very comfortable tempatures.

We had a comfortable and secure as well as friendly three days here. Basic continental breakfast with juice, yogurt, homemade muffins, coffee/tea.We used a fan to keep us cool on the warmer nights. Truckers occasionally stop here and leave early so you might hear the backup beeping. This was infrequent though. We want to return next fall for sure! Close […] to the Mendocino Gardens and Mc Kerricher Beach/Park, The town of Fort Bragg has some classy parts and great boutique shopping, too. Much more reasonably priced area in which to stay. Mehr
"Below Par and Expensive"
The hotel was expensive for the ammenities provided. It didn't have a hair dryer and an iron in the room....basic stuff! The batroom didn't have a ventilation fan or a window. The room had a musty smell. I wonder of they thoroughly clean the rooms, particularly as they allow pets in the room. Fortunately I was only there for one night. Will not stay […] here again! Mehr
