Comfort Inn Philadelphia Airport - Essington

Wir waren hier im Juni 2010. In der Umgebung befindet sich nur 1 Diner, ansonsten Industrie. Keine direkte Verbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Phillie. Aber: kostenloser Shuttle zum Flughafen, den wir genutzt haben da wir von hier mit der Bahn nach Philadelphia reingefahren sind. Frühstück war okay. Empfang war sehr unfreundlich!

Only nice thing I could say is the bed was comfortable sleeping, breakfast was standard, good, but nothing special. Hotel was outdated, sloppy paint job. Did not feel safe in neighborhood.

Only stayed one night and left our car there for 10 days until we came back from our trip. Both rides to and from the airport were excellent. They were both on time and very courteous. The young man who brought us back was very polite and even took us right to the car. Was in town for an MMA event at the nearby casino. Check in was swift and the person who waited on me was very polite, courteous, and helpful. My room was actually larger and nicer than I had anticipated for the price I paid. The room was nice and quiet so no loud neighbors. King size bed was very plush and comfortable with tons of pillows. Bathroom […] was operational with no flaws and very clean. The only short coming was in the parking...limited at best if returning to hotel after hours so was instructed to park in yhe back where i couldnt keep an eye on my vehicle. This hotel was awful. It is in need of serious renovation and updating. I don't think the housekeeping staff has heard of vacuum cleaners! Worst of all, when we first got to our room, there was a tiny bit of toilet paper on the roll AND NO SPARE ROLLS anywhere! There also not NOT a box of tissues in the holder. We stopped at the front desk on our way […] to dinner and ask for spare toilet paper and tissues. We were told the supplies would be in our room right way. Returned from dinner (40 minutes later) STILL no toilet paper or tissues. We called down to the front desk TWICE with no results. My husband finally raided the public men's bathroom on the first floor. We will not stay here again nor will we recommend to our friends. Inexcusable! Mehr

This hotel is not clean or good at all. It stinks, particularly like pot and has shady/rough characters hanging about. If you are a single woman staying in Philadelphia for the night near the airport, do not pick this hotel.

The price was lower than other hotels in the vicinity (but still $99) but it showed. The halls were dirty, and our room smelled stale. There was a plastic mattress pad on the bed that made a crinkling sound whenever we moved. The breakfast was adequate, but the cereal was a generic brand and noticeably of lesser quality. Everything was fine and the hotel offered free parking and shuttle; however, the hotel is not equipped to shuttle several parties around the same time. We had some trouble getting everyone to the airport and then waited 40 minutes until a shuttle was available to get us from the airport upon arriving back into Philadelphia. Stayed at the hotel before picking up my daughter at the airport for her 6:20am arrival. The shuttle van picked me up on time and them brought me and my daughter back to the hotel. Very friendly driver! Then we had a nice warm breakfast before heading back home. Great rate for one night stay. I had a comfy king sized bed!

The real problem with this hotel is that it is way overdue for refurbishing. It would appear that all furnishings, carpets and finishes are from the original construction, probably in the 1980's. The result is a worn-out look, unpleasant odors, soiled fabrics and carpets and the smell of too many treatments with chemicals to try to get rid of the dirt […] and odors. Dull and dingy. My stay was great just too short...6 hrs because of my flight home. shuttle guy was friendly, lady behind the desk also, knew her job well. Beds really comfy! Breakfast looked good but had to leave too early to enjoy it

The stay and continental breakfast at the Hotel were good. We stayed at the Comfort Airport Hotel for the free Airport parking. Dropping off at the airport was fine BUT picking was Horrible. We waited 50 minutes when we were told by the hotel desk that the driver would be there in 10 - 15 minutes. Driver lied and said he had gone by the pick-up spot […] 4 times. After our pick-up driver made another stop and picked up another man who said he was waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes. We made many calls to the hotel desk while we were waiting and several times no one answered the phone. Mehr

Can not beat the convienince of the hotel to the airport, price, or the very friendly and can't do enough for you staff! Been there before and would go again. However the public areas and general maintence of the hotel in general could be attended to. My room was a bit on the sad side but I was too tired to care much, bed very comfortable.

The staff was fabulous. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh when entering the lobby. The hotel seems older, but it appears as though they were trying to update the rooms with new furniture and updated bathroom fixtures. Quite frankly I would not recommend this hotel.... The mattress was at such an angle I thought I was sleep on the side on a mountain. Perhaps after a major remodel I could see going back....

I checked in later than I had hoped; but found everything very much in order. Room was surprisingly larger and cleaner than I had thought based on other reviews [I read]. I Will Definitely use Expedia.com again.

This hotel is an ok hotel. Staff are nice, room is ok. The only thing that disappointed me was the internet connection. There was no connection in my room - 432. I had been sitting in the lobby till 2am in order to get my work done. Did it the next morning, talk on the phone with my clients in front of kids who were having b'fast in the area. other […] than the internet connection problem (i was told some rooms didn't have connection because they were located too far from the source center.), I am satisfied with this hotel as a 2.5 stars hotel, they have shuttle bus to the airport and the Harrah's casino.
